Cozy and comfortable

It was very quiet and comfortable. If you prefer rural settings this place is for you. Off the beaten path, and quaint. Good place for meditation.

Our favorite hideaway

We spent a week here on a writer's retreat and our anniversary. It was just right for what we needed--to unplug and to focus. Living life at a slower pace is great for us sometimes. This is our little casita that we love!

Beautiful, quiet countryside escape!

I thoroughly enjoyed a much needed rest away from city life.Bev and Fred are wonderful hosts, welcoming and hospitable. The property is as comfortable as it is beautiful, the kitchen stocked remarkably well, the sofa and bed very comfortable, and everything pristinely clean. It's a great spot to spend time outdoors walking, or sitting on the porch reading, enjoying nature. I will definitely be returning to this peaceful place.

Love love love

We wanted a relaxing secluded lovely place to hang out and spend some down time. We got it and more!!! Arrived on a Friday afternoon and never left for 3 days. It was so relaxing and everything we needed.

The Country Casita

The Casita has everything you need and is beautifully decorated. There is wildlife all around and great vistas. I had a very relaxing time and also caught a bass. Would definitely go back again.

Super cute place!

Really enjoyed my stay! They have everything you could possibly need and then some...hospitality at it's best! Loved having the cats come visit and snuggle with me. The cardinals are amazing!

Comfy Casita

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house is so clean and very well stocked with everything you need. The hostess is very sweet and goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. The location is so beautiful and so peaceful and quiet. Will be staying again.

Awesome Place

We loved the Casita. This was a great getaway from the big city. The area was quiet. The walk around the beautiful property was fabulous. The view from the bedroom window was breathtaking. The Casita was perfect!!

Cozy Casita

My husband and I loved our stay at the Casita. The property is very charming and very well equipped. The setting is very peaceful and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed watching the horses and all the birds. Lots of wildflowers to see along the country roads.

I was greeted by the Host upon arrival. I was mesmerized at first glance. I am retired American Airlines and the Resort Industry. All either 5 star or 5 diamond rated. The Casita I would rated even higher. The grounds were spectacular the barnamenion was perfection. I felt comfortable alone or when my family came to visit. I highly recommend The Casita for style, cleanliness, spectacular view, grounds. I know I will always stay here when I come back to Texas to visit family and friends

Quiet and peaceful location

The property was as listed and the communication with the owner was top notch. She checked on me a few times to make sure I had what I needed. Check in and check out were easy. The rental was very nice and the property was quiet and peaceful. Thank you.

Loved the Casita!

Casita was great! Bev and Fred are so nice and I really enjoyed my weekend stay! I almost took Wendell the cat home with me…he and Queenie became my besties while I was there. Loved petting the horses too and seeing the pretty birds! The place was stocked to the T! Had everything you could possibly need and more. Thank you!

Wonderful getaway at the Casita

The casita did not disappoint! It was even better than I expected. Hosts Bev and Fred were very welcoming, friendly, and responsive. The interior of the casita is thoughtfully appointed and well stocked. Overall, it’s very cozy and comfortable. Outside, you’re surrounded by beautiful grounds with amazing birds and other wildlife. The hosts’ cats and dogs were quick to become my new BFFs. Overall, I was delighted with my stay, plan to return, and would highly recommend!

No other place compares!

I was at the casita this time last year. As I made plans for a trip this year and looked at other locations, it was very clear to me that there is no other place that compares to this place. As soon as I walked in the door I was relieved to be back. The casita is so tastefully decorated and has everything you need (but you must take your own food :) ). It is nicely furnished and the sofa makes for great napping. The property is so peaceful and tranquil. I already look forward to going back next year. If you're looking for a quiet getaway and need space to retreat from life, this is the place to go.

Another Visit to Serenity! Best sunsets Ever!

I love visiting. Relaxing & peaceful. Bed is super comfortable, kitchen well stocked, bathroom items perfect. Enjoyed watching the birds, horses and petting the dog and cats. Its so fun feeding the horses when they visit dally. Caught a small bass & returned it to the pond. Internet connection was sporadic for laptop work. Bring your fave groceries. The Casita has everything else You need and more. Owners always respond to assist and go out of their way to make you comfortable and have a terrific visit. Cant wait to return.

AMAZING Slice of Heaven

My partner and I wanted to get away from it all, and we could not have been happier with our time at the Casita! The space was lovely, clean, and felt like we were at home. Bev & Fred are so kind and hospitable! And because the casita is connected to their barn, we got many horse and barn cat sightings (one cat Queenie because my best bud when I would go outside). They provide and incredible kitchen, fully stocked with everything you need aside from milk, meats, and produce (they even provided eggs!). It’s about 15 miles to get to the nearest grocery store, but we loaded up while adventuring in a neighboring town (Granbury) and had an amazing time fully away from the world. I cannot say enough kind things about the property, but especially the hosts. I hope to return with my children soon ❤️
