Enjoy peace and quiet at this unique and tranquil getaway. This cozy, one bedroom cottage is an efficiency style cottage. It sits on five acres, behind a Queen Anne home that was built in 1897. The property has a pool and a large patio area with tables and umbrellas. Grab a cruiser bike and head to downtown Weatherford, less than a mile away. The Weatherford historic district and Chandor Gardens are both within walking distance.

Great historic property in historic Weatherford. The host is wonderful. Bed is incredibly comfortable which is often a struggle for us. Everything is provided and a quiet, safe, and enjoyable place to stay.

In town but feels miles away

We enjoyed a long weekend in Weatherford. This spot was a great place to land at the end of a day exploring locally and also an easy drive to hit some highlights of Fort Worth. It looks like a great old house (my wife wants a house tour) and the guest quarters were exactly as advertised and made for a very nice stay. Highly recommended.

Great getaway to focus on writing

My husband and I absolutely loved this property that is part of a well preserved and gorgeous Queen Anne -Victorian home. We needed an escape to focus on writing our novel, and we had the quiet we required in addition to the beauty of the property itself when it was time to come up for some air. Respite from the heat

Despite the searing heat, Top of the Hill was cool and lovely. The pool is just feet from my door and Ashley makes sure your visit is comfy. This beautiful Victorian is perfectly maintained.

Great Anniversary Getaway

We wanted to get away for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We couldn’t have picked a better spot. The room looked just like the pictures. The place was immaculate. The property was just gorgeous. It was a little slice of paradise close to the downtown area but felt very secluded. We saw deer every day. Would definitely stay here again.

My name is Ashley and I've been married to my husband, Mark, for almost 16 years. We have 12 year old triplet boys and two sweet dogs. We love old houses and are excited to keep working on the Queen-Anne Victorian that sits in front of our cozy cottage.

Our property is very unique, in the fact that it sits on 5 acres, has a pool and sits on one of the tallest hills in Weatherford, TX. The original home was built in 1897 and is considered a Queen Anne Victorian.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Our property is about a mile from downtown Weatherford and very close to the Historic District. Chandor Gardens is approximately 1/2 mile away. There are two cruiser bikes on the property you can use to explore.
