Five private bedrooms, all with comfortable beds featuring snowy-white linen, fluffy white bath towels, and beach towels provided too.

The open plan living space of kitchen and sitting area is comfortably appointed, complemented with a glass sliding door onto the west-facing dining deck, for perfect sunsets.

The dining room has a stunning antique dining table circa 1825, comfortably seating 10.

There's also al fresco dining for 10 on the dining deck, and shady picnic spots in the gardens. The firepit has comfortable chairs for a night of marshmallow-toasting and star-gazing.

There's an outdoor shower if you want to cool down and, of course, the beaches are only a short 10-15-minute drive away.

Bedrooms #1 and #5 have air conditioning. The central kitchen and living area is also air-conditioned, which can also cool the whole Cottage including the other bedrooms. Orchard Cottage is shaded and screened by beautiful bamboo, so tends to be a cooler property. There are also portable fans provided for use in the property if wished.

In the winter, hot water bottles and cosy blankets are provided for everyone, so you can make the most of every day and night. The woodburner in the sitting area is also welcome in the winter season.

Enjoy year-round alfresco dining, or simply relax with a good book.

The kitchen is a foodie's dream, with a huge island complete with stools for helpers and diners, an excellent full-size oven, dishwasher, pine worktops, electric hob, microwave, coffee machines, food processor, slow cooker, toaster, kettle, and fridge-freezer.

We stock the tea station, pantry, and fridge with some essentials for you, including salt and pepper grinders, olive oil, herbs, fruit, and milks.

Our hens provide perfect pasture-raised free-range eggs, which can be purchased in our own farm shop, 350 m from the Cottage, along with our free range pork, all the local icecreams and drinks, gifts and plants.

We even provide ready-to-bake French croissants for you to have freshly cooked and warm from the oven on your first morning.

The living area in Orchard Cottage offers comfortable sofas, bean bags and stools, There's a good TV and DVD player with a huge well-chosen DVD library, board games, and library of books.

Orchard Cottage provides five bedrooms:
- bedroom #1 has a Queen bed and air conditioning;
- bedroom #2 has a triple bunk bed - one double bed below, with a single bed above;
- bedroom #3 has a bunk bed comprising two single beds;
- bedroom #4 is a King-single room, opening onto a private deck and reading nook;
- bedroom #5 is a Queen room, with air conditioning, adjacent to the second bathroom.

The two bathrooms are stylish and modern with great showers using twice-filtered harvested rainwater.

There's a washing machine along with indoor and outdoor clothes-lines.

There's also an outdoor shower screened by bamboo and tropical plants, perfect for when you're just back from a surf or a swim at the beach.

Bamboo Park is a 42-acre private property with extensive grounds and orchards featuring "hugelkulture" raised beds.

You can pick your own seasonal superfoods, herbs, fruits, veggies and salads - and see if the hens have laid any eggs in the morning. The peacocks may come and say good morning to you, if you share some treats with them. All our gardening is organic, we are powered by solar green energy, and have our own harvested twice-filtered rainwater.

We are very dog-friendly. Well mannered pets are welcome and your dogs can be off-leash on the property, including in the orchards, hay meadows, bamboo plantations and woodland. There's a rainwater tap for washing off your dog outside the Cottage. Dogs are welcome inside the Cottage, and the deck is fully fenced with a child-safe and pet-safe gate.

The circular driveway has plenty of space for parking any number of cars, in addition to your designated parking by the mango trees.
