Netarts Sundown - Meredith Lodging

Explore the North Oregon Coast with your family and friends from this beautiful new home on a ridge above Netarts Bay, west of Tillamook. Located on a quiet street in a newer development, Netarts Sundown brings you a family-friendly location with the beach just five minutes away by car.

Your guests will love the two main gathering spaces in the home, the spacious great room with its gas fireplace, TV and foosball table, and the light-filled bonus room, which gives them a quieter place to gather for conversation under the vaulted ceiling. The dining room seats eight, with room for two at the adjoining breakfast bar, and the fully equipped kitchen is large enough to accommodate extra kitchen helpers. The back deck is perfect for an outdoor barbecue. Four bedrooms upstairs include a spacious queen suite with a spa tub.

Netarts Bay is a great spot for fishing and crabbing, and two local restaurants sit just below your neighborhood. Nearby beaches include the enchanting town of Oceanside and the beautiful Three Capes, and of course the Tillamook Creamery and the popular Pelican Pub are minutes away in Tillamook. Great house in quiet neighborhood

This house was perfect for our family’s vacation. It is close to Tillamook for shopping and close to several beaches and coastal towns. It was comfortable and had plenty of space for our family of 8 to gather, eat, play games, etc.

Nice place to save money with big groups of people.

Love it. Second time staying here and i will again. Wish some of the pillows had washable pillow cases seems like they should?

First visit to the Coast

A quick trip to bring our parents to the coast! Plenty of room for us. Not the easiest property for my 81 yo father-in-law, but he did ok.

Netarts stay

Home was roomy and clean. Stair handles need to be more secure. I'd recommend additional brackets. There were no chairs in any of the bedrooms. Really need at least one in each. Couldn't find any additional sheet sets. Would have liked to place a sheet on top of the quilt. Neighborhood was nice and quiet, lovely views.

Beautiful home

House was beautiful, had everything we needed. Only bad thing was that we had kids and the carpet was white all over the house, so it was challenging but overall we loved it. Easy access to the beach.

Great for groups, great location

A group came down to fish the area. This house was great as a home base. Had lots of room to hang out. We mainly hung out in the open kitchen/living room area. There was another living room on the first floor we didn’t use. All the bedrooms were upstairs making it great for people going to sleep at different hours. Highly recommend

You have my issues and photos in an active file at this time. I await your response! The total lack of response from the management company was terrible. I sent two emails to them. Their last response was “my pleasure”!!! No answer to my complaints.

A bit Lacking

The property was ok, but lacking in thoughtful details. If you don't plan on doing literally anything but sleep at the house, than it's fine. The collection of games was dissappointing, there was very little to work with in the kitchen to prep, serve, or store food...no tupperware, zip locks, or plastic wrap. the beds were all quite hard, and you could feel springs on one...very uncomfortable. It would be nice if there were at least some memory foam pads. We also found it odd that there wasn't a guest book, not a big deal, but it is fun to see what others enjoyed and get ideas for extra activities or destinations. The whole place felt like a random assortment of Goodwill furniture...I don't need anything fancy, but things were a bit beat up....I don't know, the property was just a bit odd, like there wasn't much care or thought put into it. OH, and the back yard is an absolute overgrown mess! You can't even go out into it to enjoy a quiet evening under the stars or anything. Also, if any in your party are more elderly...don't stay here, LOTS of stairs, and the railing on the front porch stairs are super wobbly, definately an accident waiting to happen. My grandmother didn't even stay the whole time because the house was too difficult for her to get around in. I gave it 4 stars because it was clean, and a place to sleep in a good location, but I wouldn't stay here again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The house is amazing. The whole process was great and the location is great. The only issue we had was the master bedroom bed was very hard and uncomfortable. But overall I give it 5 stars. Awesome place. Thanks for having us.

Lovely Rental

A quiet, small neighborhood, space. We stayed here while visiting for a wedding. It met most of our needs. Few small negatives first. Kitchen had a few items from "home" we didn't find. A mixer to make a cake was found but not functioning. No full blender but did have a 2 cup Ninja style blender. Small issues in the reality of it all. A little table or something for the internet stuff would be nicer than it being on the floor, but access worked great. A few other small things but I would summarize them by saying, I'd gladly stay here again. Oh, maybe a few extra hangers for putting things up out of luggage. Found just enough for our basic need, hanging up wedding outfits. Beautiful gas fireplace was nice when the evening dropped into the 40s. Even from a distance, beautiful view of the nearby coast, and just a wonderful underlying tone from the waves crashing. Easy access to the coastal shoreline, and reasonable times getting back into Tillamook for needed items. Clean overall, and I had a nostalgic smile on finding a VCR in a room. 🙂 Nice initial toiletries for a short stay. A good comfortable (firm) bed in the room we were in. So again, I'd recommend for a nice quieter space that's not full of frills but also saves you bills. Thank you for your coastal region home share.

The house is as advertised. The house is clean and lots of windows. The beds where comfy. The neighborhood is pretty quiet. The kitchen is not very well equiped if you are planning on doing much cooking during your stay.

Bright home near Oregon Coast

This is a lovely, bright home with partial views of Netarts Bay and the Pacific beyond. The primary bedroom has partial water views and of woodlands, and it has a spacious bathroom with a separate shower and Jacuzzi tub. The other three BRs share a small bath with a combined tub-shower. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped, and the gas grill on the deck worked well. The owners request that shoes be removed before treading on the light grey carpet and we were glad we had brought our own slippers. There was a curious lack of dressers in any of the bedrooms, so one must unpack leaving clothes in piles on the floor. The front porch has the best water view, and we moved some chairs out to enjoy a sunset glass of wine. The area is low key, but we recommend the samosa’s sold by the Indian couple at Bayside Market, and The Schooner Restaurant.

Nice home away from home

The house was great and met our needs, the home is only 4 beds, 2 1/2 bath. We were expecting one more shower. Also, there is no view of the ocean or the beach like advertised.
