West End Paradise Unit Fish 6 - One bedroom suite w/water views

Enjoy all that Sanibel Island has to offer at the West End Paradise. Our charming cottage style accommodations offer a serene and tropical setting with mature foliage, pond with birds and turtles and we're just a short walk to the private Tradewinds beach. Unit "Fish 6" is a bungalow style suite with a full kitchen, spacious living room, dining area, screened lanai and separate bedroom with a queen sized bed. There is a full bathroom in the suite as well. Need more room? ... add unit "Sanddollar 7" for an additional bedroom with king sized bed and full bathroom. All of our units come with beach towels, access to the charcoal bbq grill, outdoor seating, high speed wireless internet, cable TV and air conditioning for those tropical Island summers.   Only one parking space per unit.

Instead, we’ve partnered with VayKLife to provide you with a credit toward beach essentials like chairs, umbrellas, coolers, wagons, and more—so you can pack light and still enjoy everything you need for a perfect day at the beach. This property was very clean and had all of the necessities for a short stay. We loved the location and appreciated access to a private beach. All of the furnishings were updated and comfortable, and the addition of delivered beach supplies and bikes was a plus.

The place was very nice with everything you may need to stay a few days! Walking distance to the beach and short drive to other beaches. A bit far from restaurants or other amenities but fair for the price considering the market in the island

Practically new, clean, all house keeping supplies available except hair dryer. Location of laundry unclear in description. Could use an internal bug zapper. Office staff customer friendly. Overall, an excellent facility will stay here again when we return to Sanibel.

Very nice updated property. But coffee pot was dirty with mold growing, no coffee filters, not enough pillows, and no hot water in the kitchen.Very disappointed in not enough toilet paper or paper towel, garbage bags or dish soap. If I am staying a week, charge me 20 extra and supply toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags. It is just a hassle.

We're very sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your stay, especially regarding the coffee pot and the amenities. We provide all guests with a list of starter supply amenities prior to arrival to help them plan and avoid any shortages. This list details what's included and what guests may want to bring or purchase for longer stays. We also want to assure you that our team is always ready to assist right away with any concerns guests might have. We didn't receive any communication from you during your stay about these issues. Had we known, we would have immediately addressed them, including the hot water in the kitchen or any missing supplies. Our property was completely renovated after devastating hurricanes, and we've put a tremendous amount of effort into making it as comfortable and accommodating as possible for our guests. We're constantly working to improve and truly regret that your experience wasn't what it should have been. We hope you'll consider staying with us again so we can provide you with a much better experience.

After finding our place

after finally finding our place, VRBO gave wrong address. We enjoyed the cottage and was clean. Parking was strange due to others not parking by their cottage so we had to use others parking spots

Sorry about the parking. We do ask that everyone just use one spot and park as neatly as possible. With just two buildings, you aren't far at all from either side of the lot

A different Sanibel experience!

We stayed in a small group of cottages on Captiva 2 years ago, so this time we chose West End Paradise for that same one-story cottage lodging on Sanibel. West End Paradise is very, very quiet -- almost hard to find your cottage/suite because it is quite dark on the grounds. We were not familiar with the combination of one-room, studio and suite lodging here, so we ended up being confused about how to find our #3 when the first possibility we saw was #3A. A rep from Dream Vacations promptly answered our phone call and helped us to find our way. The one-bedroom suite we rented has a spacious living room / dining area and a pleasant screened porch in back. The bedroom is a little small, and the bathroom is very small (one sink with barely any counter space around it) but usable. If you want to walk to any restaurants, etc, this is not the place for you. But if you want perfect quiet, nature all around, and no one above you, look it up and sort out the 3 different types of lodging!

We also appreciate you mentioning the helpfulness of the Dream Vacations representative. It's true that West End Paradise isn't within walking distance of restaurants. However, we do provide information on nearby dining options at check-in, and many fantastic restaurants are just a short drive away. We're happy to hear you found the living area and screened porch spacious. We acknowledge the bedroom and bathroom might be on the smaller side, which is typical for some of our one-bedroom suites. We encourage guests to review the detailed descriptions and photos of each unit type before booking to ensure a perfect fit for their needs. Thank you again for your review. West End Paradise unit 3

We really enjoyed our walk to the beach each day. The neighborhood is beautiful! If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place. We loved seeing the Herons and egrets in the pond just outside our door. Just a short drive to shops restaurants and the Nature reserve where we spent several enjoyable days.

Easy access and parking for the beach. Plenty of parking at the house itself. Clean and quiet property. Mattress is super FIRM fyi.

Nice, cozy. A bit overpriced

Clean, well maintained. Furnishings and appliances a bit dated. Full kitchen and utensils. Nice to have bikes and beach furniture available at no extra charge. Blinds broken or missing in some places. Thought checkout a bit early (10am) considering check in isnt until 4 pm. Overall we enjoyed our visit

I really enjoyed my stay.

I really enjoyed my stay. I especially loved the fact that each property had beach gear available! Everything worked fine and I had no issues! The only suggestion I have is to change out the shower head in unit 3! I really had little to no interaction with team members. The few I did see smiled and seemed friendly.

Convenient to beach

This 1 bedroom unit was sufficient for our needs. The beach parking pass will get you within a couple minute walk to the coast. The unit was clean but the kitchen is lean. If you are driving and plan to eat in you may want to pack a kit with your favorite cooking utensils. We saw the resident alligator on our way out. Nice for a quick weekend away.
