Delightful Cottage for 4 Guests in Canyon Lake!

Welcome to Millie’s - Annie. Cottages maintain their original 1970’s charm, now transformed into contemporary, comfortable gems with the best sunsets in all of Canyon Lake.

Currently Canyon Lake levels are at a historic low and lake access from Millie's is limited. Please visit the MyCanyonLake website for more information under the category of lakes and rivers.

Creature comforts include:
· Two Queen beds (sleeps 4)
· Living area with dining table, couch, WiFi, Smart TV (bring your logins), games, puzzles, books, etc.
· A cozy kitchen including Galanz fridge/freezer, electric range/oven, microwave, coffee maker (of course), blender, toaster, dishes, drinkware, flatware, knives, cooking tools, bakeware, pot holders, BBQ tools, dish soap, first aid kit, and more. Customized Yeti cups are available for purchase if you’d like to take Millie’s home with you.
· Beautiful, full bath – including towels, hairdryers, and bathing suit hangers.
· Outdoor seating area including a charcoal BBQ pit (BYO - meat, veggies, charcoal and lighter fluid), picnic table, and chairs.
· 1 wagon/cottage and beach towels.
· Parking – 2 cars/cottage or 1 car and a boat maximum.
· Proximity to Canyon Lake Boat Ramp #17 (currently closed), Canyon Lake Dam, Brookshire Brothers Grocery, Gruene, shopping, restaurants, watercraft rentals and more.

As the property boasts the perfect combination of convenience and seclusion, wild things abound. We’ve seen those that slither, sting, stink, spray and graze so be aware of your surroundings and who you share it with.

Speaking of sharing – there will be other guests on the property with you in other cottages.

*The health and safety of our guests is paramount. Cleanliness is always our top priority. We offer a 24 hour guest service contact number for emergencies and messages will be answered promptly. Arrive after four o’clock when it is convenient for you with an easy and contactless check in and out process for our guests.

Neat place

The property was better than expected. Super clean and was decorated very nicely. We've stayed at a ton of rentals and lots are not the same as the pictures listed or just not clean.The beds were very comfortable along with the sheets and pillows (other places we have stayed cheap out on this). We will definitely be staying here again when in town.

Wonderful stay

Loved the property. Everything appeared as advertised but even better than pictured. - Extremely clean - Great patio to watch deer in the a.m with a cup of coffee - Nice touch : gallon of water and sparking flavored water in the fridge and was cold. - Stocked coffee with filter and sweetener - Comfortable beds —AC was nice and cold. - Plenty of towels and stocked with shampoo , body wash, and conditioner. Had a great stay, will be back, and highly recommend to others.

Very nice place. And very good view of shallow end of lake.big blue wagon furnished for the cabin was very used for the walk to the lake..lots of deer and wildlife to feed..very clean cabin and beds were very comfortable,,perfect pillows,,different kinds of pillows,,soft,medium, firm....cute fridge..very nice back patio,,very good view from living and bedroom

Anniversary Trip

We loved the cabin! It was beautifully updated & we had all we needed! The deck out back was where we spent most of time. We walked down to the lake too. It is sad that the lake is so low. We saw deer & a wild cat. It is such a peaceful place! We also met a neighbor named Joyce who shared the history of the cabins, which a nice treat!

Canyon Lake/Hill Country get away

No water in the lake!! Actually, very low level, still enjoyable, comfortable and cozy for 2. Who knew it would be 38°??!! Very enjoyable andvworth a second trip . Amenities and grocery near by. We both loved it!!

Cute Cottage

Plenty of living space for two but we were both disappointed the fireplace was "decorative" only. Would have loved a fire in the evenings. It is at the furthest end of the lake and the "beach" is rocks. Apart from the fireplace no issues.

Incredible Location

The property was beautiful! Upon arrival, we met several deer in the back which we loved! We didn’t see any scary critters even when we walked down to where the water was. Huge bonus for me! It hasn’t rained enough in this area for the water to be in the creek behind the property, but that didn’t detract from its beauty. The inside was perfect and met all of our needs as well. You can’t beat the location! You’re within an hour of some of the best eateries and attractions the Hill Country provides. Thanks again!

Good location but contract is outrageous

We stayed two days and paid over $40 in fees for an insurance policy to cover 1 million of protection. This is more than the cost of a standard rental insurance policy for 30 days in an apartment. I wish they would publish this and be honest about their fees.

Josh, I understand that can be confusing to navigate at first. When you book on the VRBO site, it discloses the breakdown of pricing before checkout. Under the host fees reads the Damage Waiver and the amount. We do this to protect our owners' homes while absolving guests of any accidental damages that may occur during their stay. I apologize if there was any miscommunication.

Not what I expected

I was highly disappointed in my stay. The pics show lake front and there was no lake at all. Canyon lake is drying up. The property owner needs to update their photos and let their guest know that this is not lake front. The cottage was nice but the view not so much. If I would have known about the lake I would not have booked my stay here.

Nice outdoor setting and views

Impecable cabins, well equipped, super nice location with direct access to the banks of the lake. The shore gets crowded over the weekends, which does not offer too much privacy during peak hours. Overall super nice stay. Great location. Would encourage owner to buy a new, more comfortable couch.

Great first getaway for our baby

The property was perfectly set up with all the amenities you would need and direct lake access. We had a crawling infant, and the property felt safe to let her roam about on the floor. Having our own deck was a nice little luxury to wildlife watch in the mornings and evenings too. The only slight downside to the trip, and that was more our lack of research than the property’s fault, was that during the week very little was open near the property so you had to drive to Gruene or New Braunfels for food/supplies. I would definitely recommend this property though! Thanks
