Oak Hollow Cabin at Canyon Lake

Peaceful and remote, yet close to fun. This is a one bedroom, 500sq ft cabin that sleeps three comfortably. The front porch is a wonderful spot for your morning coffee and catching sight of the wild peacocks and deer that roam the area. If your looking for quiet surroundings to catch a breath of fresh air, this is your spot.
Minutes away from restaurants, tubing, shopping and centrally located between New Braunfels, Gruene, and Wimberley, this is the perfect location to venture out on day trips or to enjoy a concert at Whitewater Amphitheater. There is a boat launch two minutes away for those that enjoy water activities and fishing. We have plenty of parking for your boat or jet ski.

You cannot go wrong with this adorable comfortable well equipped cabin!!! Definitely will stay here next trip! Great location for visiting Hill country, new Braunfels, San Antonio, wimberely, Blanco and so much more! Brandi, is an amazing owner, very responsive and you will see in the cabin offers all the luxury comforts!! Canyon lake has great food! Italian garden and Granny D’s!!! A nice grocery store Brookshire.. Highly recommend!! Great neighbors too!

It’s a darling little cabin with everything you might need. It was perfect for us 2 seniors in town to visit family. We didn’t cook anything, but it has everything you need if you choose to cook your meals. We appreciated ( my husband did as he is disabled) that the bathroom was equipped with a higher toilet and a grab bar. The only thing that was difficult for us was that the bed was overly soft for us and the ac was quite loud in the bedroom. All in all it was a very nice 3 days.

Our stay at Oak Hollow Cabin was Awesome!The cabin was very cozy and situated in a very peaceful and friendly lakeside community. It had all the amenities you could desire and even had abundant wildlife (deer) to watch in the evenings from the porch. Overall, 10 out of 10 rating!

Cute cozy cabin in peaceful neighborhood near the lake & boat ramp 23. Dark skies community; pitch black at night. Responsive host. Impressive attention to detail. More AC than we needed. Ceiling extra fans, blankets what appears to be a very adequate heater for winter. Comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. Bedside tables little rugs next to bed! Roll-away bed, iron, ironing board, hangers in closet. Mirror in bedroom so you don’t have to monopolize the bathroom getting dressed. Excellent hot water, water pressure, plenty of bath & kitchen towels. Suited for minimal cooking with a 2-burner cooktop small but effective countertop/high end “toaster” oven, big small skillet small pot, basic cutlery & cooking utensils. etc. 24 hour 7-11, basic grocery (Brookshire) & several good restaurants nearby. Full size frig/freezer, coffee pot (& grounds), Keurig (& cups), a French press AND an electric kettle. Variety of condiments provided. Bar & wine “tools.” Clean. Surprised to never see a bug inside. After all, it’s lakeside hill country with plenty of insects and wildlife outside. Nice porch/deck wrapped around the front. We saw the wild peacock and the deer are fun to watch, completely oblivious to the threat of humans. Drive with caution! Easy to unplug in this environment but if you need to work or are addicted to your devices, internet is good and the smart TV must be watched from in bed. Bring your logins & passwords. We never turned it on. All you need is you!

Quiet & Relaxing

Cabin was clean, cute, and comfortable. Very well maintained.There was ample wildlife and just a very relaxing atmosphere. access was simple. Will use again next time family comes to visit.

Quiet country setting

The Oak Hollow Cabin was perfect for 2 and had everything we needed. The cabin is located near Canyon Lake and all the attractions of the area but the neighborhood isolates the cabin from the tourist feel. We sat on the deck in the evening and watched the deer, saw 2 foxes, and the local peacock. New Braunfels is a quick drive away also.

Cabin was nice. Only complaint was there was a scorpion in the kitchen sink but I guess that comes with being in the country!

Fully stocked for a perfect getaway!

All was as advertised but it was the little extras throughout that made us feel very welcome and as special guests in a friend's home! We enjoyed a beautiful 2 days in nature and quiet amongst very kind and respectful neighbors! Anxious for a return trip!

Cozy!

The cabin was perfect for a weekend away with my husband for my birthday. We loved sitting outside, and the cabin was perfectly cozy. Loved seeing the deer in the morning and all the other animals! The AC unit in the bedroom rattles but other than that, it was perfect!

October get-a-way

Short trip. Access to so many attractions. Would like to return someday to do different day excursions around the area. From camping, tubing, to shopping and dining. This is an excellent central location from which to explore.

Very nice cabin

This is our second time staying with this cabin. I really love the cleanliness and the quietness in this place. And also kudos to Brandi the owner or I don’t know if she’s the property manager . But she is very helpful and attentive to all my questions and texting me back right away . Overall experience is 10. Will be back soon I recommend this cabin

My wife and I were incredibly impressed with the quaint, comfortable, and homey feel of this cabin. We truly loved the decor and western cowboy ambiance. We also enjoyed the surrounding area. The biggest regret we have it that we had no insight as to the severity of the drought that has affected Canyon Lake over the past two years. We were so excited to enjoy time doing water activities, only to realize there was no water anywhere near the cabin. Although Ms Brandi was super gracious with her time to help us find water activity opportunities, it was to limited avail as we went home a day early very disappointed.

Relaxing

We had a very minor issue with a red wasp and she was super responsive and had someone to take care of the issue immediately! The cabin was clean and peaceful, great neighborhood and the scenery was amazing!

Canyon Lake ?

We really enjoyed our quick stay at this cute cabin. The cabin was very clean with a lot of western themed decorations. Perfect for two people. It was also very quiet and relaxing. We only wish that we could have gone swimming in the lake but the water was too low.

Cute Getaway cabin.

Small decently affordable cabin near the lake. The property manager was very kind and accommodating. The air-conditioning in the main bedroom is extremely loud and difficult to sleep through, but I'm sure they will replace that soon. There are cute fawns to welcome you in the evening. The neighborhood is extremely quiet. A beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle.
