Resort Style Condo by the Beach with Heated Pool at Runaway Bay

Park your car when you stay at this bright and beachy condo because you can walk (or ride the free trolley!) to all the attractions you'll want to visit. A small family or friends will have a fun-filled vacation in this resort that offers a private access to one of Florida's best beaches along with a full assortment of fun activities within the resort.

You'll feel instantly at home when you enter this one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo overlooking the resort lagoon. The spacious living area keeps everyone connected whether they are preparing snacks in the kitchen, playing a game around the dining table or watching a movie on the flat screen TV. The comfortable couch makes out into a bed for two guests (children welcome!). The bedroom boasts a water view with king size bed, flat screen TV and en-suite bathroom. If you feel like enjoying your morning coffee outdoors, just step out on your screened-in lanai overlooking the lagoon, or better yet, walk just a few steps over to the beach for some early morning beachcombing. For meals, you have a wide range of delicious choices close by or if you'd like to dine in, you have a well-equipped kitchen with all stainless steel appliances where you can prepare your favorite recipes. There's also a picnic table and BBQ grill located directly in front of the condo in case you want to grill some burgers or that fish you hope to catch.

Runaway Bay is a 13 acre resort complex full of amenities for you and your family or friends to enjoy while on vacation. Resort amenities include: the largest heated pool on Anna Maria Island, a tennis court, shuffleboard, bocce, a fitness center, BBQ grills, kayak launch and a fishing pier. Close by the resort you'll find jet skiing rentals, boogie boarding, parasailing and more. There is also a free trolley that will take you all around the Island. Runaway Bay has a covered trolley stop located at the entrance to the resort.

Love AMI and Runaway Bay is a lovely place to stay. Met the owners and they were lovely and accommodating. I would consider replacing the patio chairs for something a little more comfortable and sturdy, maybe a bistro table as well. Lovely stay...

Great location on AMI

Very comfortable and homely. The condo had lots of decorative items that were appropriate for a beach holiday and enhanced the stay. Everything was there that we needed for a four week stay. The mattress was very comfortable but the bed base was quite loose and noisy. The blinds were somewhat damaged and a couple of slats were missing or damaged. There was an excellent washing machine and dryer which were very useful. The view was nice from the small private terrace and the pool was lovely with sun loungers round the edge. The description of this property was accurate. The complex was well maintained and we would definitely return.

Spent five weeks here and loved the property and location. Property was very comfortable and looks just like the pictures. Was a little surprised that the pool closed at 6:00 p.m.

Very cute condo. Functional layout. Nice decor. Could update the bathroom towels. Excellent location to the pool and beach. The dock on the inter coastal was very enjoyable. Other residents and guests were very cordial. Great location on the island for restaurants souvenir shopping.

We did not stay at this property.

When we arrived an upstairs neighbor informed us the pool was closed for renovation and the pathway to the beach was blocked and required a detour around another building. We are two 71 year olds that chose this condo for its location close to the pool and a short walk to the beach. No way! Neither was the current situation.

Wonderful stay in a homely condo in a great location

We stayed for 8 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location of the unit is incredibly close to the excellent outdoor pool area, around a 20 second walk away! The location of the complex, less than 5 minutes from the beach and with a trolley bus stop (a free service) right outside, was perfect for us too. For our evenings out we never needed to use our car. The condo was extremely well equipped (including all the beach stuff we could possibly need), very clean and very comfortable. Also a nice little spot at the back of the condo, next to water, where we could play cards and enjoy a quiet drink. Highly recommend.

Runaway Bay Condo week stay

Everything at condo was as described and shown in pictures. We were flying from Philadelphia. We would recommend owner purchase 2 new beach chairs that recline. Also would have played pickle ball on the court but no paddles were provided.
