Wombat Cottage is located a short drive to Albury town. It comprises of a fully equipped kitchen, 3 large bedrooms & a single room. There is an enclosed backyard, large undercover outdoor dining area & plenty of parking. You will feel at home with all the comforts you require during your stay, with access to the whole house.

During winter, there is gas central heating to keep the cottage cosy and warm and in the summer, there is air conditioning and ceiling fans to keep cool.

Perfect for families, couples, singles or professionals, with the bonus of having your family pet staying too.

Family wedding

6 adults and a 5 month old baby stayed for family wedding spread over the week. Great outdoor area. Ceiling fans in bedrooms was perfect. Airconditioning in kitchen meals area worked a treat. Stay was seamless. Would stay again without hesitation.

Lovely short stay with our dog

Wombat Cottage was perfect for our long weekend with our dog. The property was as described, clean and with everything we needed. Check in was easy and the hosts were very helpful. Perfect stay!

Great pace to stay

Very comfortable, well set-up and excellent information provided. Within minutes of the city centre. The back yard was great for the dogs, who loved exploring the new smells.Thank you, when next your way we will visit again.

Lovely clean house

We had a really nice stay at wombat cottage. It was great to be able to bring our dog with us. Very clean cute house with everything we needed and a nice well fenced yard.

Quaint, quiet and cozy

Clean, plenty of space, well maintained comfortable cottage that encourages serenity and well-being! Close to everything which helped keep us all at ease and happy to wander knowing the wombat cottage was awaiting our return; our home away from home.

Practical Christmas stay

Wombat Cottage is a great place for a family stay, especially if you want to bring your dog also. Everything is provided that you need, it was very clean and tidy and hosts Amanda and Dan made us feel welcome and were very accommodating to all queries. Comfy beds and the ceiling fans kept the place cool even on the warmer days. The back yard is very safe and secure for your dog.

As promised - First class for the inside presentation. Not a dust particle to be seen. Very cosy with fab underfloor heating. Amanda and Dan were very pleasant, and helpful. We would be very happy to have the opportunity to stay at Wombat Cottage again.

Wombat Cottage

This was a great cottage, roomy and warm and we stayed with pets as I was down for a competition weekend. It was clean and the hosts were fabulous but we had a few issues with things the cleaners hadn't done but it didn't impact the stay. Would highly recommend this cottage especially if travelling with pets. Better instructions required for the TV , it seems to be controlled by the wifi or internet and we couldn't find the normal channels so no tv for the length of our stay but probably should have contacted the owner. We will be back

Comfortable and convenient cottage

We had a very comfortable stay at Wombat cottage. The yard was excellent for our dogs and a great off leash dog park is just around the corner. The bed was comfortable and the traffic noise was not a problem as the shutter worked well. We struggled with getting the TV to stream and appreciated Amanda coming over with her son to help out. It was easy to get into the CBD and the nearby shopping centre.

Perfect family getaway

This house had everything we needed plenty of space, comfort, warmth, lovely shower, great yard space & enclosure for our dog. Easy to find, just out of the town, but close enough. Our hosts were fantastic . Highly recommended for families. Thanks again👍

Lovely cottage with easy access to town

The cottage provided everything a family needs for a weeks stay. Comfortable beds, kitchen set up was great and fitted the whole family in easily. Short trip to get to the main streets of Albury. Highly recommend for a family needing a base for a stay.

A pleasant stay

Amanda was great with communication and even offered early check in as cleaning was completed early. The place was like the pictures, warm, welcoming. Beautiful bathroom, toys for the kids to play with and it even had a Christmas tree up inside. Instructions were clear regarding checking in and wifi and the home even had a hair dryer available to use. The house was completely set up ready to go. Would stay again.

The house is dated but pretty. It needs some work in the pantry and flooring. There were dead flies on the floor which was not ideal with the small children. Also there was a chipped and cracked drinking glass in the cupboard for us to use. The television is outdated. Overall a good place to stay but the cleaning needs improvement.
