Excellent Location

This property is directly across the street from the beach. I have stayed in this building for the last 4 years and will continue to do so. The shared balcony is the best place on the beach to enjoy your morning coffee or the evening sunset while socializing with other guests.

Nice place

Actual place was nice, great area. I personally wouldn’t stay again because there is no parking. You park on street and it’s very difficult to find a place. If you are not bringing a car , great place. It’s clean and nice.

Awesome location unit needs some updating.

The unit was perfect for one or two people it was small but mighty. There was a little damage to the property unit that I noticed at check in. The unit was clean. They did not have extra toilet paper or trash bags and with the location of the unit that made it difficult to get more if you don't have a car. I reached out about wifi issues I was having the first day they never replied but I was able to remedy this myself. Overall I would stay again as the location is perfection!!

Great location and view, the room was not good

The bathroom had an open plug 1 ft from toilet. No door to bathroom. Very low water pressure. Room was not ready when we got there at 3:00. Towels and sheets threadbare. When I stripped the sheets off the bed the day we checked there was blood on the mattress pad. The picture is deceiving.

Location is great, unit very disappointing

As with other reviews, Location is great. Otherwise the unit was very disappointing. While ‘technically’ the listing was accurate, it is what they leave out of the listing that is what is important and most disappointing. Towels were provided (only 2 for each person for a week). The ‘jetted soaking tub’ was a monstrosity and, in my opinion, looked to be a germ and bacteria haven. There was hanging space in a closet. But a tall, plastic, shelving unit was also in the closet with items stored all on it, rendering any hanging space useless. In addition, there was no drawer space where you could place clothes, so you basically had to live out of your suitcase which had to be laid out on the floor. (As usual in Florida, there were Florida bugs so keep that in mind with your clothes lying in your suitcase on the floor) Suggestion: a small dresser could be added for a minimal investment from a yard sale. The only seating, other that the bed, were two metal stools at what looked like, a poorly crafted DIY bar. You had to sit or lay on the bed to watch tv. Suggestion: Space and comfort would be better served by tearing out the bar and adding a small table and chair set, that could be purchased, again, for next to nothing at any yard sale. My opinion is that most all these issues have been repeated in other reviews, but the owners have not made any concession to improve the comfort of the renters, even at the small cost of the few items suggested. Would not stay in this unit again or at any property from this host.

Amazing location, but the room was disgusting

We absolutely loved the LOCATION of this condo. It was perfect for a child free week away for our 17th anniversary, but the location is the only positive it had going for it. We will most definitely not be booking this specific room again. The room was disgusting. There was hair all over the sink, the comforter had several dirty spots on it, and the curtains had some kind of grossness on both sides. I opened the cabinet to a mug covered in coffee stains that could easily be washed off. We never used any of the dishes or the kitchen equipment. I reported the issues to the property manager, and there was no quick response. We went two nights without receiving clean bedding. Thankfully I had a throw blanket in my vehicle we used. After I sent a text on the evening of our second day asking about clean bedding I was told that a clean comforter had been left at out door earlier that morning. No communication had been attempted to let me know it was there. I was told “I had someone by there today and no one was there. We don’t like entering units due to people not like it happening. I have have one placed in a bag and just left at the door”. We were in and out of our condo several times that day, and the comforter had been left at the wrong unit. I did not even receive a message to let me know they would be bringing anything by, or that something had been left. When I let the property manger know this i received once again no response. We woke up the third morning to a blanket being left in a trash bag at out door, with once again no message or call to tell us it was being left. The unit is severely run down. The jet tub had a Gatorade bottle taped to the faucet with duct tape, and there were several areas of duct tape on the bottom as well as having a spatula taped down. No clue what was going on there. Even if the tub had been working I doubt we would’ve used it. The jets seemed to be covered in dirt and build up. Poor management and poor cleaning. Like I said, the only thing this place had going for it was the location.

Ready for a Refresh and Cleaning

The location of this property is superb. Unfortunately this property has had no updates in probably decades. It definitely needs to be updated and refreshed! Also, whoever cleans this unit has not been on top of their job. Dishes in the cupboard were dirty and there was no dish soap to wash them, floors were sandy when we arrived, I dropped something on floor and had to look under the bed…… it was disgusting, curtains in bathroom are threadbare (and this looks into other doorways), wires hanging everywhere. Bed was very uncomfortable. Just dark and gloomy.

Dirty Den

The bed had 2 pillows with cases, fitted and flat sheet on bare mattress (no protector or pad) and a spread, no blanket. There were 2 pillows (no cases) in closet as well as a blanket wadded up on the floor with a beach chair on top of it. Bathroom light flickered and it was dark. The tub had standing murky water and was not clean. Shower tile was slimy when wet and needed to be scrubbed as well as dark grout from mildew. Air conditioner flashed filter and would stop running to which you had to restart. Front panel was dirty. Smelled like fish periodically. The dirty small fan found in the closet and cracking open the windows seemed to help. Toilet liked to backup but never overflowed. You’d flush at night and in the morning it would return. TV was underwhelming. We didn’t stay the third night. The place is a great location with a super upper deck. It needs an overhaul and a deep clean. I did take photos. Take out that bar divider and put in a table with chairs. The jet tub needs to be gone. It’s a waste of good space. I would not recommend this unit or stay there again.

Super small/good location/poor instructions

Overall we enjoyed our stay because of the location and ease of walking to restaurants. We were surprised we had no chairs/sofa/table but made use of the adjoining patio for using laptop and eating meals. Instructions for check-in were unclear; written instructions said we have a parking spot/pass but upon arriving found out we just park in city spots (without a fee). That's fine - it was just embarrassing wandering around! Probably the biggest negative was NO DOOR to the bathroom that is basically part of the studio apt. There was a curtain that didn't even reach the floor by at least a foot. The AC unit was odd; we couldn't adjust the temp cool enough at night and had to turn it off completely during the day as it was freezing in the bathroom. On the plus side, the unit was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Do not stay in this unit!

Unit is not as pictured. It is dark, dingy and lacks basic comforts. Linens were dirty. If I hadn’t brought a backup set we would not have been able to stay. Unit was lit by one high floor lamp and a small Bell jar hanging lamp. TV worked on one channel and sometime not at all. Mattress sunk in middle. There was no place to rest our suitcases or hang clothing. Missing: headboard, blanket, nightstands, reading lamps, table (bar is narrow), chair or couch. The only place to sit was two high, metal, backless stools. Air conditioner is in bathroom, not bedroom. Bedroom is ventilated by small oscillating fan on shelf. There is no door on bathroom. Unit is dominated by large dirty jacuzzi tube surrounded by mirrors. We left early because it was so uncomfortable. Only good thing was location to beach.

Location!

This little (and I mean little lol) condo was perfect for us. There's no bathroom door so make sure you're comfortable with anyone you're traveling with. Can't beat the location. It was amazing!! Overall great trip and will come back many times.

Perfect location!

We've stayed at this complex before in a different unit and you can't beat the location. We just walked right across the street to the beach and have a parking pass to park right there. This unit is on the ground floor which is nice for that. You can walk to good food and shops. There is a balcony overlooking the beach that everyone shares but plenty of space for everyone and wonderful views at sunset. The unit was small but had everything we needed. The refrigerator is a miniature one but had plenty of room for our drinks and even a small freezer section. There are minimal dishes/glasses, but the kitchen has the basics. The bathroom is roomy and has a huge jetted tub. We didn't use the tub so it was more of a waste of space for us. It looked very nice though and everything was clean. There is limited storage in the unit. There is one closet but the shelves are already full with supplies. There are no drawers or shelves that you can use. No night stands to put things on next to the bed. We used the eat-in bar to put a lot of our stuff on and lived out of our suitcases. Bed was comfy. Bring toilet paper! Only one roll was provided, but I think that's typical in COVID times. Overall, we enjoyed it and would do it again!
