Please note: This property is in a quiet residential community and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance violation rule of 1 strike. Simply respect your neighbors, keep the noise down and no parties.

The Waters Edge HOA does not allow any pets of any kind, including service dogs, emotional support animals or any other documented pet.

Welcome to 93 Waters Edge! This townhome is located in the Riverfront community of Waters Edge that is designed with a nod to Historic Charleston colors and charm. Guests can enjoy a little bit of everything, from a communal swimming pool and fishing pier, to a 10-minute walk (3 min golf cart ride) to the beach or take a 20 minute car ride to Historic Downtown Charleston.

This beautiful 3 bed/3 bath townhome accommodates 6 guests and features hardwood floors throughout the entire house. The kitchen is complete with lovely granite countertops, a custom backsplash, and is fully stocked with all kitchen essentials. The main area offers an open concept kitchen/dining and living room with plenty of seating and opens onto a screened in porch with river views. Located upstairs, the master suite housing a king-sized bed, includes a private Riverview deck with lounge chairs. Across the hall you will find a guestroom complete with a queen bed and the third queen bedroom is adjacent to the kitchen/living room area. Each of the 3 bedrooms have access to private bathrooms and include plenty of storage space.

Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historic exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25 - minute car ride, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. There is something for everyone here. We promise you will Folly in love with this beautiful island!

Notes
During your stay you will enjoy the following amenities: complimentary Wi-Fi, AC/Heat, washer and dryer, standard coffee maker, ironing board, all linens & towels (except beach towels). Beach equipment is not provided, but if on the property you are welcome to use it, and an outdoor shower.
Contactless Check-In: This home is equipped with a Keyless entry system and a door code will be provided prior to your arrival date.
Parking is provided for 2 standard size vehicles (parking inside the garage). Garage opening is 7' tall and 9' wide
The Community pool is open April-October (exact dates can vary depending on weather) and the fishing dock is open year round.
No pets allowed. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are not allowed in properties unless specifically designated in writing as “pets considered” and approved by our office.
This is a non-smoking property.
No grills, food trucks, or catering services that have to set up outside for service or preparation are permitted per HOA guidelines.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJ's, etc. are prohibited.
Check-in time: 4PM; Check-out time: 10AM.
Pool Hours: 10 am to 10 pm
50% Deposit required at the time of booking, the remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to check-in.
You must be at least 25 years old to rent this property.

The HOA has created a mandatory quarterly Pest Control service schedule. Please note that if you a current guests during the service, you must allow them access to the property to avoid a fine from the HOA. If you are not at the property, we will have to give them access to complete the service. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will do our best to give advance warning to all guests as the HOA alerts us of the service times or any changes.

This will help avoid any violations with the FB police that can result in fines and revoke the homeowner's business license.

Suppose the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property. In that case, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately without a refund. However, we are committed to your and our community's comfort, so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.

Located in fun Folly Beach Area

Our family had a great time in the Folly Beach area and the rental was exactly what we needed for a family of 5. The communication along the way is great and always knew what we needed to do.

More security needed!

On our second night in the condo, a man broke into the condo at 1am. He walked into the bedroom where we were sleeping apparently thinking that no one was there. He ran downstairs and left. I called the police. Our property manager insisted that no one could possibly access the rental, but at least 6 other parties (like the cleaners, the laundry service, the manager and office personnel) know the entry codes to all the rentals. Security systems need to be improved. The garage has a rear door that looks like it has been proed open before!

From Scotland and outer first time in this area. We were recommended folly beach by locals we met in Charleston and they were spot on. We really enjoyed our time here and will be recommending it to friends back home.

Nice but needs some updates

The property was clean with lots of space but in need of updates. Furniture appears to be hand-me-downs. The master bed is terrible and needs replaced ASAP. Our other family member complained of discomfort in the bed on the first floor. The property manager provided helpful communication and responds quickly to questions and concerns.

What a beautiful property with the gentle marshes behind it! An egret greeted us everyday. It was so comfortable and beautiful, close to everything. Our family enjoyed it very much plus we got to see dolphins!

Fun in Folly

The location of this venue is ideal. It is a short 2 block walk to the beach and a beach access. And a few block walk to the center of town. The unit is well maintained and the kitchen is well stocked. The only draw back was the king mattress in the main bedroom has seen better days. Could use an upgrade.

Company retreat

We rented a group of condos at Waters Edge for a company retreat. The staff found the condos overall clean and well stocked with linens, towels, and other supplies. Everyone had a private space to retreat to after our meetings. While we had a few hiccups regarding parking large trucks and a plumbing issue in one condo, the issues were handled quickly and professionally. While we enjoyed our stay, we found the condo to be more dated than most of the rentals we've used in the past. The paint and furniture were all rather dated and in need of freshening. The kitchen was not well appointed with most dishes mismatched and having chips. There were also very few drinking glasses and an array of silverware. We did think the property was very clean upon arrival. We would not recommend this rental to friends or family. Response from MyOceanRental: Thank you for your review. There was definitely some dust behind doors and in corners. There were coffee grounds in the silver coffee pot, and hair in the basket where coffee would go when I went to make coffee the first morning. I ran both through the dishwasher. Over all pretty clean. I think we were in the home during a transition, as there were no towel racks in any of the bathrooms. We had to hang towels in the closets or over the curtain rod in the shower to dry. MyOceanRental: Thank you for your review and feedback, it is much appreciated! Yes, you are correct, this property is in transition and we are not actually managing it as of yet, just aiding in the transition process. We have brought the issues to the owner's attention so that this can be resolved expediently. This home was so beautiful and perfect for those of us staying here. We loved the location and accessibility. The house had everything we needed and the patio was an added benefit. While on vacation we began planning our trip for next year!

Perfect Beach Getaway

This is our second year renting this property. We love the proximity to Folly, access to the pool, the cleanliness of the house and all of the accommodations. If you are looking for a place to stay while in Folly, look no further. We’ll be back again next year!
