Great place, really enjoyed the neighborhood and the pool. The house was very nice. There was a leak through the ceiling onto the kitchen counter whenever we took a shower which was a worry but easy enough to clean up. Very comfortable home. Lots of stairs. Communication with property management was slow but we managed.

This was an outstanding property and the perfect home-base for our time in Folly Beach. Communication with the host was outstanding, the house was immaculate, and the pool was a fantastic amenity for our 12 year-old. Anything we could want, including the beach, was within walking distance, but we enjoyed getting about on a golf cart, which I highly recommend.The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The shower in the main bedroom was fantastic. The kitchen had basically every tool you would need for your stay. Although the listing says there are no floats or toys for the pool there were several there on the property and we left the ones we purchased for our son as well. For those who sleep with fans, no need to bring those with you; each bedroom was equipped with one.The only thing I would make a note of is there are no window coverings on the main floor, other than one side window with a shade. This would be amazing for a beachfront property, however, this property is in a very quiet residential neighborhood. Not a dealbreaker for my family, but not expected. This certainly would not prevent me from booking this property in the future. All of the bedrooms have shades and curtains.This is the first time we have gone to the beach without renting a beachfront property and I have to say I didn’t miss it at all. We had several excursions and tours planned, so this was the perfect spot to come back to unwind and relax in. I already can’t wait to come back.

Loved this rental. The location was perfect - walkable to all the Folly Beach restaurants and a very easy & enjoyable walk to the beach (like 5-7 min). Lots of space to relax between the dining room, living room, and screened in porch. The shower in the bedroom was quirky. The pool was perfect for a mid-day cooling off when the beach felt too hot. We didn’t have a full understanding of the layout of the space so just want to make sure it’s clear to others — you pass through the loft area to access the two bedrooms. This is not a private space (or as ‘private’ of a space as any loft would provide). It wasn’t a problem just different than we expected.

Great place

The house is well appointed. All appliances worked well. The pool was a nice treat. easy walk to the main business road. Easy, less than 5 minutes, walk to the beach.I would stay again.

Loved it!

The property location was perfect between beach and downtown. We were able to cook in the spacious and well-stocked kit hen and grill. Newly enclosed porch is a great addition! And of course the pool was amazing!

Great Stay!

Such a fantastic stay for our girls weekend. The house was perfect with a very large deck which we spent most of the time on. One small issue that is not in the listing: you have to request in advance AND pay additional for the pool to be heated.

Beautiful house

I wish the pool heater would have been operational but I was warned beforehand that it wouldn’t be working, so no complaints. Beautiful home in a great location and extremely clean.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house is adorable and well appointed. Location was great easy access to the beach lots to do in the area. The only reason I gave this four instead of five stars is that we are two mature couples and the second bedroom and Upstairs bathroom were much smaller than the primary bedroom. This house would be perfect for families with children. And it was great for us, but I would just warn anyone about the discrepancy. We worked it out.

Great get away

The property is amazing! Management company was great. The only surprise was the twin beds were not really a bedroom. Instead it was sort of a landing with closets that you pass to get to the real bedrooms. This was a non-issue for us, but we did miss this detail in the description.

Wedding Week

My fiancée and I got married yesterday. I rented the property for my mother and I several days before so her and I could have some mother/daughter time before the craziness of wedding week ensued. The pool is what did it for us. We had evening beach walks and pool days. Great property. Thank you.

Pros: location, clean, spacious, kitchen had everything we needed, very comfortable bedsCons: absolutely no extras. No beach towels. No blankets. No beach accessories.Overall we absolutely loved our stay. The location is so perfect. We walked to the beach. Rented bikes and went everywhere. The only thing we would have liked to have was anything to help us go to the beach. Cooler/chairs/towels or something. Even to dry off after the pool you have to use the bath towels. Which is fine but if we would have had any more than four people may have been an issue. With all this being said we would return. Folly beach has been one of our favorite locations so far.

Overall - highly recommend this house! Our family had a nice time!Pros:- the Mgmt company is ON IT. I will start with their website in the future when we return to book through them. They are prompt, very communicative and handle any/all possible issues right away. A.- the “container pool” is so great for the kids and we all loved it. - LOCATION! It is so so well situated! - Great kitchen/living room and porch area.- beds are so comfy!Neutral:- absolutely no extras – which again was not promised from the start/clearly stated in the listing but many rentals do typically have some pool toys or beach items. We left a boogie board :) Neutral/negative:- we had a few minor issues that mgmt fixed right away or offered to and we declined (again - mgmt A)- the master room - the shower is literally right next to the bed. It’s shown in the photos but I didn’t realize HOW close it is and that there is no door. If you’re waking up in the middle of the night and groggy trying to get to the bathroom - you’re running into it. Also - most oddly - there is no where to put any soap or razor in the shower so you have to leave it on the floor here and in the powder room/main floor sink. - the “loft” is more a landing. You walk up the stairs and the beds are right there. My kids were scared to sleep in a bed overlooking the stairs. We also had to pass through their “loft area” to go to our rooms. I think updating the description may help this :)
