Very small. Very tight for 4. But nicely updated

No cable, which is odd. Cleanliness lacked, we left it cleaner than when we arrived. Old dangerous wall heaters. Other wise it’s fine. Below average for what I’d expect at Bella beach. Book directly through Meredith lodging for better quality.

Pretty good

The house was cute. Neighborhood was very nice. The kitchen was missing some things like measuring cups but we managed. The thing that put a ding in our stay was the electricity went out at 9am on our third day. Come to find out the owner evidently didn’t pay their power bill and it got shut off. Management company was able to contact owner and get it resolved quickly. But really? Not real pleased about that.

We rented this house and the floors were filthy and sand and dog hair all over the couch. The upstairs balcony door would not open. Took an hour to figure out the cable (or lack of) the master bed sheets were also covered in dog hair and the bed smelt like wet dog.

The place was trashed and in disrepair. There was spoiled milk in the fridge that made me gag just by opening the door, sheets everywhere, dirty dishes and a brown stain on the carpet the looked like poop. I tried calling the guest contact and it rang the first time i called then the next 2 straight to voice-mail. I called evolve and there response was we have to cancel your reservation!!!! Seriously we drove from California! Now we had to scramble to find a place to sleep at 6pm. This shouldn't even be on the site. I also spoke to the cleaner and she said the owner requested that she not clean the property anymore.

Dirtiest house I have ever stayed in!

When we arrived it was obvious that the house was not cleaned. They have a list asking you to pull linen and towels when you are finished. These were still in piles throughout the house. Trash was not emptied, dirty dishes in the sink, bathrooms were disgusting. The refrigerator had milk left in it that had been expired for a month. We attempted to contact the guest contact. They never returned any of our calls. We also tried the phone numbers posted on the outside of the building. No response. We spent the first 2 hours here cleaning up after other people. We also had to go to the store for items that should be included with a house (toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher soap, etc). The cleaning fee is ridiculous because they have no intention of having a cleaner come in. There are repairs needed. The bathroom sink was clogged with sand and nasty water. The stopper has broken off while the drain was closed(prior to our trip). I had to have someone get pliers so we could drain the sink! Pocket doors to the restroom don’t open and close correctly and master bed frame has a broken drawer. The yard has not been maintained and is not fully enclosed. I tried to BBQ hotdogs and propane ran out before hotdogs were done. Location is great. We were about a 5 minute walk to the beach. There was plenty of space for 8 people. I will never rent a property from Evolve again.

Great house! Great proximity to beach! Wonderful location! But - The house had obviously not been cleaned when we got there. Thrash wasn't emptied and had some insanitary items. Beds weren't dressed. The linen was still in the drier. The floor wasn't swept. The fridge water dispenser didn't work. The listing indicated a hot tub and grill. The hot didn't work. The water was filty and smelly. There was no grill.

Great stocked kitchen. Disappointed that the hot tub was not available for use. . Carpets need to be cleaned, but hey it's a beach house and we were there the end of the season. Love the location!

Not responsive

Most of the pocket doors did not operate properly. We pulled the handle off trying to close the bathroom door within the first 2 minutes. Can't wear shoes in the house, but get splinters from the floors. The garage isn't available. The blinds in the lower bedroom don't work. The garage light lights up the room all night. Couldn't get in the garage to turn it off. Emailed and called the contacts available with no answer. We love staying at Bella Beach, but won't rent from this place again. The hot tub water was green and not properly treated. House wasn't super clean. Something splashed on dining room ceiling. We definitely left it cleaner than we found it. They did have a baby seat and a baby gate that were helpful. Not impressed

Could be a nice rental

Yard, property and hot tub let the whole place down. Porches are rotting, back yard is awful and the hot tub should have been taken to the dump years ago. Hot tub was not operational upon arrival and after being repaired retained dirt, grass, floating pieces of deteriorating hot tub and off color water. The interior of the house was relatively clean.

Close to the beach

Everything was tastefully decorated and well-arranged. We loved that the beach was a 10-minute walk away. Because of the age and gender of the children, we brought an extra inflatable mattress that fit in one of bedrooms. The only thing l’d want that they didn’t have was a bigger yard— but we did have the beach.

Our happy place

All the comforts of home at the coast! Perfect location to beach walk or explore Depoe Bay and Lincoln City just minutes away. The hot tub was a lovely way to relax at the end of our days. The 6 of us had plenty of space in and outside of the house. We slept so well in the comfortable beds and the quiet neighborhood! My only complaint was it stated dog friendly in the description with a back yard. But unfortunately, it was not fully fenced in to keep our pup outside. We will definitely recommend this home to friends and family and we'll be back too!

Super vacation

The house was very nice for the 7 of us. The kitchen had plenty of cookware, which was a change from other vacation rentals we have stayed at.

We loved this place!

This was the perfect beach getaway. We had 7 adults in the house and it was just right. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the comfortable couch. It was a very easy short walk to a clean sandy beach. The flowers around the community were gorgeous and neighbors were so kind. We would absolutely recommend this location to a friend.

We had a wonderful time. If you are bringing little kids, would recommend to bring kid friendly eating utensils, bowls, cups, etc. because the house only had one kid bowl and plate. Also recommend to bring good cutting knives if you'll be cooking, because all they had were Ikea knives. Other than that, we would love to come back to this house!

Beach house

Biggest little beach house I’ve stayed at. It does look bigger online but the space was perfect for a group of friends. Hot tub was nice and relaxing, very close to the beach, and the kitchen was stocked with all utensils needed to cook a nice breakfast and dinner. Only complaint was the bathroom doors didn’t shut all the way seeing as they were sliding doors and the latches didn’t work which gave a sense of worry when using them to shower, etc but we made it through.

Quiet Neighborhood, Short Walk to Beach!

We have stayed in the Bella Beach neighborhood before and it's really lovely and quiet, a bit longer to drive to some of the places in Lincoln City but worth it. It's about a 5 minute walk down to the beach and there aren't very many stairs. Pros: This was a great property for a large family. We had 4 adults and 2 teenagers and the large sectional couch and dining room table were great for us. The fireplace in the living room was wonderful and really gave the house a cozy winter vibe. The beds are really comfortable and there were plenty of bathroom towels provided. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and cookware. The house and the hot tub were clean and ready for us when we arrived. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and we would stay here again. A huge perk was being able to bring our family dog with us (for a small fee) and we really enjoyed that. Cons: The hot tub would only heat up to 100 degrees. At first when we arrived it was only 86 degrees but we talked with the Vacasa support team via text and they helped us heat it up. We tried to reach back out to them about the hot tub only going up to 100 but they never got back to us. We think something may have been wrong with the temperature button on the hot tub, so hopefully they get that fixed. The bedroom above the garage had a weird smell, like something had been cleaned or recently painted, and we tried to air it out by opening the windows but it didn't ever go away. The bedroom on the main floor of the house had a heater that was not working. We also messaged the support team about this but they didn't respond. This wasn't a huge deal as we used the fireplace to heat the main floor but it still got pretty cold at night. It looked like someone had forgotten to clean the ceiling fan in the living room. It didn't bother us since the rest of the house was very clean, but if it had been summer we would have had to dust it off so we could use it. Something to note about the Bella Beach area in general: They are very strict on parking. I think this one says there is only room for 3 cars, and they really mean that. The houses are very close together and there is only street parking allowed in designated areas. Just something to be mindful of when booking in this area.

Just what we needed

The house in Depoe Bay was just what our family needed. The neighborhood was peaceful and a quick walk to the beach. The kids loved the bunk bed and playing in the hot tub while I cooked dinner. We couldn't get the television to work, but we didn't need it because we enjoyed putting together a puzzle. We can't wait to go back.

Great house in a nice neighborhood

Layout of the home works well, it is tastefully decorated in a nice newer development just outside of town. Short walk to beach access (look for the brick path between the condos), as well as a short drive to several other public beach access spots. Nearby is a thriftway grocery store, with Lincoln city or Depot bay within 5 minutes drive in either direction. Gracies sea hag in DB is worth looking into, they make a nice meal. We enjoyed the hot tub, warm gas fireplace and pre logged in netflix accounts (intentional or not? Lol). There is a "green space" out front of the house that other neighbors use for their dogs, but as we have a dog ourselves this was quite convenient and seemed to be kept clean. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this house again, we enjoyed our stay.
