The property manager was very unhelpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was happy with the location.
I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

We stayed at Island House Unit 34 from June 8 to June 15. Everything was wonderful except upon our arrival the toilet in the master bedroom didn’t work. The plumbers had to come twice. Then it rained terribly and there were two roof leaks in the smaller bedroom. We promptly called the office, and someone came and checked out and another person came and took pictures. Then on Thursday morning, my husband, who was sleeping in the smaller bedroom with the roof leaks, woke up covered in tiny bugs. We called the office and housekeeping came out with fresh linens and said he knew it was termites. After several calls to your office back and forth, your receptionist advised me that the pest control was out the day before and we would have to wait until Monday. We were checking out on Saturday, June 15th, so that wouldn’t work. According to your receptionist, the pest control told her to tell us that termites don’t bite so it shouldn’t be a problem. Really? I asked for compensation and your receptionist told me that I make the reservation with the Owners directly. Um no—I did not. I made them with Island House and signed a contract. Are you kidding me? Would you sleep with terminates in your bed? My husband slept on the not-so-comfortable couch, and we left the next day. I am still looking for a call back after seven calls to your office. I just left another message this afternoon upon our return home.
