Enjoyed our stay

Had a pleasant multiple week stay at this location. Loved the office room that allowed us to work remote. Good location. Very close to Bradenton, longboat key and Anna Maria island. The Fox mercantile is a fun coffee shop at the end of the street. Would stay at again!

This house was in the perfect location for us to enjoy Anna Maria island and the town of Cortez. Everything was as described. We had an excellent time exploring the area. Walking distance to all the great sea food restaurants. Can’t wait to get back.

Small quiet cottage

Check in instructions quick and easy to follow. Clean home. Comfortable beds. Nice area to eat outside on covered porch. Bonus: beach gear, chairs, umbrellas, towels provided. Quiet street and neighborhood. Can walk/bike across the bridge to the beaches.

Great for what we needed.

Nice house with a good location for what we needed: away from mid-city, but easy driving access to family and sites we wanted to visit. We saw friendly people on our morning neighborhood walks.Communication about the reservation was good, but I marked down communication because I am now getting spam emails from the company that manages this property.

Clean, quiet & convenient

Roy was an attentive host, bringing us towels the first day of our stay. It is less than a 30 minute walk over the bridge to the beach or Bridge Street, which we did often to avoid traffic. Very quiet street abutting the RV park. Convenient walking access to restaurants and bars nearby. House itself was very clean and had all the requisite amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be back if it fits our budget.

Perfect location!

This sweet house was the perfect location to walk across the bridge onto Anna Maria Island. While staying on AMI can be very pricey, this house was quite reasonable and didn’t lack anything that we needed. There is a very nice bar/restaurant just a block away where I was made SO welcome! It felt very much like a neighborhood. Ray, the owner, was responsive when I had a small issue/question and went out of his way to make sure that I was satisfied. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to get away for a long weekend! We will be back.

Overall positive experience

We entered the property no problem. Appeared clean and lovely. Close to everything for us. Only one problem. My teens stayed in the second bedroom and started noticing bug bites. I don’t want to accuse or assume anything, but the bites are in threes which could possibly be bed bugs. Just thought someone might want to look into it. My husband and I had no problems in the master bedroom. Thanks

1st time visit to Cortez

Layout of house was perfect. Enough room for everyone. Great place for visiting the 1st time in Cortez. Right by the bridge to Anna Marie Island. Everything close by,including restaurants and shop. We will visit again.

Easy access to Anna Maria Island

Very clean and well kept. Wonderful backyard patio area. Extremely comfortable and replete with a full kitchen. I'd recommend renting a bike when you get there and using that to get back and forth from Anna Maria Island. The island and the Cortez area are loaded with great places to eat and drink.

Quiet and peaceful stay a short drive from the beach

The neighborhood was quiet and it only took a 7 minutes to get to the beach. This house was well stocked with everything you need including beach chairs and cooler. Having one bathroom wasn't bad with four people. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The washer and dryer worked great. Any questions were answered quickly by the guest contact. Our little one enjoy the office and it's a perfect spot to work if you have to during vacation. If I had only one complaint it would be that all the beds including the sofas sleepers are extremely noisy and squeaky. We would totally stay here again!

Great location cute beach house

This property is a cute beach house. So close to Bradenton Beach! My wife and I never knew about this wonderful location. Bridge Street is a lot of fun. B.T.I. was a blast. ...live music great drinks and food. Definitely would stay here again!

Excellent location - fantastic service.

When we arrived, had problem with the smart TV. Owner came right over and showed us how to use it. The following day the K-Kup coffee maker gave out. They had it replaced that same afternoon. Contains everything you could need for a comfortable stay.

This place was very close to the island and very close to my location of work. The neighborhood was quiet and well taken care of. House was clean upon arrival and everything looked perfect. My only issues with said property was the bathroom drain in shower didn’t drain quickly, and you would end up with water up to your ankles by the end of your shower of standing water. With all this water, the tub became very slippery as there was no mat or grip at the bottom of the tub. (Would use caution if you are an older person, as I caught myself slipping more than once) Also, the laundry room fire detectors batteries where dying and it was a continuous beeping noise from that room. Lastly, for the amount of money one pays to rent this location - I was expecting a higher quality mattress (master room) bed you could legit feel the springs through the mattress. I was thankful I was alone so I could switch rooms and mattresses but just figured this should be considered when booking this location.
