-Beautiful 3-bedroom family cottage situated between Bayfield and Grand Bend off Highway 21
-The cottage has 2 Queen beds, and one double, it comfortably fits 6 guests
-There is a large deck with plenty of seating and outdoor living space
-Beautifal water view directly across the street to beach access
-Wifi and a smart TV for your stay
-There is also a play area for children in the back
- Other amenities include: outdoor shower, kayaks, blow up tubes, and a fire pit

Delightful retreat

Everything as described, very comfortable and thoughtfully provided for. Enjoyed the view, the surroundings, walks nearby and proximity by car to a diverse range of activities and shopping opportunities. Contact with property manager was easy and helpful. With many thanks from us all!

Mom’s 70th

The house was very comfortable and we enjoyed many movie nights on the comfy couches. The beach access is close, but not on the property - across the road to the right, behind other homes. The beach was nice but don’t forget your water shoes as once you go in the rocks are a bit sharp. Grand Bend was a pretty beach and the rocks were more rounded. The best beach we went to was Ipperwash beach. It was sandy all the way in. Overall, it was a very nice week away!

What a peaceful and lovely neighbourhood. Our family enjoyed spending time on the big patio. Our highlight was watching the beautiful sunset by the beach.

Excellent place!

Really nice location and cottage. Beautiful decks, the pics don't do them justice. I spent many hours reading on the front deck, enjoying the quiet. And the stars at night were spectacular! As our eyes adjusted to the dark we could see (what seemed like) thousands of stars above the lake. We watched a cool lightning storm over Lake Huron one night as well. We hung out on the beach (there was really only ever us there, which was cool too) and collected cool rocks, lol. Both Goderich and Bayfield have little town charm, and some of the most picturesque shopping areas I've ever seen. The Square, in Bayfield, is like a movie set, in the best way. Grand Bend is very close if you prefer more people on the beach. Trudy was an excellent and responsive host; we'd definitely return. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and was the perfect base for a relaxing time in one of the most beautiful areas in Ontario. Nice neighbours, too.

Our August Family Trip

Excellent Location close to the water. Great for watching the sunset. As a precaution, bring water shoes if you plan on swimming in the lake! It's very rocky! The amenities are great for kids! a jungle gym out back, lots of available toys etc! We didn't get to use to Kayak due to poor weather on the days of possibility but next time we definitely would. The interior was very clean, internet access was great and everything overall worked great. My only complain was the spring beds upset our necks and backs in one of the rooms, but we switched rooms and the matress was a little more firm!

Great time near Bayfield

We had a great time away at this cosy and very comfortable cottage. It is very well stocked and had absolutely everything we needed. The listing was very well represented. The water is high this year so the private beach was not accessible but the public beach is just a couple of kilometres down the road. We would definitely rent this again.

No surprises, except for the thoughtfully decorated space, comfortable beds, spacious and well equiped kitched and deck. Kids play structure was a popular spot although the kayacs never got wet. Highly recomended.

A great little cottage to spend with friends

The cottage was clean, bright, and yes quiet. Listening to the lake in the morning while having coffee was wonderful. The private beaches may not be as sandy as the public but practically having the lake to yourself is well worth the trade off. (Though the public beaches are only a short drive.) Loved our stay!

Great relaxing long weekend!

Arrived to a super clean and bright cottage with a great view of Lake Huron and the sunsets. Communication was excellent with the hostess and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly!

A home away from home, with a huge, beautiful, outdoor patio, and loads of yard space.

The cottage was decorated so well, it really felt like home (but more relaxing!). The living space has so many large windows so you can admire the view from inside. The patio is incredible! There's so much room and seating. The outdoor seating is really comfortable, as is the indoor seating. They thought about SO many things we could forget, such as; a first aid kit, bug spray, ketchup, coffee. They wrote out recommendations for activities & food nearby. They truly kept children in mind with all of the outdoor toys, indoor games, dvds, and the play structure out back. The small beach is so close, and it's covered in pretty smooth stones. We couldn't believe how gorgeous the sky and water was. Their garden is so lovely. They really put in a lot of work to make your stay enjoyable.

Quiet Getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Plenty of outdoor space to relax and the inside was cozy and clean. Great location to partake in day trips to the beach or explore local small towns. Host was quick to respond to any inquiries and the neighborhood was quiet and friendly.

Lovely cottage

Another great stay

This was our second time at this property and it was, again, fantastic. The large outdoor deck with different areas is beautiful and perfect for sipping coffee, reading, listening to the waves, eating a meal, doing a little remote work, or just having a conversation. The cottage itself is comfortable and has everything you need for a great stay, the beach is a very close walk, and Bayfield with its amenities and restaurants is just a quick drive away. We loved our stay and returned home refreshed!

Enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Great location, close to stores and nice restaurants.

The best part was sitting on the deck and listening to all the birds. We enjoyed being able to have a barbecue as well. Bayfield is a great place to visit for shopping as well as seeing the sunset down by the Marina. We came home feeling rested and relaxed.

Great stay.

We loved the cottage. It was a great size for myself and my friends. Each had its own room, and there was a huge backyard and very nice outdoor sitting area. The lake access was very close to the cottage. Gorgeous views of Lake Huron sunsets and evenings sitting out in the large deck. This place was perfectly located between Bayfield and Grand Bend. 10 min drive to St Josephs Beach. Will definitely recommend for future quests.

Fantastic experience!

This place had so many unexpected gems, we were so happily surprised when we arrived. It was great for kids - loads of space to play, a really quick walk to the beach, a spot for campfires, and the list goes on. It was also great for adults, lots of outdoor space to enjoy with a coffee or a book, A/C one day when needed, comfortable beds, good internet service for any required remote work, and a gorgeous setting that was also an easy drive to Bayfield and amenities. This location exceeded our expectations and we'd happily stay there again.
