There's a 70" TV in the living room, and all the bedrooms feature their own flat-screen TVs and Amazon Echo devices. Stream all of your favorite shows from Hulu, Netflix or Disney+! "Sunrise Shore" is located in one of Chincoteague Island's most popular waterfront residential communities - Oyster Bay I. Conveniently located to Maddox Blvd. (Beach Road) and downtown Chincoteague, yet far enough to escape the hustle & bustle. | | The main level of this home features the main living areas (kitchen, dining room, living room), a powder room, a pool shower bathroom ,and the master bathroom en suite. The upstairs features 2 more bedrooms, both with private balconies, and a full bathroom. The hot tub was advertised as a key amenity but wasn’t working during our stay — management did issue a partial refund, which we appreciated. Some areas of the house also felt like they needed attention: an upstairs sink that didn’t drain, soap dispensers that were empty or had an off smell, a dingy carpet, and a washing machine and refrigerator water dispenser that could use a good cleaning.The main floor is lovely — great windows, beautiful views, waterfront area, and a comfortable space. If the owners addressed some basics, this could be a really special stay.

We Loved Staying at Sunrise Shore ! The view from inside the Home is so much better then the pictures !! Our Family/Grandchildren had a Wonderful time in the Pool and the Jacuzzi is very much a Great Perk !

Great property close to natural attractions

This house was amazing! Lots of room to have private relaxation even though the house could fit an army. Close to the nature reserve but with enough amenities that we had just as much fun on rainy days.

Wonderful Stay at Sunrise Shore

Our family had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Shore. The house had a great location with beautiful views. The kitchen was well appointed and met all of needs. Our children really enjoyed the hot tub. There was plenty of room for our family of five. We hope to return someday soon!

Short trip but so much fun.

We enjoyed the space, many beds, windows nice size kitchen, large family area and hot tub. With all the beds it would have been nice to have one more full bathroom upstairs but we made it work. It was quiet and very enjoyable. We did have an ant problem but other than that the house and location was nice for our ladies weekend.

Amazing stay for a Sweet 16

I took my daugther, her 5 friends, and my sister-in-law on this girl's trip. The open very large kitchen and living room was amazing to gather and hang out. We could have easily fit 10 more people. The place is huge! We loved the windows and the view of the water. It was idyllic. It is probably even better when you can use the pool and outside area. I expected it to be cool or drafty with the high ceilings, but it was not in the least. I would recommend for large groups.

Relaxing weeklong getaway

I booked this place for me and a handful of my friends and family to round out our summer. We had a great time at the house. Having the bay, hot tub, and the pool within footsteps of each other was a blessing. We took the short drive to the beach a few days and had an amazing time eating and drinking in town. This is easily the nicest house in the area and certainly lives up to the photos and reviews. Everything was amazing except for the things out of our control, like the mosquitos and flies. Make sure you bring bug spray and fly traps when you come, you'll need it. Overall I would rent this house again in the future. We had such a memorable time.

Great house but needs some love

The house itself was awesome and accommodated our party of 14 comfortably. However, it was very obvious throughout the home that it has not been well taken care of by the owner. Paint is chipping everywhere and the bathtub leaks a lot during use. The location is gorgeous and made it worth while, but the quality of the home should match the price being charged. Regardless, we had a great time during our winter stay and really enjoyed the hot tub.

Perfect House for a Group

We had my bachelorette party at this property and it was PERFECT. The views and location are unbeatable and the hot tub, pool, and easy water access provided endless hours of fun. We also appreciated the multitude of beds and cots available as well as the plentiful sheets, towels, and bedding. The communication was effortless and easy and the team was very responsive to our needs. They even opened the pool earlier than their typical schedule. NOTE: if you're renting this in the spring or fall, check their pool schedule. We didn't realize they didn't usually open the pool until the following week. Thank you for an awesome weekend!

Has great potential

My son and I stayed for 4 days in May. The home is very large, great views, and furnished with basic necessities. We were not made aware that the pool and hot tub would be closed, and the new grill was still sitting in the box and not installed. Some of the main reasons for renting such a beautiful property is the grill, the pool, and the hot tub. My personal issue with the house is that there are alot of stairs and no handrails outside or inside. I don't recommend this for anyone with mobility issues. Great house for very large families and those who have all their own beach/water equipment/toys. Stunning views of sunrise and sunset. Gorgeous walkable neighborhood. This house could be great with some safety rails, a pair of bikes or kayaks, and an interior designer to give it some charm and character.

There are 3 bedrooms that offer privacy and all other beds are in common areas. The king bed in the main floor bedroom is only meant to be slept on, trust me. Do not let kids jump on or...you know. The kitchen and living room are great areas for entertaining and I don't think we were in want of any standard utensils or cookware.We will be back if available.

Amazing Views of the Eastern Shore

Obtaining the rental was pretty simple and the property views were AMAZING. Checking into the property difficult due to having to pick up keys (digital locks would be a help) and gaining entry into a pitch black house. There were no lights left on in or outside of the property. The master bedroom king bed slats were not installed approximately so we had to call for repairs. Also the plumbing girggled and sewage odor was noticeable when sitting outside on the deck. It has been three weeks and our deposit has not been released back to my credit card. I am an Eastern Shore native and have never experienced views that I enjoyed at Deep Hole! I was able to see the sunrise and the moon set at the same time. My family enjoyed the space inside and plan to return in the warmer months to enjoy the pool and crabbing from the waters edge. Hopefully repairs will be done before we return in the spring.

We appreciate your suggestions - you'll be happy to know that we are converting all of our rental homes to keyless entry and contactless check-in. No more having to come to the office to pick up keys! You'll also be happy to know that security deposits are no longer required - your booking automatically includes Accidental Damage Coverage at no additional cost. There was an unexpected and unavoidable septic issue this past season, however, that has been remedied and is no longer an issue. Beautiful!

We stayed for the Thanksgiving weekend - the house is beautiful, clean, and spacious! The views are spectacular. We loved the beach; we enjoyed watching the annual lighting of the Christmas tree on Main Street; and enjoyed visiting the Wallops Island Visitor Center.

The house is beautiful and has lovely surroundings. Made with an open floor plan, the natural light and the long windows give an open feel and offers very picturesque views! The internet was great, strong enough causing no drops in connectivity. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation. We wouldn’t change our visit for anything, despite the things I mentioned below! The rental company was extremely responsive! I have separately pointed out to the rental Company to fix little things, like, kitchen tap, shower heads, coffee maker, refrigerator crisper drawer, brass table in the living room, the upstairs room (above kitchen) mattress is broken from the middle etc. Among the many pluses, the house had the living room TV broken, pool wasn’t open, many other places and equipment in the house is showing wear and tear and needs care. Re the TV and the pool, this wasn’t communicated to us, so was disappointing!

October 2021 Stay

Generally the house was nice. The pool and hot tub were a definite plus with the kids. That being said, there are some maintenance issues; particularly with the plumbing and sewage. Standing grey water around septic tank was not good. Happens when everyone showers after the beach and laundry is run. Also, shelves are not secured to walls in kitchen and bath (basically, just mounted on the drywall). Curtains in a few strategic areas (upstairs bathroom) would be great. Finally, the beds were low quality foam variety. Good overall and if septic and some minor fixes are addressed (including the peeling paint), this place would be great.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the uniqueness of the house. Enjoyed the pool & hot tub along with the 3 balconies. Would definitely rent again. Just love the small town & friendliness of everyone.

Amazing vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing time at this rental. The location is perfect. The cleaning team was very professional and thorough. We had a few minor issues with the rental during the week, and the property management team was incredibly responsive, quickly and professionally resolving all of our concerns. There are a few minor areas where the house is in need of repair...peeling paint and plaster around showers, pool with cracking tile and cement chunks missing at the border, but nothing that kept us from enjoying the property overall. Can't wait to stay here again.
