You’ll love relaxing in the Living Area with Free Wifi, comfy furnishings, and Flat Screen Smart TV after a fun-filled day searching for our famous Wild Ponies at Assateague National Seashore. We love the colors of sand and sea, and the bamboo flooring makes it so light, bright, and open. Just off the Living Area is a nook we like to call the Sunroom, as it has a wall of windows to the water, and comfy chairs perfect for sinking into with a good book. Our favorite place to hang out at Bird of Paradise, however, is hands down the awesome Screened Porch that lines the back of the house! With lots of seating and gorgeous views, you’ll love beginning your day here and watching Herons, Eagles, and Egrets fish for their morning meal - there’s nothing like it! And if pond-gazing isn’t enough for you, grab one of the two kayaks provided, and go for a paddle in the pond!

The Chef in your family will love how easy breezy mealtime is in the well-stocked Kitchen with beachy white cabinetry, stainless appliances, and tons of countertop space. Whip up family meals and dine at the Breakfast Bar, or in the Sunroom. Not one to cook on vacation? You’re just 5 minutes away from some great dining options!

Bird of Paradise is perfect for one large family, or for two families traveling together. Bedroom 1 is the Primary Bedroom, and is located on the 1st Floor. With a luxurious King Bed, Flat Screen TV, and a Sitting Area, it promises to be a restful retreat. The Attached Full Bath has a Double Vanity and Walk-in Shower. The convenient 1st floor Laundry Room is right next door, as well as a Half Bath.

Wandering upstairs, you’ll find 3 more Bedrooms and 2 more Bathrooms - so much space! Bedroom 2 is decked out in nautical navy and crisp white, and has a Queen Bed and Flat Screen TV. This room also has an Attached Full Bath with a Tub/Shower Combo, making it a Junior Primary Suite. Bedroom 3 is just across the hall, and adorned in beachy bright colors and has a Full Bed. Finally, Bedroom 4 has another comfy Queen and tasteful coastal decor. A 2nd Full Bath with Tub/Shared Combo in the hall is shared.

As if the inside of Bird of Paradise isn’t enough, just wait until you feast your eyes on the views and outdoor living! The enclosed yard offers a safe and inviting space for outdoor fun, while the pond-front setting creates a peaceful backdrop for your stay. Whether you like to paddle board, fish, or kayak, it’s such a serene location for all! And of course, you’re just around the corner from the Community Boat Launch if you’d like to bring the boat, or use your water toys in the bay and canals!
