Everything was great. House was super clean, laundry machines worked great , beds super comfortable and bathrooms were clean. The dock in the backyard was perfect.

Fishing weekend

Great location close to ramp and restaurants. Place is nice and open, very clean. Fit 2 boats at the dock and it’s a pretty short run compared to being up closer to the highway. Place was great for our party

We had a wonderful time. Thank you for everything and the extra coffee. We brought coffee but for a coffee maker not a Keurg. We all enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful two nights. Beautiful house. Clean and fresh. Beds were extremely comfortable. Linens and towels were soft. Large couch that fit 6 of us. Outside, It was easy docking our 24’ boat. Used the grill and black stone. Great all around. Would definitely go back.

Wonderful weekend in Sassa!!

The house was very clean and just like the photos. Easy to dock the boat overnight. Kitchen had everything you would need. We even got extra coffee pods. My only suggestion would be to change your description of the coffee maker so individuals know to bring Kcups. Thank you for your hospitality!

Beautiful home & spot

We loved the comfort of the house and the back yard except there wasn’t a lower spot to put paddle board in really that would be nice to have… the master shower the drain was clogged and even a 10 min shower started to overflow shower it wasn’t draining fast enough bc of the clogged drain. Everything was pretty clean except the master bath. We loved the decor and the outside hose and chairs. We loved the big pario table. Some suitcase stands would be great. And labels on the lights. It was very frustrating trying to figure out a few lights. Aside from these things and the major frustration for an anything but smooth check in process we’d definitely stay here again which we don’t say often. Very thankful.

From the Owner: “Sorry about the bath drain! The house was recently remodeled, and you were only our second guests. The new drain still had a screen left in from the installation that the plumber had forgotten to remove. They’ve since come out and taken care of it, so it drains perfectly now. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay overall, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime. Thank you!”

Nice house, but not clean

Nice house, open layout, on canal w boathouse. We used the grill, kayaks and enjoyed the swing and sunroom. But was not clean. Fridge/ cabinets were full of half empty food- called Megan about it when we arrived and no space to put our groceries. She was polite, explained she had left the items in case a future renter needed them. Much of it was expired or nearly empty, though. She allowed me to throw it out. Then discovered fridge/ freezer w spilled food, debris, which we had to clean. Microwave w red sauce and thick layer of butter and cleaned it. Window to sunroom and outside covered with dog slobber, which we cleaned the next morning. Mold on master bath window and gaskets of frig. I have photos if needed. Would like to have the cleaning fee refunded since it was not really done. We have not had an experience like this before w a VRBO property.

While we've never had an issue in the past, we're so sorry to hear of your concerns. We've passed along your feedback to our cleaning team to ensure this doesn't happen in the future. Celebrating 50th Anniversary

The house is beautiful, very clean and spacious. We enjoyed eating outside in the patio and watching the bird and we even saws a gorgeous hawk. The beds very comfortable and the house is very well situated and close to everything we wanted to see. We also enjoyed eating at the local restaurant and the food was delicious. We had a very relaxing and great time and would love to have stayed longer. We thank David for his wonderful hospitality.

Great location

We had a great time at this house. Loved the porch area. Megan was so nice to us. It was quiet being on the canal of water. And we would have loved bringing a boat ! The area is wonderfully peaceful and wooded. The Chassahowitzka salt marsh trail is just a short walk down the road with a beautiful view from a tower and at the end of the road is a boat ramp where we took beautiful sunset pictures of the river.

Peaceful retreat

We enjoyed the property very much! Nicely decorated, well maintained, and comfortable quarters. Thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and canal view. Was in a great location for our excursions on the Rainbow river and the three sisters springs.

Great Weekend Getaway

We rented this house for a weekend getaway to enjoy fishing and scalloping. As soon as we walked inside it felt like the house was brand new. A beautiful home complete with a fully furnished kitchen, spacious indoors and a fire pit in the back. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet weekend in Homosassa!
