This secluded ranch on beautifully landscaped grounds borders a nature preserve with hiking trails, is 2 miles to Brewster beaches, 1 mile to bike trail and the center of town - a perfect place to access all the Cape has to offer. The home has a new kitchen, air conditioning controlled in each bedroom, hardwood floors, master suite, and a spacious deck with gas fire table and grill. You will feel you have entered your own special world. Wireless internet, TV, outdoor shower all contribute to the ultimate Cape vacation. The owner lives in a private basement walk-out apartment with totally separate access. This house rents only weekly Saturday to Saturday or multiple weeks. Reviews will indicate that my presence is unobtrusive and helpful. I am away much of the summer.
We made a last-minute booking on Cheryl's property for the 4th of July week and had a lovely time. The Brewster location is central to everything and the home is secluded enough for true privacy and relaxation. Cheryl provided terrific guidance on local attractions and was very responsive to questions. Highly recommended.
Everything about the property was as advertised which I always appreciate. Extremely quiet neighborhood, kids could ride their bikes unsupervised. Would return again.
This was our second year at the property. We really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, and the place is comfortable, clean and located in a very quite neighborhood just a few miles from the center of Brewster and the bike path. The owner, Cheryl, was readily available and very helpful. We plan to rent it again in the future.
Great location within the cape and the neighborhood. I booked Cheryl's place again because the privacy and quiet is so appreciated. We were able to bike to the rail trail and access multiple beaches. Cheryl was responsive to my questions and a great host.
My family of 5 had a lovely time here. Cheryl was very accommodating. Left nice little touches to welcome us. The house was a nice size for us had plenty of room. House is at the of dead end road. Neighborhood was calm. We were able to ride our bikes to the rail trail (though there was 1 pretty busy traffic rd) and to not far to drive to the beaches. My kids loved the propane fire pit on the back deck and all the games to chose from! I liked I could do a load of laundry and the ice maker in the fridge! My hubby liked the grill and we all enjoyed eating alfresco!
Thank you Cheryl for a lovely stay!
We had a fabulous time in Cherylâs cottage, surrounded by woods. It is well equipped, comfortable and in a great location. The previous party hadnât cleaned the barbecue but otherwise it was spotless. Would recommend.
Cheryl's house was perfect for us: great location, clean, confortable and very well equipped. The kitchen has all you need to eat at home and the AC in the bedrooms were efficient and silent. I can confirm that Cheryl's presence was very discrete and her suggestions were useful. The neighborhood is really quiet. We particularly liked the fact that we could easily reach the Cape Cod Bike Trail on our bikes. The best house we rented in Cape Cod to date.
1st night we arrived and there were 2 strange cars parked directly in front of the house. Then we heard some noises and walked downstairs to the basement and the washing machine was mysteriously running. and we heard some noise from a room next door and there's someone down there! iIts very creepy that someone is living downstairs in the basement, right below the master bedroom. Sharing a washer and dryer and having to take someone's laundry out of the dryer when they're done should not be part of a VRBO vacation rental. . It's a Cheap Trick online to say that the owner doesn't live there all the time. I bet she was there for everyone's rental week. Just a bad situation all around. Sharing a house you rented with someone living below seemed very creepy intrusive, and deceptive..
We went out every day, for the day and never came back until 10pm. It didnt feel like a home away from home at all.
We tried to turn on the televisions and find out there are no channels at all, not even local as written, only Roku .Hey, once we arrived, and found out we would having extra company for the week, we realized that this place was misrepresented and way overpriced . The owner should surely provide basic cable tV . It's not up to them to pass judgement, or decide...as they wrote." No one should be watching tv on vacation. " Well, no one should list a house thats not really a private house, and feels like the Notel Motel, and doesnt come with the bare minimum of necessities. If we want to or not want to watch television its our choice.. Also there are no televisions in the master and other main bedrooms. We were there as 2 couples and no television in each bedroom when we retire to our rooms was not very comfortable for a week. Would not recommend this for couples at all. It was clean, and with a redone kitchen. But still would not recommend this for anyone, single, couples or families. We were ripped off at that price point for sure, and will never use VRBO again. They dont screen their properties or owners very well, if at all.
Cheryl's place was superb. We really enjoyed the outdoor shower, deck, fire table, modern appliances, and provided coffee. She had everything we needed and more. The individual air conditioners in every bedroom were a plus that allowed for everyone to sleep at their own comfort, with or without A/C. The location provided both the quick access to everywhere we wanted to go, and the quiet seclusion for a restful sleep. Cheryl was quick to answer all of my questions and we truly barely knew when or if she was on-site. I would definitely rent her place again.
6 of us (adults) stayed here for a week during July and loved the location. It was a great place to sleep and get clean after days at the beach. The only downside was that there was no AC in the kitchen and living room. But the AC in the bedrooms worked great. Loved the outdoor shower and the indoor decorations. Definitely recommend to others.
This house was spotless, very well equipped, comfortable, private and in a very quiet neighborhood at an end of a cul-de-sac. A very relaxing place to stay. Location is convenient to the Brewster Beaches. We really enjoyed staying here. Thanks, Cheryl.
A great location for a quiet and peaceful getaway!
We spent a week away with adult family in this comfortable, charming, clean, and serene home! The updated kitchen was the so well stocked which made it easy to cook many of our meals there and enjoy them together at the large kitchen table or out back on the spacious deck. We loved the proximity to the bike trail and the quick drive to the lovely bay beach. The owner Cheryl was quick to answer any questions we had made our stay a comfortable one.
We loved staying at Cheryl's place! There is a nice deck overlooking a wooded reservation area, looks beautiful especially at night, with the lights on and a gas fireplace lit up. Spacious rooms, great kitchen equipped with everything you need. Close to Breakwater beach, bike trail, Brewster General Store (loved it!). We really enjoyed this place!!! Thank you, Cheryl!
Cherylâs house was just as described. Very clean, quiet location, near CCRT and many ponds & beaches. From the sheets on the bed for us, clean towels awaiting our use to night lights in the bathrooms, the house was easy and comfortable. Wonderful, new outdoor shower, outdoor fire pit on the deck & use of the garage for our bikes etc, we highly enjoyed our 2 week stay!
We spent a week at this property, 4 people with 2 kids. The house is a ranch style, recently gut renovated, clean, modern with a nice deck and all bells and whistles. The location is absolutely great, 5-10 mins driving to all Brewster beaches and 15 min from Orleans famous Skaket beach. It also very close to many Brewster shacks and gift/ice cream shops. Brewster does not have a down town, but we love its Main Street with shops and restaurants/shacks.
The property owner (Cheryl) lives in a separate zone of the basement, she has been lovely with giving us access to the basement for laundry and a bunch of toys that completely changed the kids vacation! She also allowed us to use her beach toys, a lobster pot and âcape cod monopolyâ, on top of the many board games and puzzles she has in the basement.
The kids didnât want to go back home from âthe new houseâ, this is how the called it (including the 2 year old).
Bonus point on the guide that Cheryl left us on the best place to eat or what to do on the Cape (go to Cobieâs! Our favorite shack).
We will definitely go back!
Thanks Cheryl!
This property was perfect for our group, which included 2 adults and 4 kids ages 3-9. The location was great! It was very private, as it was surrounded by beautiful trees and is located at the end of the street, yet it was only a five minute drive to the beach. The home was extremely clean and comfortable, and Cheryl was very hospitable, too. Overall, we had a great experience!
I fell in love with this property the first time I saw it - with it's truly unique setting. I've rented many properties through various sites and always wanted to be able to offer my own. I'm a musician - and we need to be fed by beauty and nature. There is a Sonos port and DVD player to play your music.
The Cape has always been special for my family and I have worked professionally with musicians on the Cape. I have put a lot of love and hard work into this home - I think it shows in the pictures.
There is something so peaceful about this property - you feel you have stepped into your own private retreat. Enjoy cooking in the completely setup kitchen. Step out onto the deck and enjoy gazing into the woods. Summer should be spent in such pursuits. In the evening, enjoy a fire in the fire table - as you talk into the night, the stars are easy to see with no cities nearby. Sleep well even on the hottest nights with your individually controlled mini split.
