We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that the location, cleanliness, and porch helped make your Northern Michigan getaway a great experience. Being just steps from downtown Charlevoix, Pointes North Inn truly offers one of the most convenient spots in town—easy walking access to local shops, restaurants, beautiful beaches, and the iconic drawbridge. We’re thrilled you were able to make the most of that prime location. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear you found the location convenient and enjoyed the friendliness of the local community, along with the nearby stores. Northern Michigan’s small-town charm is truly one of its highlights, and we’re pleased that aspect of your stay stood out. That said, we are very sorry to learn about the issues you encountered with the cleanliness and maintenance of the unit. Finding slept-in sheets on the sofa bed is unacceptable, and we apologize that this was overlooked prior to your arrival. Our housekeeping team will be reminded of the importance of thoroughly checking and refreshing all bedding, including sofa sleepers, before each guest’s stay to prevent this from happening again. We also appreciate you noting the slow drainage in the sink and shower. While sometimes this can be due to buildup in the drain lines, it’s something our maintenance team can and should address promptly. We’ll ensure they inspect and resolve this so future guests enjoy fully functioning facilities. Your feedback is valuable and will be shared directly with our cleaning and maintenance teams so we can correct these issues.
