Cove Mountain Lodge All One Level with Easy Access & Handicap Friendly!

Cove Mountain Lodge is the perfect retreat for family and friends... even friends with RVs! Easy Access right on the main HWY 321 that runs through Wears Valley. Wide paved flat parking area perfect for motorcycles, sports cars, and trailers and is Handicap Friendly (not fully handicap compliant) This Lodge features all one level with NO Steps to gain entry through the front door. All doorways inside and out have a minimum clearance of 33". One bathroom has a step in shower along with a roll-under sink. All 4 bedrooms have King size beds and are fully decorated to give you the full Smoky Mountain feel.

The side paved area is set up for a camper to plug into the 30/50amp hookup along with sewer and water. If you have more than 1 camper we have a 41 site campground located behind the lodge within walking distance!

Lodge at Pigeon Forge

House was one level which was great for kids, close to town but yet quiet around the house! No propane for the grill, and shower needs to be fixed, other than that is was a great place for the family and we look forward to visiting again.

Spacious and cute

Property was spacious with all the basic necessities. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We had a minor issue with the power being out, when we arrived. Host was quick to get the problem taken care of and offered to move us, if the problem continued. Only negative would be that you are close to a main road and can hear the traffic. We enjoyed our stay.

View in the Smokies

Gorgeous Mountain View’s with comfortable beds and lots of space. We bought a corn hole game and used the outdoor spaces too. The pool in the listing is a public pool and was too busy for our liking. The hot tub was a nice surprise. We also had to purchase a bigger pan to cook for our group but other than that really liked being far enough away from the busy strip to enjoy the view and scenery with also being close enough to go to shows when we wanted.

August 2021 Stay

Overall our stay was great! Cabin could use a little work, flooring is missing in pieces and sticking up. Our daughter cut her toe on one of them. Deck boards are the same - needs some work. We had issues with the stove not working completely but managed. The beds were clean and very comfortable. It was a good centralized location. The access to the pool was great. We heard no traffic and the church music was very brief a couple times a day, it was nothing bothersome! We can't wait to come back! We had 11 in our party and everyone enjoyed our stay!

It was clean and plenty of indoor and outdoor space for the kids. We had a slight issue with one toilet, but they responded quickly and it was fixed before we were all needing to get ready for the wedding. The house is very close to the main road which made it a little noisy, but easy to find. Communication was clear, friendly and timely. No stairs and completely accessible. We had a short, but enjoyable stay!

Great cabin for a family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Convenient to anywhere we wanted to go. Plenty of easy parking. Clean, beautiful, spacious cabin. Comfy beds. Plenty of linens and towels. Plenty of dinnerware, drinks are, cutlery and utensils in the stocked kitchen... The only thing I would suggest is a large frying pan or two added as there was only one small one. Also handicap bars in the step in shower and support to stand installed on at least one commode. Otherwise, it was perfect to accommodate a wheelchair guest. (A lift recliner would be a huge plus too.) We love that there was a christmas tree!!! We would recommend to anyone as a fantastic place to stay for any large group or family, and we will definitely consider booking this lodge again!!

Looks Good In Photos, Not Good In Person

When you book a stay in a cabin in Pigeon Forge you’d expect it to be in the beautiful Tennessee mountains. This cabin is located about 40 feet from the road on a busy roadway. Traffic noise is substantial waking us up throughout the Night. It was also very dirty. There were cobwebs and dust everywhere. There were also ants throughout the cabin. The cabin sleeps 14 but the pots and pans were so small that cooking for that many is nearly impossible. The coffee pot was outdated and really didn’t make coffee. The televisions didn’t work, neither did the WiFi. Overall it looks great in pictures but if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in a nice cabin in Pigeon Forge, keep looking.

Wonderful Family Getaway

We had a wonderful time celebrating the end of the year in Pigeon Forge. Upon entering the property we noticed there were shoe prints going throughout the house (the front ramp was salted and everything was easy to track inside, we assumed this was from someone doing a last minute walk though of the home) but other than that the property was clean. The house is located right on the road! So you can hear every vehicle passing by which we weren’t aware of. Also only one bedroom has an attached bath, the remainder of the restrooms are close to the kitchen. We like how there was plenty of seating in the main living area and very comfy furniture. This home is located about 20-25 minutes from the main strip in Pigeon Forge. If you’re looking for a cabin closer to town this one is not for you. We did enjoy our stay though and would consider staying here again if it wasn’t for the longer drive to town. The men on our trip were very pleased with the decor and mounted animals… the architecture features of the ceilings are also beautiful!

Big and roomy

This house is one level, spacious and big! There was plenty of room for my family to spread out. The air in the house was amazing! For June in TN the house never got hot or stuffy. Hot water was never an issue. The rooms are big and decorated, so cute. Only down side, we are a family that loves to cook together, it’s our bonding time. The kitchen was lacking in the pots/pans but we made it work. There were no kitchen towels so bring your own. Dollar General is your neighbor, so you can get things you need. We knew by reading former post that this house is on a busy highway. Wears Valley Road is busy from about 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. Bring a fan or a sound machine for those sleeping in the front two rooms. Besides the noise from road the house is in a prefect location to get to the hiking trails and Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg.

Needs deep cleaning

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was big enough like we needed. Being older the one level was great for us. It would be better if some handicap bars were in the bathtub areas. BUT the place needs a deep cleaning. Couldn’t use grill it was disgusting and hot tub couldn’t be used it was Disgusting also. One of the bathrooms light over sink had to be plugged in to work and it didn’t even reach plug in outlet . Only one roll of toilet paper in bathroom only one dish rag and towel in kitchen. Spider webs all through the house. Bedroom furniture not dusted in long time. Also with people being on a vacation doesn’t want to be woken up with a lawn mower running at 630-7 am! Too much money for the cabin for these things not to be correct. This is about the 4th cabin we have rented through Cove Rental and hot tub dirty or in bad shape.

Okay stay for 2 days

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was "OK". We didn't get to stay in the cabin we reserved due to poor road conditions. Management put us in the cabin that we stayed in on the main road which we didn't really care for. Quite a few cob webs throughout. The drain in the master bedroom bath didn't drain well so you had to stand in dirty water. The roof leaked by the left side of the fireplace. The beds were comfy and slept well at night but you couldn't take a nap during the day because of the light that came in from the high windows.
