Awesome Cabin!

We loved everything about our stay. The cabin was spacious for our two families to spread out and the kids had their own game room. The owners were kind and very easy to communicate with. We would 100% stay at this cabin again the next time we are in this area. Thank you!

Wonderful family getaway!

Everything was BEAUTIFUL, so clean, and so comfortable. We had an absolutely fabulous time! We cooked several times, and the kitchen was very well appointed—we had everything we needed! We did see a bear outside while we were there, which was a little scary for a sec since half our group was in the hot tub at the time, but it was absolutely fine, as the bear had no interest in us! It actually made our trip even better and a little more exciting! Overall, we would stay there every year going forward if it’s available again! We have stayed at several cabins, and this one was the most comfy, clean, cute, and convenient of all of them!

Great family home!

Great Expectations is a great property for a family. Lots of fun stuff for the kids to do. Also, contact with the host was phenomenal - she goes above and beyond to make sure everything is good for your stay. We were there with family and when asked, the kids said they wanted to stay at the cabin and play rather than go out. Would definitely stay here again. just wanted to stay at the cabin and play.

My goodness that driveway is steep!

Very secluded despite other houses nearby. The home was just as nice or better than expected. The layout was perfect for a large group. Multiple indoor spaces for varying interests, multiple porches and levels. Never felt crowded with 10 people from 1 to 69. The communication with the owners was prompt and courteous and all questions and issues handled immediately (some of the best customer service I've ever received). We would definitely rent again. The 3 Stars for cleanliness was due to an issue downstairs. The bed frame felt flimsy so when we looked for the problem there was a lot of trash under the bed (beer cans, soda bottles, chip bags, etc) The cross piece at the head of the bed does not lock and was loose. we reconnected it and supported it because it would not lock in.and the bed frame needs a center support. An often overlooked issue that causes the bed to sag some and will cause excessive wear on the mattress. Everything else was spot on.

Perfect Cabin for family!!

The Great Expectations exceeded ours!! The description and pictures are accurate. Communication with hosts was excellent and they provided clear and detailed information and instructions, as well as shared local recommendations that was helpful. The cabin has everything we needed for a family vacation, we enjoyed being able to sit together in the spacious kitchen, we watched movies together, played games downstairs, and enjoyed an evening of hot tub and bonfire. The cabin had plenty of room for the eight members of our family. The one tiny downside would be not having a Mountain View from porch, but there’s a gorgeous view that we enjoyed every time we drove to and from, and the privacy and seclusion we felt was wonderful. There are other cabins around but you can’t really see and it felt like our own special place. Cabin was very clean, even the porch areas were clean, and furniture very comfy. We would definately stay here again, or look into their other properties. 1000% recommend!

Wonderful

Everything was amazing. The host was very attentive with amazing communication from right when we booked until checkout. It was supposed to snow the day we left and she wrote me and offered a late checkout in case we needed one, which was greatly appreciated. The cabin was located in a great location. The hill to the cabin is a bit steep, but we had no problems getting up it. The cabin was very clean and spacious. The kids loved the game room and hot tub. We enjoyed sitting next to the fire and playing in the woods. The kitchen was well stocked and all the rooms were very cozy and comfortable. Everything was great! I highly recommend staying here.

I must say it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how well organized and equipped the cabin was. Every detail had been thought of, from the cozy furnishings to the fully stocked kitchen. The cabin was perfectly positioned, nestled in the heart of the mountains with breathtaking views in every direction. It was a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The peacefulness and serenity of the surroundings made for a truly rejuvenating stay. But what truly made this cabin stand out was the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From providing helpful recommendations for local activities and attractions to promptly addressing any questions or concerns, they were always there to assist. The hosts' warmth and friendliness made me feel right at home, and their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the cabin. It was clear that they genuinely cared about their guests' experience and went the extra mile to ensure that everything was perfect. I cannot recommend this cabin enough. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat in nature or an adventurous mountain getaway, this cabin has it all. Beautiful cabin!

This cabin is beautiful! It has everything you need and more ! We only had a group of six and it was more than enough for us ! All of us was very impressed ! We were there for my birthday celebration and we only ventured out the day of my bday because there is plenty to do at the cabin ! Megan is the best host ! I highly recommend this cabin!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Cabin is very spacious, three floors, four bedrooms, 2800 sq ft. Beautiful hot tub located off the back patio, adjacent to the game room with a rustic pool table and movie watching area. We've provided lots of our families favorite DVD's and hope you enjoy them as well. The large open concept main floor, large kitchen and tall stacked stone fireplace (gas) is what drew our eye at first! As we have spent more time in the home we love the space it offers to us - we can choose to be together, or when needed we have the space to spread out.
