2 bedroom 900 sq ft cabin with loft. One king bedroom, one queen bedroom, loft with queen and twin bed. One bathroom with step in tile shower. There's a pond with a beach in the front yard. Wrap around covered porch with charcoal grill and fire pit with cooking grate.
Cabin is one of three rentals that sit on 40 acres. We live on the back of the property behind the pond. All cabins and home were situated for privacy.
Dogs welcome. Cats not allowed due to owner allergies.
Cabin is located in the middle of nowhere yet close to many attractions no matter what your interests are.

We loved every minute of our stay. Beautiful property and a beautiful cabin that had everything we could possibly need! The dogs loved roaming around the property and playing in the pond. My husband did a little kayaking as well. We can’t wait to be back!

Multi Family Vaca

This was the perfect spot for our family vacation. We rented all 3 cabins on the property and it got us perfectly. The cabins were clean and very cute. My only recommendation is that if you don’t want to live out of your suitcase bring hangers. There are no dressers but closet space, if you brought hangers, to hang your clothes.

Beautiful property

The property was beautiful and the owners made aure to let us know they were close if we needed anything. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of room for our kids and dog to run around and an awesome little pond for us to kayak on (kayaks provided by owners). Would recomend to anyone that enjoys peace and nature!

A little farther from bike trail, but beautiful scenery. Lots of wildlife and bird watching.

Clean, peaceful setting

The pond really makes this location very beautiful & peaceful. We enjoyed watching the birds land on the pond & other wildlife pass through. The cabin was exceptionally clean, clean, clean. Tommi went above & beyond by not only providing a well stocked kitchen with coffee, sugar, spices & even peanut butter, but she was also very attentive to our questions and requests! The only thing I would change, would be to replace the king bed mattress.

Nice Getaway

Property was clean and comfortable. It was quiet with plentiful stars at night. Well stocked with necessities. Our dog loved the yard. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our dogs absolutely loved the outdoors and the pond. There was nice hiking not too far away to enjoy as well. It has a nice kitchen in the cabin to handle all the basic cooking you could need to do. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin and location

Stayed here during quilt week with quilting friends. The cabin was spotless and cute as can be. Perfect for three girlfriends. We enjoyed the peace and quiet after the crowds at the quilt show. Saw lots of deer on the drive and a wild turkey took an early morning stroll through the yard! Great place to stay!

Beautiful cabin

We had a wonderful stay, shortly after arriving owner stopped by to say hi. The dogs were so happy to jump in the pond. Hiking was awesome, metropolis was not too far away to get groceries. We definitely recommend and we will stay again.

Relaxing get away

I stayed for the weekend with my mother and her small dog. The cabin is cozy and we loved the property. Though it rained most of the time we were there, we still had a relaxing time playing cards and getting some goodies from The chocolate factory that is close by. Dobby our dog loved walking the grounds (even in the rain!). Hoping to come back in the summer to take advantage of the beautiful pond. Definitely recommend.

Comfortable, clean, great location: just enough off the beaten path. Property is beautiful, pond is great for swimming and relaxing—Tommi is good people, very kind and helpful. Already want to book a return trip.

Lovely getaway

We rented this cabin to stay somewhere nice and quiet while we explored the Shawnee National Forest. Tommi's cabin definitely delivered. Peaceful, full of wildlife and comfortable lodging. Our one year old son loved running around on the property and swimming in the pond. My husband and I enjoyed the kayaks and just the general calmness the pond and the surrounding atmosphere provided. I’d definitely recommend the stay to anyone.

Father’s Day Getaway

We brought our family to stay at this cabin for a long weekend. The kids enjoyed the pond most of all with fishing, kayaking and swimming. Our youngest enjoyed playing in the small Sandy beach. The dogs had a great time playing with the Beagle that lives nearby. A couple things that I’d say were above and beyond: The owner made a point to say hello and made sure everything was as expected. Firewood was available to purchase on site. That was convenient! So many towels! We try to reuse our bath towels and we even brought our own for swimming, but it was nice to have plenty of towels to use for the 5 of us. Overall, there was nothing that we needed that wasn’t available. We stay in Shawnee a couple times a year and like to try new places, but I’d say we’ll definitely come back with the kids! Thank you!

Relaxing weekend

This was one of my favorite stays ever. Such a laid back weekend with lots of hiking nearby. The dogs enjoyed the land and pond. We’ll definitely be back again!

Girls weekend getaway

Easter hiking

We just left the best low key weekend ever! We cooked at the cabin and picnicked our way through through the Shawnee forest. I had a bunch of stops mapped out and we opted to enjoy time at the cabin over more hiking. Our daughter had her first solo kayak experience on the pond and is hooked. The guys fished and everyone enjoyed the fire pit. Thanks for providing such a perfect spot for a long weekend!

Wonderful weekend getaway

This property was just perfect for our family with 3 little kids. The kids and our dog could take walks outside on the mowed trails around the cabin and pond with no worries and we were only a short drive from some really great hiking trails. The owner Tommi was wonderful, checking in prior, once during, and after we left. She even answered my phone call to help us with the directions to get there when we weren’t exactly sure where we were! The cabin was clean and very functional. One of our favorite parts of our stay was the beagle Waylon who was an excellent welcoming committee and quickly became a good friend to our dog :) Would definitely come back again and would highly recommend to anyone wanting some peace and quiet in a beautiful location.

Peaceful get away!

Love the peacefulness that the property gives us. Cabin is cute and cozy, has an awesome view of the pond, we love the greetings from Waylon the Beagle, and the owners are great.
