Excellent Stay on Lake Hamilton

We really enjoyed our stay at this property on Lake Hamilton near Hot Springs. The home was comfortable, clean, well-furnished, well-maintained, with plenty of space to enjoy time together both inside and outside on the deck or down by the water. Communication was easy with the property manager, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It's a quick drive to downtown Hot Springs and some good restaurant options on the water.

Outstanding rental

Property was well equipped with plenty of room. Great location minutes from shopping and dining. Situated right in a quiet cut off lake hamilton and equipped for boats if you choose to bring your own. Also lots of spots to rent boat for a day. Was a great getaway.

Great Common Areas

We enjoyed our family get-together here. Living room, kitchen, dining room and deck were great places to gather and spend time together. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck. The beds were comfortable and it was wonderful to have 3 bathrooms. There were no curtains or blinds on the room with 2 twin beds which was unsettling at night.

Great Set Up!

We had all of the space we needed and more. The downstairs basement bedroom, bath and extra beds were perfect. The place was immaculate and we had everything we needed to cook and have family time. The cove is sheltered from the wind and waves from the main channel. We were able to float in the water and enjoy our space. Yes, the grill is not huge and I read before we rented but it was serviceable. We had a great time and would rent again! Thanks!!!

Great rental for families - but come prepared

The house and property were great!! The beds were comfy (aside from the basement futon that should only be marketed for one small child), we loved the convenience of 3 full bathrooms. The communal areas are spacious, the deck and outdoor space were beautiful and it’s on a nice quiet cove off the water. That being said- we were told all linens/towels would be provided and we couldn’t find one hand towel in the entire house. Not even one dish towel in the kitchen either. There wasn’t a single box of Kleenex in the house and the stock of toilet paper and paper towels was only enough for maybe 2 people for our week-long stay. The freezer must have been cleaned hastily because it made the ice and anything put in the freezer taste like Comet. We had to run to Walmart for dish towels and those basic necessary supplies right when we got in to town, which ate into our budget and vacation time. None of these things were dealbreakers by any means and we would happily stay there again, but be a little more prepared in advance.

Perfect for us!

It was a good location for everything we wanted to do in Hot Springs. Sitting on the back deck, looking at the view and listening to the wildlife was so very peaceful. Just the break we needed!

House was clean and nice. The refrigerator was not working properly when we arrived and it was replaced by the next morning with a new frig. The owner was very responsive to our needs. House was right on the lake with easy access to Lake Hamilton.

Labor day vacation

The entire experience was seamless! We booked I called got code and we went!! Upon arriving pulling into drive it is obvious its an older home which I had studied on website. For a moment I was like...uhm...but as soon as I opened the door I saw exactly what was advertised. A very well done remodel !!! The wall of windows facing the lake channel was amazing and the kitchen was very well stocked. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was very nice. My only advice would be making more use of space in living area by rearranging television to end wall and adding more seating! The long deck and short walk to boat slip was wonderful. The swim deck could use some attention! But overall this place was perfect for me and my family. We were able to ride boat to eat T the wharf and to watch labor day fireworks ont he water. Highly recommend this place. Very clean and very nice!!

Hi Wanda, the homeowners were surprised to read your review as this home is equipped for an entire family. The homeowner would like to share the following: - The dining room table seats 8, there is a bar area with 3 barstools, several couches, and seating for 5 on the patio. - The cleaning team leaves out 16 towels for guests, which is 2 sets in each room. - The home has floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides of the house as well as ceiling light and lamps. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Bass boat christening trip

Everything was great..clean, cool , and comfortable. Ramp and dock were so convenient and made our first lake experience with our "new-old" bass boat great. Kids lived in the water...house description is quite accurate. The house smelled very clean..and not deodorized clean, but a true clean smell when you first entered. Beds comfy...need window coverings in bedrooms though to block outside lights..hard to get to sleep. Handy location....

Lake Hamilton Home

The docks are in need of some repairs, but overall the Home was perfect for our needs with plenty of room for family. The large deck was the perfect place to sit back and relax at the end of the day and became the gathering place while dinner was cooking on the grill.

Great location

This home is in a great location for exploring the Hot Springs area. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck early in the morning and watching the geese. The house includes bare minimum of most necessities and was not cleaned in all areas.

It was a great family home

Loved the place! The only recommendation we would have is to have more furniture in the living room area and better cable tv or satellite for live tv but we came during covid, Christmas Holidays and spent a lot of time there and I know most vacations wouldn't use all this a lot. But all in all we loved the place! The property managers were Great ! Always contacted us immediately back and took care of us "newbies" to this house rental and the area !
