Tree Top Haven is nestled on a hillside overlooking Valley Springs Lodging lake. The gorgeous mountain views will transport you into a state of peace and tranquility. Two rocking chairs on the covered front porch beckon you to come sit awhile, close your eyes, and hear the roar of the nearby creek. We promise you will not be disappointed with the peace and serenity of the surrounding 122 acres. A propane grill with propane included completes this perfect little porch. Our 1 bedroom mountain cabin with knotty pine walls add to the cabins unique ambience. We often refer to Tree Top Haven as our “Love Nest”. We have had many proposals happen in this unique setting, couples have celebrated anniversaries, and honeymoons too. Tree Top is equipped with all of your essentials including a mini frig, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, 2 burner hot plate, dishes and utensils. A large screen TV with DVD player and Dish Satellite is included. Wi-Fi is available on the property and is not always reliable as with many locations in the mountains. The Wi-fi at Valley Springs has the maximum speed for this area which is 3 Mbps.

There are many activities in Rabun County. Trendy downtown Clayton is full of unique locally owned businesses and wonderful restaurants. Rabun County has two wine Vineyards, one in Tiger and one in Rabun Gap. These Vineyards have events on week-ends. We also have a distillery in Dillard and one in Clayton, Georgia. Rabun County is home to two State Parks, Tallulah Gorge and Black Rock Mountain, with numerous hiking trails for the outdoor enthusiasts. Rabun is also home to several pristine Georgia Power controlled lakes. Lake Rabun and Lake Burton offer boat and pontoon boat rentals. Each have a public beach with bathroom facilities and picnic areas. Tallulah Falls also has a public park with restrooms and picnic areas. Kayaking is allowed at these locations. Rabun County also has two Flea Markets, whitewater rafting at nearby Longcreek, SC, Ziplines at Scaly Mountain, and a multitude of waterfalls to enjoy. Of course, if relaxation is your goal or at the end of a busy day exploring, you can always return to your cabin and drift away on our oasis of peace and serenity.

Nice but sparse

If you're looking to get away and not be bothered, this is for you. This is well off the beaten path, a bit difficult to get to, but the cabin was nice, clean and secure. The only issue was that the sheets had a funny smell, almost like they were still damp when the bed was made. Not unbearable, but not pleasant either.

Very nice and comfortable

We couldn't have enjoyed our short stay more. I do have a couple of suggestions about some things - more directions about the coffee pot. It would have been nice to figure out out to work it, but we finally figured it out. We had some issues with the Dish/TV and never figured them out - it was stuck in Streaming mode and we're not that savvy to figure it out. We could have contacted the Property Manager but decided it just wasn't worth bothering them about it. Also, the ceiling fan in the bedroom needed cleaning but since it is early in the season we figured a deep cleaning was in the future. These seem like petty issues and feel bad about even writing them but we like to give honest reviews and these were minor. All in all, the cabin was nice, rustic and comfortable.

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. Simple but adequate. Would have like a little more heads up in what kind of coffee maker and what to bring. Cabin is miles from store (which is delightful) but not as fully stocked for morning coffee as I expected. Windows could be cleaned to view the lovely location better.

Incredible views

Very secluded, beautiful views. Pluses=Serene, peaceful, waterfall and springs on property. 15 min from town. So much to see and do- great restaurants. Decent bed. Minuses=Cabin- very small, rustic. The four cabins are right next to each other. Not particularly private. A step above camping- but that’s what we were looking for- We’ll come back!

relaxing weekend

we had a great time at this cabin. It was very clean , a great weekend get away, The property is beautiful has a beautiful waterfall. We plan on coming back to the cabin in the winter time!!! Hope to see some snow

We really enjoyed our stay at Treetop cabin 2. It was easy to find and just what we needed. If I may make a suggestion: If you clean the windows, the view from inside would be greatly enhanced!

Nice place.

Our one bedroom cabin was one of four that were very close to each other. Fortunately, we were the only ones there. The bedroom was small. The refrigerator was not full sized. The cabins are very close to a beautiful waterfall that is easy to get to. Nice front porch to enjoy. I could hear the waterfall while enjoying the beautiful mountains. There is a nice Baptist church nearby where the members were very friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the area.

Honeycomb Hide Away.

Nestled in the North Georgia mountains is a honeycomb Hide Away. Great time, great atmosphere, beautiful Town, Wonderful people. This was truly a gem. We were able to pull away from your business lives, to enjoy each other in the most beautiful place ever. Nice cabin, we will be doing this again.

Amazing Getaway

we celebrated our 8th anniversary and it was amazing. Our first time in blue ridge area and from the morning sunrises to the Evenings on the porch watching the sun set. Will definitely go back!

cutest little getaway

my husband and i just got married in october and wanted to go on a small getaway close to home to celebrate 4 years of dating. we absolutely loved the property. as someone who works in hospitality, i was so pleased and relieved to have such a clean space to unwind in. however, i was slightly disappointed because my husband and i both tried contacting the property owner as well as the housekeeper to get some extra toilet paper and got no response. but regardless, we were so happy to have picked this place and we definitely plan on coming back in the future/recommending this to friends and family. :)

Beautiful weekend getaway 😍

Absolutely beautiful! The leaves were in full color and sitting on the front porch listening to the creek and looking at the gorgeous reflection of the mountains and leaves in the lake made for the perfect mornings and evenings.
