This was my husband and Iâs first ever bnb experience and it was beyond our expectations! The cabin itself was perfect for just us and the night sky photography opportunities were amazing! The host was very welcoming, provided everything we would need and so much more than that! We even bought one of the antiques they had at the cabin to hang in my garden as our keepsake. We will definitely look to book again in the future. Thank you for making our first experience one to set the standard for us.
The cabin was cozy and filled with thoughtful details. The layout was similar to a studio, and the host was exceptionally kind and accommodating. Everything matched the description in the listing.
We totally loved the kitchen set up!!! It was so neat and cozy!!! The host was awesome with communication and very understanding! Our trip was originally booked just for my husband and I but my son had a medical emergency and had to go with us. The host let me add him to our guest list with a fee and I am very grateful for that! The couch is also a couch bed which was perfect for my son and we were able to keep our booking!! The cabin is adorable and very cozy!! We totally loved our stay overall! We definitely plan to book again when my husband and I can come alone!!!
The cabin is sweet and so very peaceful. When at the cabin I never heard anything but nature sounds. Cabin is very clean and bed very comfortable. I would definately stay again. Much needed retreat.
Had a very nice stay here. Cabin was very clean and cozy. Was very quiet and peaceful. Nice area for easy strolls, a little river at the end of the street. Only briefly met the hosts (I usually keep to myself) and they were very kind. Would stay again.
Morning coffee on the darling front porch with an amazing view gave us the best start to our days. Sitting by the fire pit gazing at the stars was a perfect way to spend our evenings. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the shabby chic decor. I would love another chance to stay at The Rusty Nail. The peace and quiet was amazing.
Perfect for 2 people, clean, neat, great little touches throughout. Privacy. Very convenient to local shops, eateries, sightseeing and adventures. We shopped, we went to a lake for the day, we went Gem Mining, waterfalls. Drove over and ate at the Dillard House. We really enjoyed our stay at the Rusty Nail and the town of Franklin. Hope to make a trip back some day before too long and will definitely check with Jeanette for our stay!
As we pulled into the driveway to the Rusty Nail, we knew right away this was going to be a great getaway. After being on the road for almost 14 hours, the only thing we wanted was a place to relax. Stepping into the cabin, it was a sight to see! Big bed, comfy pillows, ceiling fans, and a kitchen area filled with everything needed for a 5 ight/day stay.I loved all the old antiques and even purchased a piece to bring home as a momento of the trip. The property itself was so peaceful. Great sitting area with a firepit that has a grill rack for cooking.Jeanette made sure we had everything we needed. The hosts are very good at making sure you have whatever you need and gave us complete privacy. (I hope we didn't bother them too much)! This cabin is so adorable! Would stay again if ever in the Smokey Moutains again.PS - there is so much to see and do in the Franklin/Cherokee area. 5 stars for The Rusty Nail.
We were so excited about our trip. We have been to Clayton and Dillard a few times, but wanted a weekend just the 2 of us in a tiny cozy cabin. The set up was beautiful and perfect. Check-in and check-out was super easy. Owner Jeanette was easy to communicate with. Franklin is a great town to visit with Waterfalls and mountain views. We will definitely will be back to visit the Rusty Nail. We thank you so very much for the opportunity to stay there and cannot wait until we can return. Hopefully it will be warmer and we can do some trout fishing in the area. Thank you again and May God Bless y'all. Mitch and Ashley.
We enjoyed our 4 nights and Jeanette, David (and Tuck) was very helpful and kind. We even got a Christmas gift. Sharing the pics of the cottage with family and friends, we had a few "looks like a fairytale" place. We enjoyed our stay and plan to be back.
The cabin was excellent and well cared for. Everything was clean and well decorated. The host was very friendly and inviting person. Could not ask for for our anniversary trim. Would recommended this for those who needs a time away.
This tiny cabin has it all! Rustic and adorable, very well maintained and clean. It is close to lots of great hiking and spots to eat. Owners are very respectful of your privacy and responsive immediately if there is anything that you need. I visit the area often and rarely stay at the same location, but that may change now that I've found this cabin!
This cabin is so cute and comfortable. We enjoyed all the cabin had to offer. We arrived in time to grill steaks, have a nice fire and enjoy the outdoor space as well as the cabin itself. The bed was comfy and the shabby chic decor made it so homey. Thanks Jeanette for the extra coffee and for making our AT section hikes so relaxing.
This cabin was all I hoped for and so much more! The Rusty Nail was anything but! Our host was so accommodating and quick to reply! We had absolute privacy, the cutest decor, an awesome fire pit, and the snacks were the perfect touch! We will definitely be back!
We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with. The place was just what we needed. Nothing fancy just down home and quiet.
Great location. Not to far from Cherokee, Bryson City and Highlands. All beautiful places to visit while here.
We will definitely be back.
