The apartment is located between the vibrant Exarcheia and the elegant Kolonaki neighborhood just 10 minutes away from the foothills of Mount Lycabettus. The apartment was renovated in 2018 and includes new windows, new furniture, refurbished wooden and marble floors. For the ones who look to stay in the city center the apartment has a great location with supermarkets, cafes, kiosks, bars, stores with local products, restaurants and taverns being only a few minutes away. We carefully designed the 25 sq m apartment in order to create a harmonious environment for our guests . The apartment offers a dining/sitting area with a table and two chairs. In the same room you can find closets to store your clothes and personal belongings. The bedroom has a double bed with plugs on both sides and a desk with a comfortable chair near the window for some extra natural light. The A/C in the bedroom if used correctly can cool the whole apartment. The kitchen is equipped with the necessary amenities to prepare small meals, a small oven with two stove tops, a fridge and basic cutlery and pans. The bathroom has a small bathtub which is suitable for a shower but not a bath. The aluminum windows are new and the shutters in the bedroom and kitchen are electrical.

Stay in Athens

Was a great stay and had everything needed except for towels. No linens or towels was a little rough but the neighborhood is safe and the air conditioning was nice.

Check in was difficult. You have to find a box near the apartment and the indications were not clear. We arrived late at night and did not feel safe looking around for 15 minutes with our luggage. When we arrived in the apartment, it was smaller and darker than it seemed on the photos. The shower curtain was dirty, the mattress is really not comfortable (every time you move it makes a sound) and you can hear everything that is happening outside. The apartment is near bars so there is screaming and honking outside until 4am. Safe to say we did not sleep well for the 2 nights we stayed there. However you are close to the center of the city with the acropolis (about 20 min walk).

We have made our apartment available for travelers who wish to visit Athens for a shorter or longer period. The apartment is in the city center of Athens, in Exarcheia. The rest of the building is inhabited by families, students, working individuals etc as well as some small businesses, so we would really appreciate if you wouldn't disrupt their everyday routine. We will try to make you feel as comfortable as possible and we hope the description and rules of the apartment are clear enough and the amenities can cover your needs. Please advice us beforehand for any questions or special requests you might have. Mostly we will be in touch via email/the platform.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The neighborhood is famous for its creative and vivid residents and it combines nightlife and tranquility. It has everything someone needs plus easy access to public transport. Within a few steps you can reach bistros, taverns, cosy bars and the beautiful open air cinema "Riviera". Within a 10 minute walk you can find the unique National Archaeological Museum of Athens which is considered one of the greatest museums in the world and contains the richest collection of artifacts from Greek antiquity worldwide. The elegant neighborhood of Kolonaki is just a 3 minute walk away while Mount Lycabettus can be reached easily on foot , with a fantastic view. There you can find the popular Horizon Cafe-restaurant at the top and the small church of Saint George.

The renowned farmer's market of Exarcheia every Saturday is only a 5 minute walk. Big institutions, museums and highlights such as the wonderful National Archaeological museum, the French and German institute are only 5-10 minutes away, the National Gardens and the Parliament are 10-15' away and the Parthenon and Acropolis museum are a 20' walk. Mount Lycabettus and Strefi Hill are withing walking distance and a rewarding view. The apartment is easily reached by two metro stations (Panepistimio and Omonoia) as well as with buses (025, 026, 027).
