We also have a charcoal grill in front of the cabin.

Place was nice. Only a couple of towels in each bathroom. Had to go buy extra towels. There was dirty dishes in oven as well as wet towels in washing machine. Hot tub was not working properly and no chemicals in hot tub.
My family has been staying in Hidden Springs Resort for 20 years. This cabin by far was the worst. There were no bowls, no baking trays, a toaster scramble/struesel stuck in the toaster that caused the toaster to smoke when we went to use it, the bedside lamp had to be unplugged to turn it off because the knob to turn it off was broke, the cover for the hot tub was literally falling apart, a rocking chair in the deck was broke and there was bedding still in the dryer when we arrived. Definitely not worth the price we paid to stay.
We came to town during Hurricane Helene. The manager was so helpful and got the cabin ready for early check-in to keep us safe and out of the rain/wind that was headed to town.
The bathrooms could use updating but I expected that based on other reviews. Overall, we were very pleased with the cabin and service.
Overall, this cabin was good enough for myself, husband, and a couple friends. Perfect size, great location near everything. However itâs a VERY steep hill to get to the property, if it had been raining/snowing our vehicle likely wouldnât have made it up the hill. The hot tub still does not work as of 12/7/24. The temperature button is broke and will not heat up past 71F, so that was a definite bummer.Cabin could have been cleaner. There was a little bit of mold on both shower curtains, and it was just very dusty. The queen bed was awfully uncomfortable, too.For one night the stay was good enough, but I wouldnât stay more than one night/an entire weekend here unless youâre just desperate to be close to Dollywood.
Save your life and donât get in the hot tub leaking water rotting porch looks dangerous when it didnât even work squeaky bed in the bunk bed room loud toilets but other than that great location and got the job done.
The living room area is not very comfortable or convenient otherwise a few things could be updated like the bedroom tv its tiny lots of remotes to keep up with throught the whole cabin .... the 1 playstation game available to play didnt work the bowls were way to small , a extra toliet paper and extra trash bag would have been nice .
Great Location, But Lacking Comfort, Essentials, and Communication
The location was a big plusâless than a mile from Dollywood and inside a private, gated resort with a secure entry code. Just be aware the road to the cabin is very steep, so a 4WD vehicle is highly recommended. The cabin included some basics like pots, pans, and a coffee pot, but it was missing many of the essentials that make a stay convenient. No coffee filters, no salt or pepper, and no ice machine. I brought both K-cups and ground coffee, but without filters, neither was usable. Food delivery wasnât available either, which was frustrating.Towels were another issueâjust one small, old towel per person with no extras, and nothing provided specifically for hot tub use. The hot tub itself had plenty of posted rules, including a sign saying youâd be charged 400 if you broke the spa coverâbut the cover was already old, moldy, and broken when we arrived. There were no simple instructions for using the hot tub either, which wouldâve been helpful.Although the cabin is advertised to sleep 8, it didnât offer enough comfortable seating for even the 4 of us. The main couch was a springy pull-out bed, and seating was tight. While there was a pool table, it felt like wasted spaceâwe wouldâve much preferred more cozy, functional furniture instead. To make matters worse, I messaged the host with a question and never got a response. That lack of communication really impacted the experience.Overall, the location is fantastic, but the cabin needs updates to be truly guest-ready
The cabin needs a lot of TLC. Tub faucet broken off, blinds in terrible condition one missing, water could not be regulated in shower, mattress terrible, furniture very uncomfortable, stove vent a hood really dirty, ice maker broken. Nice cabin but condition awful.
There was black mold in the master bathroom, the floor was falling apart, the toilet wouldnât stop running, the couch had a hole in it, a chair was broken, the hot tub wouldnât work, the hot tub was falling apart along with the cover, there was dust and spider webs everywhere, it looked like nothing had been cleaned, the majority of the channels didnât work, the WiFi was awful. Donât waste your money.
this property needs a,lot of up dating. the couch was the worst i have ever seen. had a torn place in it. could not get out of it once you sat in it. the blinds were broken and old the channel were the worst i have stay in. could not get many channels. they had them blocked out. the mattress in both bed room need to be replaced. need new furniture. the dresser needs to be replaced. no clocks anywhere in this house. the cover on the hot tub needs to be replaced. the title in the bath needs to be replaced. no chark for the pool table. need better instructions to get to the house. we were not given any instructions
In some of the reviews I saw that the hot tub was awesome. I have hip arthritis & was soo looking forward to trying the hot tub to see if it would help with my pain. We arrived late but I had to try the hot tub. It was on 92degrees, we tried to turn it up the temp up button wouldn't turn it up the jet up button finally turned it up to 102. We got in & it was slimy & not warm enough to be enjoyable. I contributed the slimy feel to maybe too much chemical but it just was not comfortable so we got out. The lighting on the deck was very dim & the light in the hot tub also did not work so we couldn't see the water. The cabin was clean so I was hopeful that the water was clean too.BUT the next morning it didn't maintain that temp it defaulted back to 92 & the water was very cloudy, UGH. So no more hot tub for us!! That amenity was non existent...Also the jets would come on barely but you could not turn them up either. I contacted the owner & was told that it was hard to operate from the panel but they could have their housekeeper contact me with info on how to operate & no mention that I'd said the water was very cloudy. I have stayed at Hidden Springs in another cabin & was super happy everything worked properly. This cabin while it does need updating but it was ok BUT the hot tub should NOT be listed as an amenity as it is very old & desperately needs replaced. Several years ago the inside pool was heated NOT now. So that was a bust too.
The property needs updated. The shower curtain was molded, the hot tub cover was dry rotted and the water smelled. The yard behind the cabin was litered in trash and there were bugs on the kitchen counter.
Enjoyed staying here. While the cabin met our needs and my husband, myself, and another couple had a good time here the cabin does need some updating. The second bedroom needs blinds and curtains beside the bunk bed. The queen bed in that room also should be replaced, very loud and leans to the left side with the springs. The flat screen tv has been updated in the second bedroom but it is not mounted safely to move and the nightstand top is lose. Th couch has a tear in it. And sadly to play on the pool table along the wall you must get in uncomfortable positions. The master bedroom was wonderful and mattress was really soft in there. We tried to turn the fireplace on but it never did kick on. Hot tub worked amazingly and the cabin is really close to Pigeon Forge and about thirty mins from Gatlinburg. And was extremely clean and had nice ambient music playing when we arrived. Thank you for allowing us to use your cabin.
Our stay in this cabin was just what we needed for our family. The layout was ideal and it was just big enough to give everyone some space. The view out the back deck was so pretty, and it was very quiet. The host was very responsive. Would definitely rent from them again.
