Modern guest apartment in perfect Winston Salem location - just minutes from parks, restaurants, shopping, and more! *COVID-19 - Apt has its own heating/air unit with filtration system that deodorizes and purifies the air (no air is shared between guests and hosts). Completely stocked for maximum comfort with a full size, fully-stocked kitchen, comfy & modern living area, bedroom with plenty of storage in dresser and closet, and HUGE bathroom! Parking for up to two cars.
5 minutes from Hanes Mall (and tons of other restaurants and shopping!), 10 minutes from downtown Winston Salem, 5 minutes from Novant Medical Center, 8 minutes from Brenner's Children's Hospital, 3 minutes from I-40, 25 minutes from GSO airport, 25 minutes from High Point.
THINGS TO NOTE: Guest apartment sits below main living area, so you WILL HEAR some noise from main level (overhead footsteps, dogs walking around, ancillary noise), though not loud, do expect to hear sound from upstairs. Two friendly dogs lives on property. You may see them outside at times. Though VERY WELL STOCKED for both short, and long-term guests, there are NOT a lot of nick-knacks so a GREAT space for babies, and small children.We LOVE, and welcome, children/families.

Fun in Winston - cozy stay

Everything was great, cute basement reno and close to downtown. The owner was super nice. Only complaint was a little noisy from above living. Could hear the TV and footsteps/wood squeak from the living room above us. Thanks for welcoming us!

Tastefully Done

My wife and I rented this property for a four day getaway and visit with family in the area. The apt. is well appointed with quality furniture and a very comfy queen size bed. The bathroom and kitchen are clean and modern, and the unit seems larger than you would think. The owner, Carla met me on arrival and was very responsive to any needs we had. I would rent this property again when in the area, a good deal for the money.

Fine place but a bit noisy.

The property was clean and well-maintained. Only problem was the fact that it was a bit noisy upstairs. You can clearly hear people walking around and the TV going. If you want total quiet you might want to check with a different property. Everything else was great.

Cute place, but no sound barrier in the ceiling. Can here every foot step and conversation. Had to sleep with headphones.

Nicole, we greatly appreciate feedback - it's how we ensure all guests have an amazing stay. It's clearly noted in the space's description “Guest apartment sits below main living area, so there may be some noise”. As a short-term rental tenant, and host, I’ve experienced how important it is to read the details of a space prior to committing. Ie. the apartment being garden level, there may be some noise, check-out time of 10:00AM, etc. You guys left an hour beyond check-out, and that’s hard on hosts to prepare for their next guests. Again, I greatly appreciate your feedback, yet suggest reading the details of the space you’re considering prior to committing.

Great property for a weekend in Winston-Salem

This apartment worked very well for us when we visited for a family wedding. It was no more than 15 minutes drive to all of the wedding festivities and other family get togethers in downtown W-S to Graylin Estate. Perfect size for us with a full bed + sleeper sofa, large bathroom and sizeable kitchen. Check in and check out were a breeze.

Great Location

The host was very accommodating and was accurate about the location. My daughter and I stayed there for her lacrosse tournament and it was close to the fields and restaurants.

Great location w/basic amenities

Great find. Parking near entrance helps with unloading. White noise machine was a nice touch. Glad apt was stocked with coffee, tea, and toiletries that may be needed.

Quiet neighborhood convenient location

We were very please with our stay. The rental had everything we needed. It was clean and tastefully decorated. There was plenty of room for our things. Communication with the owner was quick and friendly. We would recommend it and we would stay here again.

Well appointed apartment.

Well appointed apartment. This basement has recently been renovated into a well appointed and nicely decorated apartment. The full kitchen was supplied with most things you might need to cook. The bathroom was new and very nice. The bed was comfortable . We really enjoyed spotting the deer in the backyard which would show up early morning or late afternoon. It is in a nice neighborhood and the owners who live above were very helpful and friendly. They responded quickly to any of our concerns or questions. We did feel that the noise level above our heads was more than expected . It appeared that it was a wooden floor and we heard each step , voices, So on. Perhaps a rug upstairs would help insulate the noise level.

Just what we was looking for

Carla came out and introduced herself as we was pulling in driveway and said hello and told us if we needed anything to let her know. The place was very clean and cozy, bath towels laid out, and a couch in front of the tv that was great. Super recommendation on a place to eat just minutes away, super comfortable bed and very private. GPS took me right to this place. Thanks Carla for making us feel welcome and if I’m back in town we will be back.

Excellent and highly recommend!

This was by far one of the best places I have stayed. The apartment was immaculate, well decorated and well maintained. There isn’t a thing you would need that isn’t provided including the little things you don’t think of. Such great use of space made the apartment feel bigger than it is and not crowded at all. The entire place just makes you feel “at home” and completely comfortable. I would feel very comfortable staying there for a long period of time if needed, and will definitely book in the future! Great communication and loved this place! Highly recommend!

Though it's just us two at home now, we are a BIG family and our home is bursting with love, laughter, and good energy. We adore our home and are constantly updating, and doing things to improve it as well as our garden apartment. Hosting guests is such an incredible privilege and we never take for granted that people could choose to stay anywhere, yet for a short (or longer period of time) choose to stay in our little gem.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We're always so pleasantly surprised how people react when they enter the apartment. It's instant love. They love the layout, the use of space, and the character that's poured into each and every nook & cranny. The neighborhood is super safe, and walkable. Neighbors are always out walking or jogging. Parking space is directly in front of the apartment so your vehicle is also safe.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The space is incredibly private. The shower is huge and fabulous. The ambiance is very comfortable and relaxing though a modern/industrial vibe. The kitchen is FULLY stocked and ready for cooking or baking. There is a live edge bar with 3 stools for eating in.
