Perfect location. Wonderful peaceful street close to coffee and restaurants. I enjoyed biking in the neighborhood, downtown, and on the trails (Long Branch and Salem Creek). I'll be back!

Perfect location, easy walk or drive to everything! Loved having the park so close by and so much to do and see. I was met by the hostess upon arrival and was handed the keys and given a tour of the property. The accommodations were very pleasant, clean and well equipped. The West End neighborhood is lovely and full of history and charm. I definitely plan on staying again. My pup and I had a wonderful time!

Great communication, pet-friendly, easy to get in, parking wasn't an issue on the street, area felt very safe and quiet. Only critique I have is there was a faint smell of smoke in the living room - I'm not sure if people are allowed to smoke inside because the listing says smoking allowed in "designated areas" but regardless it was something we noticed because we were traveling with an infant. Otherwise have nothing bad to say about this apartment.

I'm glad that you and your family felt secure and comfortable, but I apologize for the smoke smell. While smoking is strictly outdoor-only, the policy isn’t always followed as it should be. All air filters are being upgraded and replaced to address this, and it is very likely the smoking policy will be changed entirely to prevent any future issues for guests. It was a most comfortable place with everything we needed. Location is excellent. Be sure to go to Louie & Honey (walkable) for their cinnamon rolls. Host went above and beyond and always responded to any questions. I definitely will stay there again.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATIONMy Westie and I so enjoyed our stay. We loved the park and close restaurant's which I could walk to. The floors are gorgeous , the couch and bed were comfortable. The neighborhood is walkable with old huge trees and charming historic homes. Nice charming place to stay!

My stay was really bad/horrible I had to drive down from Virginia in the snow storm because the host wouldn’t refund my money back not only did it take me 4 hours to get to winston-Salem North Carolina but when I got there it was no where to park because of the snow had turned into ice. Also the room is not how the picture made it out to look it’s cracking an peeling paint every where in the place

This little place was wonderful. The location is amazing. We walked around the beautiful neighborhood , Hanes Park, and downtown. You are within 10 minute car ride to just about anywhere . The apartment was spotlees. Very clean with ample amenities. The host is very accommodating and available to reach if you need something. She met us at the property when we arrived at 9:30 pm! We will most certainly stay here again when back in Winston. I highly recommend the West End Whisper!

Our host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The accommodations would be wonderful for a younger couple. Clean and tasteful. Nice apps on the tv. An upscale near-downtown neighborhood. It didn’t work as well for this 70 couple and their handicapped niece plus little terrier. Getting up and down the steps with all of our stuff was difficult. We would’ve liked a table to eat at other than the coffee table. And there weren’t enough bowls, glasses and utensils for the three of us. Otherwise this place was absolutely fine but it just didn’t meet our personal needs.

The property is better than the listing states. The property is in a great locoation. Its not possible to have a better location. You are literally a few minutes from downtown. The location is safe, friendly and vibrant. The property is very clean, modern and simple.The owner is very nice. She was very responsive to our needs. She provided everything we needed. We didnt have to buy anything extra as needed for our stay. We arrived at 3:30 am on a Thursday with last minute accommodations. She made the transition into the house very smooth. I definitely plan on staying here EVERYTIME I come see my family. This place is nothing short of amazing.These are actual pictures of the property when we walked into the property. I was very suprised.
