Maison au bord de la rivière sur un terrain de 1/2 acre pouvant accueillir 25 personnes. La propriété a une pente douce vers la rivière sans escaliers et de beaux pacanes et cyprès. Nous sommes situés sur River Rd au cœur du pays des baignoires! Intérieur récemment rénové, la maison possède 4 chambres et 4 salles de bains avec une très grande salle de fête en bas des escaliers. La propriété a une vue magnifique avec diverses possibilités d'observation de la vie sauvage. L'emplacement comprend également la pêche à la truite trophée à quelques pas de la maison.

Great location for a large group

If you enjoy sitting in the river and relaxing, then this is the place for you! We’ve stayed a few different places on the river over the years, but this was our favorite.

Perfect Setup

We stayed here for a friends reunion and the house was perfect. Plenty of space and we had the best setup on the river. Wonderful golden hour - beautiful property. Will be back!

Convenient location and great accommodations

Great home for river vacation. We had a great time with our family of 15. Plenty of room for everyone plus a great location on the river. We will definitely stay here again!!

The property was very nice in a private and secluded Area the scenery was astounding. Also the surrounding wildlife and nature trails were very beautiful. Thank you for the wonderful time and we plan to use you guys in the near future.

Family getaway

Overall great stay. Enjoined the riverfront access. Would have liked more seating area to have breakfast instead of having to go down stairs to larger table. We made it work!! Great stay!! The kids and Adults had a blast!!

A very good experience, and a great location. The owner even let us check in earlier. Totally recomend, very clean place and has everything you need. So much fun and a very good experience!

Relaxing Stay

Great trip to relax on the river with old college buddies. We had a great time using their grills, River front property, and lodging. It was plenty of room for us by a long shot and everything in the home opporsted as it should so nothing but 5 stars from us.

Family getaway

This was the perfect place for a family retreat! We loved the location on the River and there was plenty of space for everyone. The host even allowed us to check in a few hours earlier than originally scheduled. All in all we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful setting

We enjoyed our stay at Grateful Getaway. You couldn’t ask for a better location...the view is gorgeous ! The owner is very responsive and accommodating. Great place to stay to enjoy tubing, fishing and other outdoor adventures!

Great Stay for a Bach Weekend

My Fiancé and I had a joint bach weekend with all of our wedding party. The location was perfect. We spent our days relaxing on the river and spending quality time with each other. The house was clean and comfortable to hang out in. We will definitely come again for another group stay in the future.

River Weekend

This is our second stay at this place! My friends and I all the best time and hope to continue to book here for the rest of our annual trips. It’s such a convenient location, great access to sit in the river, clean, easy, and always a blast!! Couldn’t recommend more!

Great house right on the river!

Great house right on the river! Enough space for our large group. We are repeat renters and keep coming back for the great location and how spacious it is. The house is always clean and has many amenities. Will be booking for next year real soon!

Great for large groups

There were a lot of things we loved about this house. We traveled with 7 adults and 10 kids ages 8 mths-8 yrs. We loved that the downstairs worked as a game room where the adults could stay up later after the kids were down. We loved that the yard in front of the house was about 50 yards up from the river to allow space for the kids to still play outside. There is also a nice beach cove that allows for chairs/tents and a shallow area for the kids to play. Really family friendly. The pictures are a bit deceiving. The main room no longer has 1 large bed with dressers. It has a queen size bed & a double bunk bed. This worked out better for us. The bottom floor bunk bed is not in a bdrm. It is behind a curtain. The hot water does not work on the upstairs kitchen sink. The exterior stairs are INSANELY slippery when wet. We had 3 pretty big falls from adults that left large black bruises. It was raining, so might be an isolated incident, but it was a big deal for us. Lastly, we were here during the floods and while the river didnt flood the house the rain ran through the bottom floor. The house needs a lot of TLC and probably nothing is to code. The host was very reponsive as we recieved evacution orders and had to leave in an emergency, but never responded to refund requests under VRBOs extenuating circumstances policy. We did really love this house and probably would stay again if we didn't experience a terrible natural disaster, but needs some updates/repairs
