Belle propriété au bord de l'eau de la péninsule avec vue sur le lac et les couchers de soleil à couper le souffle. Beaucoup d'espace pour jouer sur cet appartement, terrain de 1. 5 acres avec plus de 300 pieds de front de mer et une plage privée. Quai spacieux avec plongeoir et eau profonde. Terrasse ouverte nouvellement construite et moustiquaire sous véranda. Une maison modeste mais très confortable de quatre chambres. Les équipements comprennent la verrerie, les couverts, tous les ustensiles, le four à micro-ondes, la cafetière Keurig ... et une nouvelle laveuse et sécheuse, un lave-vaisselle en acier inoxydable, une cuisinière / four électrique, un réfrigérateur. Un barbecue au propane en acier inoxydable et une télévision par satellite (parabolique) sont également inclus. Draps propres fournis ... et beaucoup de serviettes de bain et de plage pour votre séjour. Enfin, profitez des kayaks et des planches à pagaie inclus dans votre location!

Family trip

We had a great vacation in this home! The property was beautiful, clean and well stocked. It was really nice to have linens and beach towels provided for us. The sandy beach area was perfect for little ones to play in the water. We would definitely return!

Lovely home with wonderful veiws

Home was perfect and very clean! Screened in porch was used every day and enjoyed having a ‘beach area’ great dock area and was able to easily tie up our boat, relax in the loungers to read a book. Would highly recommend.

Amazing House and Owners!

We had a fabulous family vacation at this home. Highlights include: extremely clean house/towels/linens, lovely updates, necessary household items provided, clean and comfortable screened in porch, large dock to enjoy every meal on, adorable beach perfect for the kids, and endless paddle boarding, diving board jumping, and fishing. We all had so much fun we wanted to stay.

Always the best week of the year!

This is our third time staying in this home. Like always, it was a wonderful time. The home was clean and has all we needed for an enjoyable and relaxing week on the lake. The private beach is always a hit with our 4 y/o and the dock is great for fishing or tying up a boat. The owners are very communicative and helpful and have a wonderful property. We will certainly be back again next year!!

Cozy stay for family vacay

Thank you for a fantastic family vacation! We were so impressed with the cleanliness of this property, as well as how well stocked it is. The information the owners sent in advance of our stay was most helpful in maximizing our fun at SML. The layout of the home and it’s amenities and views(hello, screened porch! ) were incredible. We have a toddler who loved the sweet trundle bed in the bunk room. Perfect place for a little one to sleep! I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the “beach” at the home which allowed us to play in the water easily as a family. Many thanks to the owners who work very hard to ensure a perfect experience.

Another great stay!

This is the second time my family has stayed at this beautiful property. It was just as I remembered. Same clean stylish house with a wonderful backyard. My oldest daughter was a baby the last time we stayed so we got to enjoy the water a LOT more which was great. And you don't need a boat to enjoy the lake from this home. it has a little beach for the children, a diving board, kayak, and paddle boards. All of which we used every day! With it being COVID season across the country, it was so nice to have the kitchen and grill equipped with all the utensils/tools you would need so you don't have to eat out. Can't wait to come back again and again! P.S. Make sure you buy a loaf of bread to feed the fishies. We actually caught a decent sized catfish from under the jetski and slapped it on the grill that night for dinner!

Peaceful, great location, loved the dock

Book this house! Stop sifting through all the others and stay here. We had a great stay at Amanda and Craig's lakeside retreat. The house was clean, updated and well appointed. No carpet which we loved. Beds comfortable and plenty of towels available. We spent most of our time playing in the large back yard and swimming in the lake. The boys enjoyed jumping off the diving board and we all had fun on the paddle boards and kayaks. The owners remained accessible but we never needed to get in touch with them during our stay. We would stay here again if we made it to the lake again. Only a small suggestion...no ice trays ( we bought ice at the local convienence store) and there wasn't a chopping knife. Otherwise the kitchen was very well appointed. Loved our stay! SML is a great lake btw!!

Beautiful property and wonderful stay!

As soon as you drive up you can see the dock and beach in the back yard. The lot is huge and beach is larger than it seems in the pictures. It was great for the kids who couldn't swim yet and they could touch the bottom and walk around. It made playing in the water much more enjoyable. The house was recently updated and it was very tastefully decorated. It was everything we needed to have a comfortable week. The location of the house is in the back of an old plantation so the houses next door weren't right on top of you and it was very quite. The neighborhood was great for morning walks. The owners were very easy to reach and even notified us of a thunderstorm warning to make sure we were safe. I would HIGHLY recommend this house for a family with kids and if you don't have a boat. We used the paddle boards and kayak every day and my husband was able to fish from the dock. I would definitely stay here in the future.

Amazing Experience

This is our second year staying in this house and we continue to thoroughly enjoy it. The interior is clean and modern with spacious bedrooms. We love cooking in the kitchen, especially because of those lake views! The hosts are responsive and attentive. We didn’t know how to turn on a light and the responded within five minutes. The dock and “beach” can’t be beat!

Relaxing and beautiful dock

The dock was the highlight of our lake stay! It was easy to dock our boat while also enjoying the spacious dock for jumping and swimming. Amazing house & dock!

The listing doesn't do it justice. The house was immaculate with everything you could need for your stay. A massive yard for outdoor games, a dock to relax on and fish off of and a great place to swim. We had an absolutely amazing time and will 100% return to this home in the future.

WOW!!! On Virginia's beautiful Smith Mountain Lake

Everything was stupendous. Owners were easy and great to deal with. The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything you need to enjoy a stay. We always bring various items just in case, but did not need any of them. One single and one double kayak, two paddle boards, a sandy beach, dock, and diving board. Just a great place on a clean, vibrant, yet not overly active part of Smith Mountain Lake. We could not have asked for a better place for the two of us. While we did not need all the beds, 3 comfortable beds for six adults in Queen beds and bunk beds that kids will love. We had a great time and hope to return next year...!

Wonderful property!

Highly recommend! Having never been to SML, the property was wonderful and relaxing for our family of 5. We stayed in mid September. The beach was perfect for our young kids to spend all day in the water while we relaxed on the dock. The diving board was fun on the couple of warm days. Our 6 year olds were exhausted and declared it living their best life! The kayak and paddle boards were so fun to use on the quiet cove. We explored the water quite a bit without a lot of boats nearby. The house was extremely well stocked. Lots of beach towels and bath towels. Kitchen and cleaning supplies were well stocked as well. The owners were great and helpful. We’ll definitely go back!

Wonderful stay

This was our second year at the same property and as lovely as the first one - a pristine clean house that has everything you need for a relaxing lake-side vacation: well supplied kitchen, southern view (meaning sun-filled days), screened-in porch for if you need a break in the shade, great dock + private sandy beach, a rare gem: gently sloped huge front lawn = easy water access, great communication with owners who really want to make your vacation the best it can be. We returned to this great rental and lake

Our family has traveled to a different lake in the US for the last 6 years. This was the first time we went back to a rental and lake. This house is perfect for our family of six. Its clean, clean, clean. It also comes with everything you need. We brought clothes and our boat. And all we bought was groceries. Owners are super helpful with questions and accommodated our early arrival We love the lake. Great for boat rides, swimming and water sports. Plenty of restaurants and activities as well. We will be back!

Great vacation house on SML

This is such a welcoming, beautiful property - with a beautiful bright, light, clean, cozy house and a rare flat walkable lot. Our family loved the big lawn for late afternoon football tosses and the sandy beach for castle building. We caught many a fish right off the dock and enjoyed swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating - you name it... morning coffee on the screen-in porch and evening beverages enjoying the sunset views from the dock. You can’t go wrong with this home away from home!

Perfect Lake Vacation!

This was the perfect house for our family! Everything was incredibly clean and every small detail was thought about in this house. The dock had great wide water views and enough space for all of us, and the Kids loved the diving board! We will definitely be back to this house!

Beautiful home and location!

This was our 4th summer visit to SML and this was by far the best house we have stayed in. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and was SUPER clean. The diving board was a huge hit for the kids. Beautiful sunsets on a fairly quiet cove. It was a perfect week!

We loved staying here. The house was in perfect condition when we arrived. It was clean and ready for a fun filled week at SML. We don’t have anything negative to say about the place. Beds were comfy, kitchen was equipped, the lot was nice and level and perfect for our small children. The paddle boards and kayak were a hit with them. We would love to return as soon as we can. A lot of our evening time was spent on the nice screened in porch. The Strongs were responsive and thorough when answering any questions we had. Check out was a breeze.

SUPER CLEAN HOUSE and AMAZING DOCK!

Everything about our vacation and stay at this property and SML was PERFECT! The owners were easy to work - very informative about the area and of their expectations of caring for their place which was very easy to do. Other VRBO owners leave you with very lengthy checklists which leaves you a little stressed and unsure. Craig and Amanda kept things simple which we appreciated! The house was newly remodeled and was very clean. For our family of 6, this house wasn't too small for us. Everyone had their own bed and multiple spaces (living room, kitchen table for games, screened porch) to relax in. It had everything we needed plus a huge board game selection our kids loved. The fantastic part of this property is the flat yard out to the very large dock and sandy beach. Our kids spent HOURS playing on the beach and jumping off the diving board. The dock was large enough for our family of 6 to relax in chairs plus all our 'stuff'. We brought our own boat and there was plenty of dock space to tie it up. We would definitely make the 15 hour drive from Wisconsin to this property again!!

What an awesome place! Peaceful and beautiful.

This is our first vacation to Smith Mountain Lake, and it won't be our last! Amanda was so welcoming and checked on us to make sure things were ok. The house was clean and comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious, the bathrooms were a little small, but overall the house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The screened in porch was very nice in the evenings, and the large deck with the grill was great for cooking out. The property is on a large point with an awesome boat dock, and a small sandy beach! We used the paddle boards and kayaks provided around the quiet cove nearby. We rented a boat from the marina and had a blast boating, tubing, fishing and swimming around the lake. All in all, we had a wonderful vacation! Thank you again Amanda for your hospitality and sharing your lovely home with us!

Beautiful setting!

Our stay at Smith Mountain Lake was wonderful! This property is a beautiful setting with a lovely home that had everything we needed. The owners kept us informed with all we needed to know. We would love to stay again when we are back in the area!
