We were very pleased with the location of tge property and ease of checking in. The neighborhood is quiet and there is very little trafic. The pillows were old and stained but we brought our own pillows. We would stay there again.
Definitely close to all Brunswick county beaches! Charming little cottage! Love the bed! Very affordable! Could use a bigger ac unit!! Would stay there again!
Had a great stay at the cottage! Location was perfect and gave advantage of 2 great beaches-Ocean Isle and Sunset. You canât go wrong with either one. I loved the screened in porch and sat out there every night just enjoying the quietness of the evening. Easy to book and owner was in contact before stay. Instructions are simple and thereâs an entire binder thatâs very helpful for places to eat and things to do. Would highly recommend to others and I hope to come back and stay again!
Nice little place. The inside lighting could use improvement as the main lights are quite dim. But definitely great for what we needed it for. Neighborhood very peaceful and quiet. The property description needs updating, as there is no longer a community boat ramp and dock .i would stay again.
We love the location and it's perfect for our needs! The price is right and we enjoy the simplicity of the Coop.
It's close to great restaurants, situated between Sunset and Ocean Isle beaches.
The property is located on a quiet street, very close to local shopping and beaches. We arrived in the early morning (3:00 AM) and took only the necessities inside to keep from disturbing the neighbors. There were proper sleeping accommodations, a small, clean kitchen with a very nice fridge (with ice maker) and a family room with a Roku equipped TV. Our only complaint was the internet service was to slow to allow me to log in to do any work on my laptop. I spoke with the property owner who said that it was the best the local ISP could provide. It was totally satisfactory for the broadband based TV and I was able to use my phone to go online so no harm. Overall, very nice place to stay and we would stay there again.
Dirty dishes, cockroach and bug problem, dirty towels and bedsheets, along with half the fans in the bedrooms not working and sound like theyre falling off the roof when on the highest setting. Other than that, okay experience and nice stay. PLEASE, spray for bugs!
The house itself is nice for what the price is and great to sleep and have a place to land while youâre at the beach. But we werenât aware that we had to provide all paper products, cleaning products including hand soap, and the ac didnât work well at all which is why itâs not a full 5 star rating.
Very cramped. Site says cottage sleeps 8 and there were 2 sets of bunk beds.....there is not any bunk bed. The AC didn't cool the house, we had to go buy 3 box fans to get some comfort and the washer makes a loud sqeal noise. Beds need to be replaced. Those mattresses feel like springs are broken in them. But over all the house was a great price for the 3 nights we were there. Cute tiny house... just needs some adjustments. Didn't contact manager due to just was sleeping and eating at cottage. But very uncomfortable.
There were dirty dishes. No internet. No outlet in bathroom. I was unable to use my hair dryer and flat iron. I would not stay there again nor recommend it to friends.
I am not typically one to leave a review, but I felt this property warranted one. Had an issue with the lockbox upon arrival, ultimately our own fault, but it took us 30 minutes to contact the property manager to resolve the issue. House felt old, mostly put together from odds and ends and dollar store finds. Did not seem well taken care of or upkept. Shower had cracked, dirty seals/tiles. Kitchen utensils were mismatched, and some dirty. Fridge upon arrival was not cold enough for proper food storage (49 F), took approximately 7 hours to come to a safe temperature.
Found a ROACH alive in the doorway of the bedroom on 2nd to last night.
Ultimately, if not for the roach, I would be able to call this a cheap, affordable place to stay. The property however needs some considerable repair though, in some of the areas described above. Would also be nice to have a few basic amenities included such as an extra roll of toilet paper (1, single ply roll was included), or some hand soap to wash up with.
The property was very suitable for our needs. We had a little issue with the A/C on our first day but a maintenance guy and HVAC person checked things out and we had AC the remainder of our stay.
It is very centrally located and both beaches we simply beautiful. The listing for this property was accurate. It was quaint and decorated nicely.
