This was a great place to stay. The owners are wonderful and helped us with anything we needed. The place is decorated beautifully and has some of the owners artwork displayed. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. Lots of animals to visit with - chickens, dogs and kitties. A Nice outdoor area with access to a private patio, a hot tub or a pool if you want. There's a beautiful vineyard just behind the guest house. The kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker so it has everything you need. Although it doesn't have a kitchen sink, the owner takes care of everything and all dishes etc are provided. We cooked on the grill outside and it was great. This location was great, just a short drive to the park. It's close to a gas station and coffee shop. Loved this place and would definitely stay again. Please remember you are in the mountains so you will see wildlife, snakes and little critters! Don't freak out if you see a few ants, you are staying in the mountains people! Next time I come back to the park will definitely stay here! We visited from Florida and the owner emailed me all kinds of information before I came out. Wonderful people and beautiful property!
My husband and I purchased this property in 2019. I am an artist and Iâve been making art and teaching art for over 20 years. I have always been drawn to mid-century architecture and design. I love to entertain and Iâm learning to be a better cook!
This home is a historic property that sits on 46 acres including a two acre vineyard. The original portion of the home was built in 1955. All of the stone and lumber for the home was locally sourced. The guest house consists of a large bedroom with a king bed and a double bed in the loft. There is also a huge living room with a kitchenette. The home also has a dartboard and plenty of games and activities! We reside on the property so youâll have privacy when you want it and people here if you need anything!
The benefits of this amazing property are the spacious mid-mod living space and the great combination of quiet and convenience. The proximity to the parks with easy access to 180 canât be beat not to mention the ability to walk to the Clinganâs Junction Coffee Shop and mini-mart at the Valero.
