This place was absolutely perfect. Kimberli was super nice and welcoming, made us feel very welcome. Lots of wildlife in the area, amazing views of the sunset, hiking, swimming, etc. I"d love to come back someday, hopefully we will
Kimberly, the property manager, was very communicative and accommodating. The kitchen was also well-equipped, which enabled us to cook when there. The house had a very homely feeling.
It was a great little place. Very clean and the host was super nice, although we only saw her when we arrived. The grill was brand new and we cooked all of our meals outside. There were turkeys, quail, and all kinds of birds at the feeders. It was a short drive to King's Canyon and Sequoia National Parks which were spectacular. We brought a day's worth of drinking water and refilled at the parks.
Cute cabin that is stocked with all the basics. Itâs in a remote area with limited cell reception and no WiFi, but the local wildlife is providing plenty of entertainment. The windy roads are not for the fearful drivers but itâs only a short drive to the park. Gorgeous areas to visit!
A clean fully supplied cabin close to the national parks. Be prepared for winding roads and cabin is pretty secluded in a nice setting. Kimberli was nice and took care of our needs.
Great location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon
Small wood-paneled cabin with all the usual faciities. One small bedroom with queen bed and a second smaller one with a bunk bed. Adequate for a couple and a single who are good friends, but kids would enjoy it. Location is really good, being in the foothills on a scenic, windy rural road. Incredibly quiet with a view to the lower hills and valley far to the west. Kings Canyon NP is to the north. Somewhat further, heading south will take you down and then up to Sequoia NP. Very nice screened porch for warmer weather. We stayed five nights and enjoyed it. A great place to come back to after driving and hiking all day.
The night before we stayed here, we were at a 5-star hotel. When my partner saw that I had booked a Cabin in the middle of nowhere the next night, the smell of fear and uncertainty was in the air. I almost passed on this property because of the pics online. But when I read the reviews I was sold. It's more like a small house than a cabin. I was afraid to bring food but there is a full kitchen. Everything was spotless. The view and experience was so peaceful. A couple turkeys even wandered by to say hello while we were there. Don't miss this!
We enjoyed our stay at Kimberlieâs cabin. Great outdoor and cozy indoors. Aloof from the city with no noise. The sky was cloudy but on a clear night itâs a great place for sky watching. Our pet Dog also loved the place. Weâd come back !
We arrived later than expected but were thankfully found along the road by our host who was out looking for us. The location was wonderful, twenty minutes from the park entrance. Very quiet and serene. Would definitely go back.
An amazingly cute cabin nestled in gorgeous nature. About a 15 minute drive from Kings and Sequoia National parks its perfect for a real turn-your-phone-off get away.
Cozy inside and out with everything you need! Tons of books, games, puzzles, movie, and windows to get lost in the present.
Kim was also an amazing host and made sure I was prepared and had everything I needed.
Great for our visit to Kings Canyon & Sequoia NPs. Kim was a great host & was quite nice!
This was a great place to stay for our week of sight seeing and hiking! The views here were a sight of there own and the bird life was a dream! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was quite comfy! Be aware this is a very remote location so have all supplies before you get there, also roads are very narrow and winding.
Cabin was perfect for 2 people. The place was fully stocked and clean inside. We got to meet Kimberli, our host. She was very sweet and made us feel right at home. It was a perfect location as it was in close proximity to Kings Canyon and Sequoia Natâl Parks.
Highly recommend this property!
This cabin was nice and secluded. Very peaceful. We enjoyed watching the animals from the porch. The house was clean and stocked. The bed was very comforable. Kimberli was a great host.
Very private and peaceful! The house was very clean and well stocked with everything needed. I enjoyed watching the birds, turkeys, and deer from the front porch! Just 20 minutes from the park entrance :) Highly recommend!
Very much enjoyed my stay at this property! Hosts were very friendly and helpful and made sure I made it safe. Close to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks too. Be sure to get there during the daylight as the roads are very twisty, turny. Definitely would recommend!
Good location near the parks, beautiful view, ton of animals (hummingbirds, wild turkeys) nearby. Cabin was small, but comfortable. Kimberli was great -- friendly and helpful.
We had an amazing stay at the Sleepy Raccoon Cabin!
A beautiful peaceful cabin location just minutes outside of Sequoia and Kings Canyon parks.
We loved sitting on the porch every morning sipping coffee and observing the wildlife. Outstanding views of the mountains & valley from the porch! We were graced with daily visits from some wild turkey, a beautiful doe, quail, hummingbirds and song birds.
The park was a short drive from the cabin (20 minutes). We found many wonderful hiking options, and our host Kimberli provided several great suggestions and tips.
The cabin was very cozy and comfortable (we visited during a heatwave). The A/C kept the cabin cool during the extreme daytime temperatures. Early AM and evening temps were perfect for porch sitting. I personally loved laying on the hammock!!
The cabin was well stocked with the essentials including a hair dryer!! Hot water and water pressure were great! Kimberli has a great variety of books and games, too!
Kimberli is a fantastic host! She communicated with us and provided suggestions prior to our arrival and during our stay. Always friendly and attentive!!
Kimberli, thank you for an amazing peaceful retreat! Paul and I plan to return this fall to see the foliage!!

I have tried to put everything in the cabin that I think I would want to have if I was coming up to a home away from home but keeping it simple and uncluttered. The only thing you will need to bring is your food supplies and toiletries. and personal items.
