This was our first time visiting Tucson, and staying in this house made the experience truly relaxing and comfortable. Mary responded to all my questions quickly, which made everything even smoother. Thanks to this wonderful stay, our trip was amazingâand if I get the chance to come back, Iâll definitely choose this place again!
My children and i went to say goodbye to say goodbye to my father in law that was on hospice. He and his wife have lived in the neighborhood for almost 30 years, and love it very much, as do we. I was so grateful to find this place less than a half mile away in the same neighborhood. The home was a serene place to come and rest after some very long and sad days.
House is beautiful, in a beautiful quiet neighborhood with outstanding views of the Santa Catalina Mountains and the Tucson Valley. Comfortable, roomy, great working kitchen, well equipped. Extensive outdoor sitting areas. Would easily accommodate 3 couples, or a large family. One caveat. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are very steep. Not a problem for us, but they would challenge anyone mobility impaired.Very effective and prompt communication from the property manager. We loved this place. I expect weâll be back.
House was very pleasing aesthetically and immaculate! Close to great neighborhoods for restaurants, local markets and curios.
The upstairs bedroom/bath was a delightful aerie, but the stairs might be challenging if you were at all unsteady.
Mary our host was super responsive and helpful.
My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay in this Catalina Foothills home. The accommodation is somewhat no frills but has very comfy beds, plenty of sunlit space, an adequate kitchen and beautiful views. Communication for check in was a breeze. We will be back for more fun hiking in the desert and soaking in the sunshine!
Beautiful desert location, there was plenty of space being just the two of us. House had everything we needed, disappointed that the bbq grill wasnt working.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property! All the necessities and extras were provided. The inside of the home is beautiful with two lovely renovated bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Renovating the kitchen, a few repairs to the exterior, and cleaning up the landscaping around the house would make this a truly luxury rental, but we would definitely stay here again without those changes. A small wardrobe in the upstairs bedroom to hang clothes would be a nice addition, but the two bedrooms on the main floor have ample closet space. The Oracle Estates neighborhood was a joy. The neighborhood is quiet with great views of the mountains on one side and downtown Tucson on the other side, yet just a few minutesâ drive from many restaurants, grocery stories, Ora Valley, Catalina Foothills, and several national and state parks. We ended most of our days with an evening walk around the beautiful neighborhood where everyone who passed us waved, whether in a car or on foot!
The wooden front door is lovely, but sticks. We were worried we might break it but it tolerated a good push to open it. We look forward to staying here again!
Although our trip was short, this location and property is beautiful. This house was clean, cute and nice floor plan. The patio was relaxing and has a great view of the city lights at night. The communication with the property manager was really easy and convenient and she responded quickly. I would definitely recommend this property and I would stay here again.
Really cool location in hills with Mountain & Desert Viewâs through every window. Somewhat removed from city life, yet so close. A wonderful older neighborhood with such interesting history. We heard coyotes singing at night, saw hummingbirds and lizards during day. Bathrooms were updated and nice, mattress upstairs was comfortable. Would be awesome to have screens on the sliding doors to leave them ajar when weather allows. House appears to be undergoing some sort of renovation work on the back part of the house. These homes are historic so I am sure there is always something to work on! We enjoyed our stay!
We wanted to take our granddaughters on a trip before time slipped away and they would have jobs/events etc. We loved the property and the proximity to Oracle Drive. I found the mountain view mesmerizing.
We rented the property for family visiting over Thanksgiving. The location is great. It's a modern house with lots of light. It's a very quiet location. The house had everything they needed to be comfortable for the week.
Great property and good location for us - ages 7 to 77. Very clean and uncluttered. Quiet neighborhood with nice streets for walking. Easy access to all areas.
Sitting at the base of the Catalina Foothills with large windows looking out nearly every side and an expansive patio, the house provided beautiful views of the natural desert vegetation, mountains, sunrises and sunsets, and city lights in the valley at night. The house sits in a nice neighborhood with large lots and natural areas between the properties, making the home feel very private.
The house feels light and airy with high ceilings and lots of natural light. Everything worked well, but the kitchen and bathrooms have not be updated in awhile. The Nest A/C and heating system functioned very well and were easy to operate.
The beds and furniture were very comfortable and functional. When we asked about additional blankets and a gas tank refill for the grill, Mary was very responsive sending supplies over immediately. We were impressed.
We like to cook and thus appreciated that the kitchen was outfitted with a set of sharp knives, and all the cookware, dishes and appliances we needed.
Overall, the three of us found the home to be spacious, comfortable, and well located to all kinds of shopping, good restaurants, and local attractions like the wonderful Tohono Chul Gardens and St. Phillips Plaza. We recommend a stay here!
The outdoor space is fantastic, great spot to hang out in the mornings and evenings. Excellent location, convenient to some really nice hiking in that area. The home was roomy (there were 2 couples in our group) and clean and had everything we could possibly need. Great place to stay in Tucson.
Delightful location in close-in foothills of Tucson.
Close to Oracle Road corridor with easy access to all manner of shops, restaurants and golfing venues, but located in a very natural setting with lots of birds and other wildlife. Nicely situated with spacious patio for great sunsets and mountain views. . Our host, Mary, was most accommodating to several special requests resulting in a very relaxing month long stay.
We had a nice stay , somehow missed that the Master was upstairs but worked out! Amazing view and even got to watch a bobcat stroll through the hills! Nice time!
A very nice and comfortable home with great views. Nice neighborhood that is convenient to almost everything in Tucson. I really appreciate that the home is pet friendly. But be sure not to leave your pets unattended as there are coyotes in the neighborhood. I would rent this home again!
I grew up in Tucson and a large portion of my family lives there so it was an easy choice when selecting a location for another rental property. I fell for this light filled house and its high beamed ceilings and panoramic views of the desert. I had to have it. I will be upgrading the kitchen and bathrooms very soon.
