We only came down for the two nights, three would have been perfect.
Communication through real estate was pretty poor. Had to chase up what was going on as I didnât hear anything of day of arrival, collected keys which had a big list of âconditionsâ to be followed. Simple enough but no specified amount of bond was ever communicated.
Day into our stay a large amount of money was taken from my account despite no communication of this and wasnât returned until a week later. Certain people that handled my chase up of this seemed somewhat annoyed and to be honest - made me feel stupid. I believe the overall experience to be okay but wasnât great for me to go through while trying to take a break.
Arrived at the property and no cleaning had been done, used towels used bed linen, Mugs had been used. However once we spoke to the Host this was rectified immediate, other than that the accommodation was fine
This was a great getaway spot for the two of us. As had been mentioned in previous review all of the issues previously listed had been fixed up. Great location on Bombo beach can see the waves from the balcony and be in the water in minutes.
Good to have a car to drive in to town as straight up hill walk to Kiama town centre.
Would stay again.
This property was a nice place to stay for a few days. The maintenance mentioned in the past reviews has been completed. Nearby train runs regularly throughout the day and freight trains a couple of times during the night was minimised by the agent. Also there is a single sofa bed that was not advertised nor known when I asked. This was very handy. Overall is was a cosy place in a lovely location and pleasant (but steep in places) walk into town to enjoy the cafes, shops and sights!
Good location - right at the beach, easy walk into Kiama, partially good views.
Cupboard door in kitchen broken, toilet seat stained ($40 replacement seat from Bunnings would fix that problem), shower head leaked when turned on - water in all the wrong directions, almost impossible to lock the front door, linen provided but towels were pretty thin.
