Kamaole Sands #5106: This ground-floor beach home boasts a “walk right out your back door” convenience to pools, spa, BBQs, updated exercise room, and 15 acres of gardens, waterfalls, and ponds on the property. Tasteful tropical style, open design living space, and two-bath convenience make this 818sf ground floor suite an ideal home away from home for families and friends.

Sit back and unwind in the bright living room space featuring sliding-glass doors, soothing artwork, and tropical colors throughout. Modern furniture offers guests plenty of places to lounge or enjoy a movie on the flat-screen television. The large sofa pulls out to a queen-sized pull-out bed, and a designated dining area easily fits a party of four.

Adjacent to the living room is the beautiful private lanai where you will be surrounded by the 15-acres of garden views. Patio furniture allows guests to soak in the island breeze while sipping wine at sunset.

Did you find local specialty items at the market? The fully-equipped kitchen provides everything you will need to prepare a feast from home. A large kitchen space doubles as a prep area. Brand-name appliances include an electric stove, oven, full-sized refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. Begin your day brewing your chosen complimentary local Hawaiian coffee in the coffee maker.

After a day of adventure, sleep easy in a comfortable DreamCloud Premier king bed in the private bedroom that has a dresser and a second flat-screen television.

Other features include wood-like flooring, Hawaiian artwork, split air-conditioning (recently upgraded), two ceiling fans, in-suite washer/dryer, dishwasher, WiFi, DVD and two flat-screen TVs. Both bathrooms have granite countertop vanities, modern lighting and walk-in showers with rain showerheads. Sleeps 4 in 1 DreamCloud Premier king bed and 1 queen-sized pull-out sofa with a 5-inch memory foam mattress.

Located directly across from Kamaole Beach Park III, these air-conditioned condos let guests slip away from daily demands in relaxing style. Stay active on the property, and don't miss the weekly pool party from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM with LIVE Hawaiian music and hula dancing.

Great condo

Condo was clean and stocked with beach towels, chairs, boogie boards. Location of condo was great-can walk to shops and restaurants. Walking distance to Kihei boat launch. View for patio was wonderful

Great complex DIRTY unit

Got into our unit late at night, noticed how dirty it was but were tired from a long travel day so we put up with it. Woke up in the morning and needed to clean the whole unit ourselves. It looked like it hadn’t been touched since the previous guests. There was visible dust all over the walls and on top of the door frames, sand everywhere, and the toilets and showers were disgusting. Also, this unit has an ant problem. Having been to Hawaii numerous times, you’re bound to come across some insects in your condo. But this was on a whole different level. So much so, we didn’t even want to prep our own meals in the kitchen. We ended up contacting our host who passed us along to the hotel staff and they were generous enough to move us into a much nicer unit. The complex in general was great. Nice pool, beautiful grounds and great proximity to the beach. I would definitely come back to this complex, but definitely not this unit. It requires a massive deep clean as well as a few more updates to be any where near worth renting for the high price that we paid.

No communication from Castle Resorts

Had to move condos because Castle Resorts did not communicate that they had sold the property I booked. The Kamaole crew were kind and helpful. The condo we ended up with when my family arrived had the Murphy beds and couch set up we needed, but the rest of that condo was not up to standards of the original booking. The dryer was rusted, and left stains on our clothes. The kitchen could use some better tools. We love Kamaole Sands but will book with private parties in the future.

Not the unit we reserved


When we arrived to kamaole sands upon checkout we realized right away that the unit we reserved was not the same one we were given. We specifically wanted to be in building 5 to be close to the pool and to other family that was staying in the same building. We were in a hurry to get to a dinner cruise so we begrudgingly accepted the room in building 10. This unit did not have a king size bed (we co sleep with our baby) so this made our entire vacation harder. The unit needs new beds, new pillows, new bedding. The drain does not work in the shower in the first room. The kitchen is ok
knives are so dull we could barely cut fruit. Definitely not our favorite unit in Kamaole sands and I’ll be sure to be more selective next time I book. Sleep is important on vacation.
