Beautiful getaway.

This was a nice sized house with plenty of room for the 8 guests we had. The back porch with all the trees was relaxing and private. It was easy to communicate with the owner and the property manager when we had a small issue come up. I really appreciated that. We would stay here again.

This was truly a great place to stay. We all appreciated having 3 king beds & 3 separate bathrooms. We also enjoyed the deck after coming back from our daily activities. It was convenient to get to the highway.

Nice digs and a perfect location

We used this great house as our home-base for our trip to Northern Arizona and the Grand Canyon. The location was convenient to all the sights, the house fit our needs wonderfully, and was located in a quiet neighborhood on a golf course. What more could you ask for?

Quiet and Relaxing

Perfect location in Flagstaff. Close to restaurants and downtown, but hidden away from the hustle and bustle. The pictures didn’t do it justice. A perfect getaway at the base of a picturesque Mountain View.

The house and location was perfect. Very nicely done, and everything was as expected. We had a summer storm and the area lost power for a couple of hours, but we kept busy. (One helpful item would be to have spare batteries. We found two flashlights, but no batteries - not real helpful in a blackout at night.The tech needs some help. The TV remotes didn’t work, and it took som figuring out. Had to do everything manually in the end.

Beautiful home in wonderful location

This house is lovely. It is on the golf course and there is a great walking trail around the golf course for use in the early morning and evening. The family area is perfect for hanging out and relaxing, playing board games, etc. We had a few problems during our stay (the dishwasher broke) and the owner and his crew responded quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

The people who owned the house were very nice. The house itself had many issues. Our bedroom door was not able to close completely and the bed was broken. The sliding doors did not have any screens, so we could not get very much fresh air because there were so many mosquitos. My daughter and I spent a lot of time cleaning grime off of doors and walls. There was no working vacuum cleaner, so it was hard to clean the rugs. And a few of the light fixtures didn't work properly, and just strobed when we turned them on.

Everything appeared to be in good order during our pre-arrival inspection. We’re always happy to assist guests during their stay, and we would have welcomed the opportunity to resolve any concerns in real time.-Before your stay, we walked through the home to ensure it was in excellent condition and replaced any needed light bulbs. Additional replacements were available during your visit, and we would have promptly addressed any concerns if brought to our attention.-We chose not to install screen doors to maintain an open, airy feel, but we appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration. While mosquito issues are uncommon, we understand how that could be bothersome and appreciate you sharing your experience.Thank you for your feedback about your stay!

Comfortable, Relaxing Accommodations

Perfect location allowing access to many sites with awesome views for our family Thanksgiving get away. Particularly enjoyed our train ride from Williams to Grand Canyon. Spacious sitting area with fireplace - great for chatting, enjoying sports and movies, playing games. Spacious bathrooms and comfortable king beds provided for great sleeping. Large kitchen, refrigerator and double ovens allowed us to prepare our Thanksgiving feast, which included a 22 lb turkey with all the trimmings. Dining table accommodated all of us. Outside BBQ was useful for cooking other meals. Unfortunately weather was cold so we couldn’t enjoy large decks which looked inviting. Very enjoyable week for our extended family of 10.

Won’t be back…

The real property is beautifully situated with a golf course view. However, I paid over $2,000 for two nights and received a disappointing stay in a home that was poorly maintained. There were no kitchen towels or hot pads in the kitchen. The sponges were grungy and should be replaced between guest stays. The k-cups and dishwashing tabs were in a different room that took us a day to find. Some of the baking pans were black from burnt on oil and food. The throw pillows in the living room had tattered edges. The chandelier in the great room had 3 of the 5 light bulbs burnt out. One of the bathroom sinks in the master had the hot water completely turned off. My bath towel in the master had a large hole in it. I had previously confirmed with the management team that the gas grill on the back patio was ready to use and arrived to find a filthy grill that required cleaning before it could be used.. Several of the painted switch plates were chipped around the switch from overuse and lack of proper maintenance. This home was an older property but that is no excuse for its level of disrepair. I will not be renting this property again nor would I recommend it to a friend.

After sending your feedback to the owner, they’d like to share the following:- We have talked with our cleaning crew to ensure that this issue does not recur for future travelers.- I just had the water line stop valve to the master bathroom sink replaced and they may have forgotten to twist the valve back on after so I do apologize for this inconvenience.- We wish you would have reached out to the owners during your stay. They would have been more than happy to help with any issues while you were in residence to make your stay most comfortable.Thank you for sharing your review. So many things broken and it is a dated property

So first things that are positive:-it is in a great neighborhood. -The bones of the cabin are good, the porch etc.Negatives- We paid alot of money for this cabin and it was not worth that much AT ALL. -main living room tv had 5 remotes and not one of them would turn on the tv. We had no tv until day 3. Tv in the bedroom also didn't work.-fireplace didn't work. It seemed like a gas one but there were ashes and burnt wood in it. THey didn't attempt to fix it for us.-No money back for our trouble was offered. -They didn't respond to any of my texts. My friend had to try the next day (day 3)and then they finally sent someone to fix the tv. One of our friends had to stay home from skiing to wait for the repair person!!-Very dated decor, frayed entry rug, just looked old and not kept up well. We had 8 people staying and they only have a tiny coffee pot and did not supply filters. We had to go to the store in the morning to get some. No dishwasher tabs- we also had to buy those ourselves. -Check out was a strict 10 AM which is early in my opinion. THey said they would charge us 300 if we were later than that.-Master bedroom has cut outs in the wall-there are wood shutters over them but it does not help the noise if people are downstairs hanging out.-It was so dark throughout the house, we had to use flashlights to play a board game at the dining table.I would not recommend staying here.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - We did not receive any messages from you until day 3 and when we did we went over within a couple of hours to fix the issue with the TVs and you said you were just confused and everything was fine. - The fireplace is a gas unit and has a constant supply that is directly hooked up to the house it is always fully operational and we have not had any issues with it. If you were unsure how to use we would have been happy to assist. - We're sorry you did not enjoy the decor we took great care to make it homey and are very pleased with the outcome. - We have 2 coffee pots available for our guests and filters are provided. - The check-out time is one that we have found most short-term rentals use if you had asked for a later time we would have allowed it if we could. - We have never had any complaints about the lighting unless there was a burnt-out bulb, which we could have replaced. - We wish you had brought up a lot of these issues while you were at the property we are always willing to assist as quickly as we can. We want to ensure you have a good trip and we'll do the best for you.We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Loved the location right on the golf course. Every night people would gather on the course with kids and dogs and it was a wonderful time. The kitchen could use some help. There was only one kitchen towel for a 6 day stay. There were only 4 spoons. There was not a decent non stick pan. There was not a set of pans for cooking. The house is listed as having a well stocked kitchen. I would not agree with that description. It would be fine for someone who was not cooking but since we had small children we were eating most meals at the house.

Beautiful View, Spacious Home

Beautiful location, mostly quiet despite being directly on the golf course (dogs in the neighborhood would bark periodically after dark and an occasional train whistle). Back porch was peaceful, especially in the evenings and the view was just what we needed. Kitchen well-equipped (although we couldn’t find a full-sized colander) and the open spaces were appreciated. We were glad we came early in the summer, however, as we found that no A/C was a challenge in the daytime. Evenings were cool and comfortable with doors and windows open but no screens on most doors and windows meant house filled with bugs. Communication with owner before and during stay was easy and quick. Overall, a fantastic stay.

The perfect spot!

This home was perfect for us! The location was beautiful and we had such a great stay! We were close enough to downtown but far enough away to relax and enjoy the scenery on the back patio. We even got to meet several of the neighbors and they were all so kind!

Disappointed

The house was nice. Looked good on the pics. Got up there and the garbage cans outside were full and overflowing. Finger marks on silverware. Plates too large to run in the dishwasher because the top blade would hit them so they had to be hand washed. Excessive dirt on one of the bedroom fans. Outside grounds were very unkept. We had to call the management company twice re/ where to put the garbage and how to get the heater on since it was very cold outside and inside. It would have been nice if the heat would have been turned on so the house would've been warm when we got there. Disappointed and won't plan on staying there again

Hi Kathy, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: We want to apologize that your stay was not a 5-star since we always want to make sure our guests' stays are enjoyable and exceed expectations. All silverware is cleaned between guests and all the dishes are standard sizes except for the specialty ones we have. We will make sure to resolve any issues ASAP. We have professional landscapers and groundskeepers who have always taken meticulous care of our property. I am extremely sorry that it was unsatisfactory. We encourage guests to reach out to us while they are in residence with any issues so that we can address any concerns quickly for a most comfortable stay. During the time of your stay, there were heavy snowstorms that impacted trash maintenance and upkeep, but we will make sure to correct this in the future. We always attempt to leave the temperature in the house in a comfortable setting for when guests arrive. There was an unknown issue that occurred before your arrival and I am glad that it was able to be corrected quickly. Please do not hesitate to contact us during your stay about all your concerns so we can correct them as efficiently as possible. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!

Location, location, location

Overall this house is just fine. The location is prime, with beautiful views. Just walk out back and you have plenty of room to walk, play and roam in the snow. The house is good enough but could definitely use some revamping of all sorts. A fresh coat of paint maybe. The mattresses need to be replaced and the decor is pretty dated. Also, some of the lights weren’t working which made the little light that was there difficult to see and use the rooms as intended, especially the dining area. But for the price and again the location it is a good house with a lot of potential. The cleaning service could have done a better job but the guests before us had issues leaving and they were rushing to get us in on time. But overall we did enjoy our stay and enjoyed all we had access to just out our backdoor.
