Convenient location with easy access to parks, beaches and shopping areas. One park at the bottom of the street, with a small shopping complex nearby too.
Great place to stay⊠very quiet and relaxing. The owner of the property was lovely and very helpful! And it was just a short drive to the beach and nice cafes!
Good location. More or less the middle of the Sunny Coast. So it's easy to get around. Pet friendly location, and a lot of pet friendly beaches nearby.
Roomy, pleasant property in a very quiet street.
Susan was helpful and friendly, and we felt very comfortable staying at her place.
It was lovely to be greeted on arrival and farewelled on the departure.
Didn't stay. Booked wrong, didnt mention my dogs which was an issue for this "pet friendly" unit. Felt uncomfortable from the start as did the host. Horrible experience.
No a/c - we were lucky the nights were cool. Needs pest control- baby roaches everywhere. The.No washer, no dryer and don't leave the exhaust fan going when you have a shower. Loud thumping and banging was disturbing
Perfect for a few days R n R. No washing machine so staying longer than a few days would be difficult. Located close by to everything. Nice walking paths close by. Great that there is a pool!. Nice sea breezes. No fence so if you have a dog that likes to explore this may be an issue.
What a great spot Susan has. We loved our stay, it's been so insanely hot lately that being able to walk out the door and jump into the beautiful pool was as refreshing as it was sleeping in the spacious bedroom with open windows with garden breeze under the fan and also only 4min from beautiful Dicky Beach. Open style with big doors looking out provided a nonstop beautiful cool breeze. Our 2 dogs loved it and lounged around in between pool swims and beach trips. Everything we needed was provided and so close to shops, restaurants etc. We had 3 wonderful days here and loved the accomodation, the host and the area. We highly recommend đ
Lovely host, convenient location, average property.
Sussan was a fabulous host, she meet us on arrival and said hi and was so helpful in coordinating with me to pick up an item a few days that was left at the property. Grateful that this was a dog friendly property, however please note there are no fences to keep your pup secure. Property could be a real gem with some TLC, reasonable for the price, location and amenities. Convenient location to Caloundra and it's beaches, not far from others areas of the Sunny Coast, relatively quiet neighbourhood. The listing could be updated to clearly show that the property is the lower floor of a 2 storey property. This means that there is some noise (not excessive, but noticeable) coming from everyday movement upstairs. The lounge area is spacious, kitchen functional and bedroom is a reasonable size. There are no closets for hanging items, the shower toilet area is functional but very cosy, there are no screens on the external doors meaning that you need to deal with the insects or keep the doors closed. The outdoor lawns/area was due to be mowed/tidied. The pool we didn't use as the area needed some tidy up, furniture cleaning etc, and we didn't feel it was inviting. BBQ not usable and rusty, should be updated on the listing.
The place is under a house. There are dangerous wires strung across posts? The crockdry and cutlery are dirty. The lady who owns tge place sent an email to bring in her bins not happy
There were just a few touches lacking. No milk, which is a nice touch especially when no shops close by and no warning of said , no milk. The tops of the coffee and tea containers were dusty as were the toilet roll holder ,(very dusty) and extractor fan. There were no finials on the curtain rail in the bedroom so the rail fell down when the curtains were opened.one could go on. The property is advertised as a villa, which suggests a stand alone building and should state o âa flat beneath the owners houseâ .it is also advertised as wheelchair friendly, only possible it the toilet and shower were not needed.so this also needs to be amended.
It also felt intrusive when the owner phoned us downstairs to say we had left the extraction fan on. It was also very noisy late into the night with what sounded like furniture being moved. This occurred on both nights. The owner seemed friendly enough , and was close in location to where I had medical appointments. It was spacious too but I will not be staying there again or recommending the accommodation at this stage
I enjoy being in the garden and have banana trees and a pumpkin patch. The pool is great to swim in after aworking day. The beach walks are supplemented by a bike and walking track that runs parrallel to Dicky and provides a safe shady option in bad weather. You can ride all the way to Pt Cartwright and also down to Golden Beach on well maintained bike tracks.
Private and quiet close to National Parks on the doorstep of our beautiful hinterland where you can discover waterfalls and bush tracks during the day. Wineries and cheese places in Maleny only 30 minutes' drive. Beautiful beaches and restaurants on the pumicestone passage where you can enjoy fishn chips looking towards the glasshouse mountains. Mountain bike riding close by on Sugar Bag Rd enjoy a morning coffee there within walking distance.
Dog friendly with dog beaches close by and park down the road. Cool and breezy in summer this place is your springboard to discover all the attractions of a tourist area.Dicky beach has an off lead area north of Dicky beach between Currimundi Lake and Dicky Beach. Signs on beach will direct you tp the areas. The Moffat beach has dogs permitted before 8.00 am and aftter4.00pm.
