Melbourne Waterfront - 2 Bed 2 Bath - Entire Apartment
Watch the sunrise in this charming two bed, two bath upstairs suite overlooking the Indian River Lagoon. Featuring two king bedrooms, a spacious living area, two bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen and more. The Ballard Estate is a historic, century old, riverfront home situated in a quiet neighborhood with breathtaking views. Access to our private docks, outdoor living areas, kayaks and a garden gazebo means you wonât need to venture off the property to take in all the natural beauty this area has to offer. Must use stairs to access suite. No elevator on site.
This is a lovely historic home with a lot of room! Its location is ideal as you can walk to nice restaurants and bars. We loved sitting and reading at the little beach as well. Easy access to beaches along A1A. Very clean and well organized.
Beautiful property on a beautiful waterfront site. The house is very handsome if showing its age a bit in spots, everything was clean and functioning (although it would be nice to be able to open a few windows-but that is my only complaint). The little arts district an easy walk away features some nice shopping, great coffee and several nice places to eat/drink. I highly recommend this place!
Really beautiful property on the water. It's located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I was traveling alone and felt very safe on the property as well as running in the surrounding area. The other folks I ran into onsite were kind and friendly. The property manager was very responsive and communication was seamless. The building is a historical site so the walls are thin and you can hear you neighbors, but it's also really charming with a gorgeous view. So, my recommendation is rather than miss out, pack some earbuds/earplugs if the noise is going to bother you. I had a terrific experience and am looking forward to coming back.
Second stay at the Ballard House and I know I will be back. Great location in EGAD and I canât say enough about the lagoon front location. The units are well appointed and super comfortable beds. I like to sleep in on vacation and I get a great night sleep here.
Property managers and property great, people downstairs no so great. Lots of noise and multiple parking problems. Amplified rap
Music in back yard. People in detached unit took over that side of yard.Property manager did their best to deal with it. Just beware that you will not be alone when renting here.
I love how they have preserved the elegant charm of this 100 year old Estate. The lush flowers and trees as you drive to the Estate and all around the Estate was just beautiful. One thing I would recommend Is to maybe bring an extension cord or power strip as it is a very old home so outlets are few and far between and it seems now everything needs charged and letâs throw in a Cpap. But we survived without one but would suggest it specially if you have the Cpap. I will 100% stay here again when I am back to Melbourne.
We came with our family of four for a short waterfront visit to the Melbourne area. The rooms were set up well, the beds comfortable and all our needs were met. The hosts have it down and seem to have everything pulled together. They have other properties too. The highlight of our trip was seeing the dolphins and the manatees from the dock. We will come for a visit again hopefully sooner than later.
We loved the uniqueness of this historic property. The owner and manager were quick to answer our questions and needs. There are just a couple of things we missed not having and that was a dishwasher, garbage disposal, bathroom curtain, and a dresser or armoir in the bedrooms. Some hangers were provided but only in one closet. Laundry facilities on site, grocery store and gas station nearby. Enjoyed seeing dolphin, manatee, and a variety of birds each morning. Simply beautiful and would definitely book again!
