Retraite privée au Danemark avec une vue imprenable

Situé sur 5 hectares de haut sur le mont Shadforth, Serendeva est votre coin de paradis privé. Conçu sur le plan architectural et offrant une vue panoramique imprenable sur l'entrée Wilson de l'océan, votre retraite est isolée, mais proche de la ville et des restaurants.
Nous partageons notre bloc avec les kangourous et l'incroyable vie des oiseaux. Imaginez-vous en train de vous détendre avec un verre de vin sur les vastes vérandas ou blotti sur un canapé confortable devant un feu rugissant.
Serendeva est l'endroit idéal pour une escapade romantique ou des vacances en famille.
Serendeva a été conçu par l'architecte local, Hermann Fehr, pour tirer le meilleur parti de son emplacement magnifique et pour relier les espaces de vie à la nature à travers de vastes espaces extérieurs. Il y a un merveilleux sentiment d'isolement et de sérénité, tout en étant à seulement quelques minutes du cœur de la ville.
Il y a 3 chambres à coucher hors d'une cuisine principale / salle à manger et salon. Toutes les zones de couchage sont bien séparées pour plus d'intimité et deux ont leur propre accès à la véranda pour ce verre de vin privé pendant que vous regardez la nature passer. Toutes les chambres ont des couvertures et des radiateurs supplémentaires pour les nuits froides d'hiver.
Il y a deux salles de bains équipées de douches et de beaux carrelages en pierre
Le magnifique coin cuisine a tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour des vacances parfaites, y compris une machine à café Nespresso pour votre petit matin. Nous fournissons certains articles de base pour vous aider à démarrer.
Il y a deux nouveaux canapés 3 places remplis de plumes dans le salon afin que vous puissiez vous recroqueviller devant le feu avec un verre de vin.
Dehors, il y a tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour un grand barbecue en famille. Nous avons un Webber Q et une grande table avec des bancs pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes.
Sous la maison il y a une buanderie avec laveuse et sécheuse à utiliser si vous en avez besoin.
Serendeva est sur un réservoir d'eau de pluie, donc l'eau du robinet est croustillante et délicieuse!

Beautiful location. Back to nature. Quiet and serene. Location to town, beaches and walking trails, spot on. Even in the middle of a cold and rainy winter we had a gloriously warm and relaxing stay.

Stunning home

We had an awesome week in denmark staying at this amazing property. The views are incredible, plenty of space to relax but still felt cosy on rainy days. The location is perfect for the beach, wineries and exploring the national parks. We can't wait to book our next visit, this is our new favourite property in the area :)

Serenity at serendeva

We arrived in the dark and when woke the next day, no words can describe to view......breathtaking doesn't do it justice. The house was clean, tidy and provided us everything we needed for a great week. Highly recommend this property.

Serendeva

Serendeva is like a home away from home, but better. We’ve just had our second long stay at the house and have loved every minute all over again. The view is breathtaking, the house is well presented, the beds are so comfortable and it has all the amenities you could need. I could sit on the balcony for hours just staring at the view and watching the birds… absolute bliss. You might as well just lock us in for annual visits for the foreseeable future!

Great stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and cosy especially on the couple of wet days we had. It is as lovely as depicted on the website. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our evening meals and the beds were very comfortable. The views were fantastic from the sunny mornings to afternoons watching the storms come in. Can highly recommend though the stairs might cause a problem for anyone with mobility issues. Hope to return.

Great stay

We had a lovely 5 day stay - this property was very comfortable and cosy. The house was as depicted on the website. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our evening meals. The views were fantastic from the sunny mornings to watching storms come on wet days. Would definitely recommend though think the stairs might be a problem for people with mobility issues. Hope to return.

Serenity With Amazing Views

The property is close to Denmark and enjoys a rural setting & magnificent views. Check in process easy and kept well informed. Quiet and has everything you need for very comfortable living. Wineries, beaches and restaurants close by and after a busy day, just sitting on the balcony with drink in hand the perfect end to each day. Internet and TV instructions somewhat challenging at times, and some comfortable outside chairs would be nice, but small suggestions and overall was excellent and would stay again.

Stunning Serendeva

Outstanding views over the valley watching the light change as the sun rises, coffee in hand. A glass of red watching the light change as the sun sets in the evening from one of the many choices of balcony areas. The most spectacular sky of stars I have seen in quite a while. We also had the most magnificent double rainbow across the valley. Such a lovely house, so well equipped. and looked after and really accessible to the wineries, parks, beaches, city centre and distilleries. We absolutely loved our five days in our most favourite part of WA. Thank you so very much to the owner of the property and to Gina at SC Escapes, we finally made it :)

Access

Overall property, location and stay was good except for the fact the only access to the house is up many stairs which is not good on "aged" knees and hips, there is no ground level access which would have helped immensely.

Sorry to hear you felt that access was an issue. Please note that we do mention in our listing description that due to the amount of stairs this house may be unsuitable for the elderly. Our photos also show how many stairs there are and we do specifically say in one of our photo captions the following "Entrance to the house is up two flights of stairs from the carpark area". We do manage other flat, ground floor holiday homes in Denmark, so hopefully we can provide one of these for you next time with prior notice. Many thanks

Most relaxing holiday

Beautifully designed house, with amazing views. It was lovely to sit with the fire burning watching the rain roll through the hills. The house has everything you need for cooking delicious meals. The only sad part of the stay was the spa bath not being connected due to water shortages.

In regards to the spa bath, the reason we do not list this property as even having a spa bath is to avoid disappointment, so guests do not expect there is one there & we are not advertising it falsely. We agree it is a big shame it cannot be used but as the property only has rainwater from their tank for water supply, water usage needs to be limited to only the essential as I am sure you can understand. Spectacular Accommodation

The house was well equipped for everything you could possibly think of. DVDs, games, puzzles, books... All so you can enjoy the fire and soak in the view on those rainy days. Close to the town of Denmark and all local attractions. This place was one of the best houses we have stayed in. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing property with us.

Nice spot

Nice place to stay with family glad we had the spa after walking Bluff Knoll! A few details could improve the stay. One more comfy chair in the lounge room our party consisted of 4 adults a teenager and a baby extra seating would have been nice. Outdoor seating could also be improved and not much cover from rain under patio. If this is improved bbq would have been able to be used but not enough shelter from rain. He said she said bottle of red was delicious. Bedrooms were good size and spaced apart. Downstairs laundry adequate however smells musty. Parking area quite poor and muddy son got his car bogged in driveway. Kitchen facilities adequate good size fridge plenty cups glasses crockery and cutlery. Body wash not supplied bring your own. Plenty DVDs and Netflix Large microwave Lovely fire place Relaxing stay would recommend this place for families who need a get away together. 😊

We appreciate your constructive feedback and will discuss this with the owner to look into the areas you believe need improving. Body soap (not wash) is supplied from the Sandalwood Shop in Albany, and it is strange that your son got his car bogged in the driveway as it is a fully graded gravel driveway with lots of parking space. The grassed area is not meant for parking/driving.

Way better than the photos!

The place has THE best view I have ever seen on my holidays down south in the denmark/albany areas. The house felt like a cabin mansion, furnished and polished with everything we needed. It is also within a 5 minute drive to the town centre and 10-20 minutes towards main attractions. The only two let downs for this accomm, to be picky, has been the nonexistent wifi (which none of us 6 adults could connect to during our entire stay), as well as the lack of communication with the property manager. It seems that automated emails are sent out regarding our satisfaction for the stay, but when we replied there was no response or effort to solve wifi connectivity issues. However, we all still considered the property to be amazingly clean, conveniently located, and beautifully placed amongst the hills of Denmark. Would definitely stay again!

We are very sorry for missing your message regarding the Wifi issues, although it’s too late to help now we are only ever a phone call/text away and would have been happy to come over to try and fix the problem. We haven’t had any other recent feedback relating to WiFi issues at Serendeva, so thank you for the feedback, we will look into it to see if it’s a provider issue or something technical.
