The house was so convenient and perfect as a "hub" for all the wonderful things to see and do. It was great having a washer and dryer. The furniture was comfy as was the bed. The whole place was really beautiful and spacious.I definitely would recommend this house anyone wanting to come to South Dakota to see this beautiful area.

This cozy cottage was the perfect home base for exploring the surrounding area. It’s within walking distance to shops and restaurants downtown. Very pleased with the cleanliness of the house and communication with the owner.

This is a great place for a couple or a lone traveler. Very neat and clean. Everything looks new. Close to downtown so you can walk to shops and restaurants. This was a great location to enjoy all the parks and towns around the Black Hills.

This was a cute property, within walking distance of downtown. We enjoyed walking to dinner and viewing the Presidents on the street corners. Very nice and modern inside with all the amenities you need during a vacation. Nice community area to have a glass of wine at night. The host was great with her communications and clear direction. Wish the bathroom was a tad bigger, but well worth making it work. Would stay again!

Walk to dine in town!

This beautifully renovated bungalow is easy walking distance from all the downtown sights and best restaurants. And all the amenities are well stocked.

Great location

Loved the convenience of the location. Fairly quiet considering it was on a somewhat busy street. Restaurant recommendations were spot on. Only two minor complaints: the bathroom had no counter space, and the bedroom and closet doors were in an awkward location and couldn't be open at the same time.

It was an updated hundred year-old home. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was very convenient. Home is convenient to downtown area. The property manager was spot on any needs that we had. Master bedroom & bath kinda small but didn’t bother us while we were sleeping. There is not allot of shelve space to put your stuff in the bathroom.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect—walking distance to my sister’s home, downtown, and main highways, which made visiting surrounding attractions very easy. Communication was stellar throughout our stay. We had a small hiccup locating the unit at first, but Jamie quickly called and guided us to the rear cottage. We truly appreciated the prompt support. We highly recommend their cottage and would gladly stay again!

Scouting South Dakota

Matt and Jami's bungalow in Rapid City was the perfect base camp for my too short initial exploration of the Black Hills and Badlands. As for the accommodations, everything was "as advertised" ----perhaps even nicer. The central location is ideal and I will plan to stay here again when I return. Thanks for a great stay!

Great stay in a convenient location

My husband and I stayed here for our time in South Dakota. It was a perfect home for our needs. Very clean and easy to access, with a reserved parking space. Centrally located to many of the top sites. The owners provided great communication and were quick to respond to any questions.

A well appointed home near downtown and black hills

My wife and I absolutely enjoyed staying here. It was perfectly done and near restaurants and shopping in Rapid City. We spent time in the parks and we had quick access to get there, with a very comfy spot to return to at the end of a long day. Two thumbs up.

Perfect location for visiting anywhere between the Black Hills and Badlands

Amazing property - very clean and well provisioned. Didn't cook in the kitchen, but could have, as it is well stocked. Great AC and the front porch was nice for sitting in the morning or evening so didn't have to worry about the direct sun. Only regret is that I wasn't able to spend more time here.

Comfortable stay

We chose this little house for its convenient location to all the parks and monuments. The online listing is very accurate and the house is comfortable and well appointed. One thing we noted is that the AC fan inside the house is quite loud when it runs but it does cool the house nicely. The communication with the host was excellent. They are very responsive. Overall our stay was excellent and we can highly recommend this vacation home.

Matt and I love to travel. We love luxury, comfort and convenience everywhere we stay. Our goal with our vacation rentals is to provide a luxurious experience to all of our guests. We try to ensure that our properties are comfortable and have everything needed for that home away from home.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We have five renovated homes in the "Village at St. Joseph" that accommodate each size of family and/or a group of friends. The Village allows guests to stay in the same area, yet also have their private spaces. There is a three-bedroom home located next door to this one-bedroom apartment, as well as a two-bedroom apartment upstairs and a studio apartment within the same complex. There are three additional one-bedroom homes available in the Village. We have created an outdoor commons area for all the guests to enjoy the beautiful area and create unique memories.

The homes are downtown and within walking distance to all our favorite breweries, coffee shops and restaurants, as well as boutiques. The homes are also within walking distance to two of the main hiking and mountain biking hills downtown, M-Hill and Skyline Recreational Park, which allows guests to a quick workout in. This location is ideal as it has direct access all the main intersections of Rapid City, easy access to I-90 and Mt. Rushmore.

You will see me (Jami) around the homes daily because I love to clean the homes personally and add special touches to make my guests feel at home. I also love outdoor work and spend quite a bit of time landscaping the property, adding new beauty to the landscaping every year.
