À propos de cet hébergement

Cet appartement de 2 chambres en bord de rivière peut accueillir confortablement une famille de 4 personnes. Situé sur plus de 2 hectares privés, il est à environ 20 minutes du métro North Train, à 15 minutes en voiture de Bethel Woods (Woodstock) et à 2 heures de route de New York. De plus, nous sommes attachés à un petit verger de pommiers / poiriers et à un poste de garde forestier (parc) que nous encourageons les clients à utiliser comme équipement supplémentaire. beaucoup de sentiers de randonnée à proximité, ski d'hiver, location de canoës, pêche et baignade (sur notre propriété).

Fabulous!

A beautiful and quaint place perfect for unwinding and relaxation! Incredible views in the area. There's a rooster and turkey that roam the property and they're very friendly! A wonderful place to stay overall.

Me and my dog Paden stayed for a week. The place was beautiful. The views with the river was just spectacular. The are very nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this place and stay again.

It was as shown online. The unit was clean, well-appointed and had some eclectic decor as well. Mike and Veronica are very nice hosts. We will return again.

Beautiful piece of the planet

If you want a quiet hideaway on the Delaware River, this is it!! Bird watching, beaver encounters, great fishing and swimming spot! Close to Bethel Woods (we saw two concerts)

Tranquil paradise

We had a lovely stay with our dog. The river was perfect for swimming and fishing. The apartment was super clean and spacious. We used the bbq and sat by the fire pit in the evenings. We would return in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location. We loved the aesthetics of the place. It was very roomy and comfortable. Great river access, not another house on site. We caught a bunch of fish. Mike & Veronica were great host. My son enjoyed meeting their chicken and turkey! We will definitely return.

Serene setting with beautiful view of the river

What a perfect place for my 11-year-old daughter, our dog, and me to get away from home for the weekend! Well-kept property with everything we needed to enjoy a few days in nature, without being too far away from civilization. It was a new moon the weekend of our visit so the stars were just incredible. Excellent communication and accommodation with the owner prior to the stay. We would definitely stay here again if we decided to return to the area. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous setting for nature lovers

The beauty of the trees and Delaware river were just what my soul needed. Plenty of room in the apartment for even our two dogs. Took hundreds of pictures. Comfy beds and pillows. Kitchen had everything we needed, even condiments.

Riverfront

The weather did not cooperate on our stay( mostly rainy) but we enjoyed it. When you open the door to the back the sight of the Delaware River entice you. You can actually cross a small bridge right to it. In the evening, enjoy the fire pit either the one by the river or the one by the side . House was clean .The host was easy to communicate with. Relaxing and peaceful weekend 🙂

Riverfront

Great until the power went out but nature was the cause. The owners were in the process of getting a generator to keep the well water flowing but it was too late. We decided to leave and they were very gracious and gave us a one night refund. Extremely nice people and everything was above expectations.

Amazing Time

My family and I were excited about our stay, but we could not have imagined what we found. Let me start by saying the owners were amazing. Check in was flawless and they were very accommodating. The property was as advertised and then some. The apartment was beautiful and clean with many amenities. My girls and I fished, but decided not to use the canoe. We went for a small hike from the property, along the Delaware River. We met the owners our last by the fire pit and only stopped by to see if there was any last minute items we needed. We are already planning several more trips to this property.

Отличное живописное место!

Нам очень понравилось это живописное место с видом на реку. Если хочется уединения и чтобы никто не трогал, эта локация то что надо. А еще кажется хозяева любят всякую живность и это прикольно. Около дома тусовались любопытный петух и индюшка, которые сначала прочекали нашу машину 😂 А потом обошли вокруг дома и загялнули прям в окно нашего номера и уже чекали нас! Вот и думай после этого что у животных нет чувств и минимального ин еллекта. В общем, хорошее место

Trip to the Temple

The property is in a lovely setting along the river. We chose it for its proximity to the Kadampa Temple where we attended a retreat, but had it been summer, we could have brought along kayaks and bikes and enjoyed our stay even more, as the apartment is mere steps to the river. Our hosts were very responsive and accommodating and the apartment clean, quiet and comfortable and decorated with casual charm. We have already made reservations to stay there again this month for a "Re-treat".

GREAT RIVER FRONT GET AWAY

We wanted to get a quick simple affordable get away to Delaware before colder weather was upon us, and we were very happy with our choice. The privacy offered even though there was another party in second rental on premises, was really appreciated. The view and accessibility of the river were excellent. The apt was large, comfy and well stocked. Beds were good, and we both would recommend The Coop to couples, families and friends for a authentic Delaware River get away! Thank you to hosts for sharing their great spot with us!

Amazing Gem On The River

This review is coming late from our stay last June. I just realized I didn’t leave it as promised. My apologies. We had such an amazing 3 night stay here! Being able to fish from the riverbank was awesome. Having a glass of wine in good company next to the fire pit was perfect. We rented a raft from Reber in Barryville just a couple of miles up the road and floated back to the rental for lunch. Then continued down the river…it was such a fun and memorable day. Everything you need is here to have a great time. The whole point is to unplug and enjoy this beautiful property and your “new” backyard. Just be mindful of the neighbors you may have and always be friendly. We lucked out and made friends with ours :-) Thanks again for having us! We are looking for open weekends now to rebook for this year. Looks like it’s going to be an annual thing.

Home Away from Home

Mike and Veronica were attentive to our needs. Thank you for letting us take our dog Dudley. He loved it up there. The apartment was great. It was clean and the view of the DE River was amazing. It had a history theme with paintings, books and sculptures. Not only that there was some old school handheld video games, which my son loved, plus board games that we played. Then there was the beauty and quiet of the property. All I can say is WOW!!! My son and I hung out by the fire pit and just stargazed. I was lucky enough to meet a Park Ranger that gave me some history of the area and then talked about the historical D & H Canal right on the property. We also went on hikes to Minisink Battleground, Tusten Mountain and Mongaup River Trails. My wife wants to go back in the summer for canoeing and swimming in the DE. She loved the magnificent views and peace and quiet. Also you are not far from a market for basic food needs and there other sites to see. Can’t Wait To Go Back!!!

This property sits on an especially beautiful section of the Delaware river. The waters are deep (over 20 feet in the middle of the river) with a particularly gentle current which is perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing. There are no bustling businesses, and no neighboring homes near this property or within eyesight. Yet, we are right off of RT 97 which is convenient and reassuring for those who do not want to stay in the deep woods or fear isolation.
