Neat tidy compact 2 bedroom unit. The unit has all the facilities needed and is warm and comfortable. The TV has over 100 channels and the Broadband wifi works a treat. It is a short walk to the famous Chez Jean Claude Patisserie in Rokeby Rd.
My husband & I stayed for a month and were joined by my sister for 21/2 weeks. The proximity to the train and selection of restaurants and coffee shops is excellent. The unit is small but adequate. The kitchen is reasonably well stocked. It was lovely to spend time in the courtyard but the aluminum table and chairs could be replaced
Quiet, clean, fully equiped, well located unit.
Close to shops, restaurants and public transport.
Nice courtyard
Lesley friendly and helpful.
Enjoyed our stay.
Carport tight to park in
very convenient well set up small apartment, though with ample room for 3. Lovely courtyard to sit in , quiet neighbourhood though upstairs flat noise could be a problem for some.
Leslie was a wonderful and very responsive hostess.
The apartment was clean and well appointed. It was also perfectly located near Kings Park on a beautiful street near shops and great cafes.
We would definitely rent this apartment again.
Thank you Leslie
My family and I thank Lesley very much for giving us the opportunity to spend some days in her beautiful apartment. We felt at home!! We found the apartment very clean and tidy. It had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay and the location of the apartment is great (close to restaurants, bus stops, supermarkets and the greatest attractions in the city). Every time my family is on vacation in Perth we will not hesitate to contact her again to reserve the apartment!!
Owner Lesley is pretty responsive to my queries and quickly fixed the problem, like the hot water system outage.
A cat was trying hard to get in one day but my wife was not feeling comfortable to let her in, haha!
Our unit was welcoming, bright, spacious, well set up with all facilities, quiet, the upstairs folk had minimal noise filtering down & a great location. The bed (mattress) was really good so a good nights sleep guaranteed.
The outside garden sitting area was a pleasure to sit out in, our coffees were from the many good local eateries.
Having a parking bay is a major bonus even if on small side. It did give our son, a 35 year local, a target to find the lane entranceđ A sketch would help đ
The property was clean and reasonably well appointed. The furniture and decor were a little tired but everything needed was there.
One improvement would be a second front door key as only having one when three adults were staying was a bit limiting.
The location is superb. Right near Rokeby St cafe and shops but still quiet and suburban. Very easy to get around and a 10 min walk to the train station. Buses at the door and Kings Park a 5 min walk away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well-equipped unit. Virtually everything we needed was provided for our 5 week stay. The location is good - the purple cat bus goes into the city for free from nearby. There are a couple of nice restaurants, cafes and a bar within a very short walk. Another pleasant bonus is a lady coming in every Sunday to clean and change bedding. Although we didn't meet, the owner seemed very pleasant indeed.
Great location, excellent host who responded to queries very promptly. The unit is well kitted out with all you could need for self catering, laundry etc.
The aircon doesn't quite reach into the bedrooms on really hot days/nights but a standing fan fixed that
convenient to cafes and restaurants also St John hospital
A little tied. The outdoor area needs some tiding up. Pave most of the yard against the unit. Keeping the bottlebrush tree and garden on the opposite. Maybe have the outdoor setting against the lounge window so you aren't sitting with above apartment looking over you. An umbrella or sail from the wall. Apart from this is fine.
After almost 30 years in real estate in the Western Suburbs, I have now retired to Denmark, WA and live on a small holding with my husband. We now breed Alpacas and have a small herd of cattle, a few chickens and two horses.
The location of this building was ideal for a long term investment - close to the University of WA, local major hospitals, and the Subiaco cafe, restaurant and shopping strip. No 2 is one of two in the building rented short term, and its location has made it very popular with guests.
Being single level and on the ground floor, it appeals to all ages. The private courtyard garden is a haven. It is very secure with CCTV operating over the car park and entry. It is fully equipped and has unlimited wifi, making it ideal for short stay guests who like a degree of independence.
