Foxgrove est une exquise maison d'hôtes des Highlands du Sud récemment rénovée, située juste à l'extérieur du canton de Fitzroy Falls. Niché sur 2,5 hectares, offrant de beaux jardins et des perspectives de ferme spectaculaires, Foxgrove permet aux clients de se détendre au jour le jour et d'apprécier la vraie beauté que les Southern Highlands ont à offrir. À seulement 1 heure et demie de Sydney et de Canberra, Foxgrove est l'endroit idéal pour une évasion dans les Southern Highlands. Idéalement situé à une minute en voiture d'un lieu de mariage populaire et à seulement 20 minutes de Bowral et de la vallée de Kangourou, Foxgrove constitue également l'hébergement de mariage idéal.

Perfect getawat

We had a perfect stay over the long weekend. The house was equipped above and beyond any other place I've stayed with a great attention to detail showing care from the owners in ensuring our stay went smoothly. Loved the dining and lounge space and the outdoor seating areas for a glass of wine with scenic sunset views.

Lovely place to stay.

Cassandra and Matty's house was the perfect base for us for my daughter's wedding. It had everything we needed, plenty of open space and room for 10 adults and wonderful views for pre wedding photos. The house was cosy and warm, with the wood fire burning on our arrival and the beds comfortable and warm. The cows and peacocks were an added bonus. Communication was great and we were more than grateful for being allowed a late checkout so that we could have a BBQ breakfast on Mother's Day. I would highly recommend this property to everyone.

My youngest daughter was getting married the weekend that we stayed at Foxgrove. So it was all about location for us and we only a few minutes from the venue. So we needed a house that could accommodate a large group, there is plenty of space here for everyone to lounge about, kitchen was really spacious, fire was lit when we arrived which made the house lovely and cosy Property well maintained and the outlook over the surrounding fields spectacular. So if your looking for a quiet place to relax with friends for the weekend look no further.

Beautiful house and excellent host

It was a beautiful, cosy, and comfortable home and garden. We had such a lovely time. Cass was also great host and responded to any questions so promptly. Highly recommend.

Low beds. Not happy. Bathrooms locks not working. No proper good size Utensils for 8 people for cooking. Rest all good. Very well relaxed & We had good time.

Perfect for a reset and getaway

The property and location are stunning. The house has plenty of windows to take in the view of the country side. Inside the house is open, comfortable and exactly what you need to switch off from life and just be for a weekend. Kitchen facilities are great as well Our mini also loved being able to see the cows and other animals in the nearby paddocks

Relaxed weekend away with lovely outlook

We were 2 x families with 6 children 2-14 years old. Outdoor area is great, with beautiful outlook over neighbouring farms with kangaroos and cows in sight and fire pit available for use. Bed configuration of 5x doubles/queens with no single bed option was a bit tricky with children. Furnishings are simple but comfortable. Worth knowing that there is no wifi and reception signal is minimal. Disappointing the main fire place is not available to use but outside fire pit was good - albeit cold as soon as the sun set! Owner had had internet issues so communication in the lead up was delayed. Otherwise quick to respond via text once we arrived.

Needs Finishing Touches

The general property styling is nice. The basic standard of the property does not match the price you pay per night. Door handles were missing in the hallway, chipped paint on front door and frames throughout the house, simple things like a missing candle in the centerpiece of the table - one of the first things you notice when you walk in. There is an indoor fireplace however there is no firewood inside, only a small pile under the carport - no kindling provided. The kitchen pantry was full of half eaten chips, opened flour, sugar, sauces, oils etc. not in any containers and the shelves were grotty and sticky which meant we couldn't store our own food in the pantry. The fly screens were falling off throughout the property, dead plants were left in the dining area, there was no toilet paper holder in the toilet, the silver floor joiner between the kitchen and dining was glued down, which is quite dangerous for infants crawling and walking barefoot around the house, the kitchen cupboards didn't close properly, there was no dust pan. The bin lids were broken and held down with boards. Communication started off good initially with the owner but then she took over 2 weeks to respond to queries and she was 3 days late when processing the refund. Overall, the property has potential but is lacking effort from the owner and basic things to be completed.

Nice location, good place for group of 10

Peaceful location, ample room for 5 couples. Comfortable beds and loved the large dining table and combustion heater. Disappointed with the state of the bbq and outdoor benches. This property is in need of some maintenance. Overall a pleasant stay in basic accommodation.

Beautiful

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Stayed for a chilled girls weekend. Lots of natural light, but still so warm at nights - fireplace was lovely. Woke up on Saturday morning, made a coffee and gazed out the back to find kangaroos hopping about. Have recommended to all my friends and colleagues!!

Very comfortable house and super relaxing

We had a really lovely stay at Foxgrove. The hosts were extremely friendly and had lit the kitchen fire and put the heaters on in advance of our arrival. They helped with enquiries about the local area and told us of suitable walks for our kids and quickly attended to minor maintenance issues (one caused by our youngest child breaking something) really quickly and without fuss. The inside of the house was very clean and all the linen and towels were of high quality. The house comfortably accommodated 10 people and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. We stayed in July and the house was toasty warm with the use of the one fire and heaters. The land around the house was perfect for the 6 kids to run around and have adventures and games in. The views of the surrounding farmland are really lovely and the property felt private. We saw kangaroos from the house (also cows, but the kangaroos provided the most excitement). One minor negative is that the fireplace on the main photo on the online listing is not available for use, but the combustion fire in the main living area works very well and kept us warm.

New Year getaway

This property was suitable for our 2 day getaway , a few things need attention ie. kitchen spout flew off , instructions in how to use the stove & microwave would be handy , no locks on bathrooms & when we are aging the beds are a bit low & at least queen beds would be more suitable . in saying all of that we really enjoyed our time there even with the bushfires eminent

Back to nature

What a glorious spot Foxgrove is! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay; enjoying the wood oven at night, sitting around the farmhouse table with friends and family, admiring the view and taking in the vista and fresh air from the sunken garden with outdoor furniture, to enjoying a steak on the barbie! Just to sit and relax and enjoy good conversation with family and friends - can't beat it! Great location with only a stone's throw to visit surrounding highland highlights! A big thank you Cassandra from us all, your bach was truly beautiful and a pleasure to stay in.
