Kallarroo Cottage dans les montagnes enneigées

Cozy Cottage - aménagé dans un style rustique - offre une vue imprenable sur une vallée sur la propriété de pâturage de montagne de 1000 acres près de Nimmitabel.

Détendez-vous devant la cheminée à foyer ouvert et admirez la rivière Kydra, en profitant du confort rural et d'un vrai goût de la vie agricole traditionnelle australienne. Ou vous pouvez aller marcher dans les pâturages de brousse et les forêts anciennes pour observer les animaux et les oiseaux indigènes. Vous pouvez également conoe sur la rivière ou jouer au croquet sur l'immense pelouse avant.

Kallarroo Cottage offre à ses clients la possibilité de vivre un séjour dans une authentique cabane en rondins. De hauts plafonds en bois et une cheminée à foyer ouvert créent l'ambiance pour une escapade relaxante à la campagne.

Le chalet peut accueillir jusqu'à cinq personnes dans ses deux chambres, une avec lit double et une avec lit simple, et un coin salon en bas avec un lit double.

Les clients n'ont besoin de rien pendant leur séjour, avec toutes les commodités modernes fournies pour rendre votre séjour facile, relaxant et inoubliable.

À l'intérieur, il y a des téléviseurs, des films sur USB externe et des feux ouverts bien sûr pour se blottir avec un grand nombre de livres parmi lesquels choisir sur les étagères. D'une manière ou d'une autre, vous ne vous ennuierez jamais. Kallarroo se trouve dans un coin fantastique du monde, où une excursion d'une journée vous mènera dans une direction au mont. Kosciuszko et de magnifiques plages de l'autre.

La région environnante offre une option fantastique pour l'exploration.

La propriété est à peu près à mi-chemin entre les plages immaculées de la côte sud de la Nouvelle-Galles du Sud et les spots de ski et de pêche des Snowy Mountains.

Avec 1 000 acres de terrain vallonné, y compris des forêts indigènes, des pâturages de type parc et trois kilomètres de façade sur la rivière Kydra, il y a beaucoup à faire à Kallarroo.

Les pistes et les sentiers vous emmèneront sur n'importe quoi, d'une promenade légère à une promenade dans la brousse. Une promenade de 15 minutes de la maison vous amène à un trou d'eau profond et long où la rivière Kydra rencontre Greenlands Creek. Vous pouvez faire un tour en canoë orange ou aller nager dans les mois les plus chauds. Sur le chemin, vous découvrirez la cabane à arbres creux. Si vous êtes à l'affût, vous verrez certainement de la faune, peut-être la famille des ornithorynques locaux ou un échidné mignon. Les oiseaux comprennent une gamme de perroquets colorés et il existe un nombre incalculable de wombats, de kangourous et de wallabies. De plus, il y a les résidents payants - moutons et bovins, et nos préférés - chevaux, écossais Highland Cattles, alpagas et faisans.

Absolute Relaxation in the Middle of Nowhere

From the various types of animals roaming the property, to the fantastic walks through various paddocks to the unbelievable open fireplace. This was a great time away with everything there waiting. Thank you for the hospitality and the relaxing atmosphere, just what was needed!

AMAZING!!!

Thank you so much Beata!! We loved the place. My brothers, sister and myself booked this for the weekend and have to say that we were absolutely blown away by it the minute we arrived. The cottage is very comfortable and extremely clean. There was more than enough wood for both fire places inside and the outside fire pit had ample wood to burn also,which we made use of as we sat around and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Will definitely recommend and am looking forward to staying here again.

wonderful

We loved our weekend at Kallarroo. There is so much to do and our stay was not long enough to explore it all. The kids enjoyed the outdoors exploring and engaging with the animals. Beata is a exceptional host, friendly and welcoming. The cottage was spotless when we arrived with everything we needed. It is our second time there and will be going again.

Kallaroo Cottage is the perfect place to escape

It's the attention to detail that makes Kallaroo Cottage so warm and inviting - from the neatly stacked dining plates in the kitchen cupboard to the homemade furniture pieces - like the coffee table and bedside tables. As soon as you enter the cabin it's as though the only thing needed to make it perfect is a hot chocolate in your hands. We stayed over a weekend and booked Kallarroo for a much-needed timeout. It was the perfect setting. We walked the property and saw kangaroos, horses, cows and birds overhead. We had an open fire BBQ on a perfect full moon night when everything seemed still and quiet. We slept downstairs on a comfortable queen size bed with a plush quilt keeping us warm and our dog on his own comfy bed beside us on the floor. There was no TV reception but we welcomed this and were happy to watch videos or read the books that were provided. We especially liked the interesting pieces around the cabin like an antique fishing rod attached to the roof beams and old horse riding straps. The cabin was spotless and all the appliances worked well. The Bathroom was clean and tidy. The hot water system ran a little too well as it was hot hot hot out of the tap - so a little care was needed to add more cold water than normal. Everything you need to feel comfortable is at Kallaroo. You only need to bring food and clothes. We would definitely return.

A magical place

We stayed for 3 nights as part of our Christmas Celebrations with our 2 children (aged 10 & 12) and we weren't disappointed. The accommodation was just magical and the surrounds simply beautiful. It was so easy to relax and we had everything we needed. We loved the drive into the property and it was the perfect way to spend precious time together without any distractions but each other. We enjoyed the walk about the property and all the animals. My son even learnt to chop & split wood. The ChristmasTree and decorations ensured we felt like it was a true Australia Christmas. Having the option of being indoors or outdoors was ideal and we loved the fire inside and the outside fire pit (which cooked our Christmas Ham) whilst enjoying the views. Thank you to Beata & Norbert who were terrific hosts, giving us everything we needed and the opportunity to enjoy their beautiful property. This place will hold many special family memories for us!

Fantastic property

We stayed for two nights with our two teenage children and it was very relaxing and welcoming. The cottage is beautiful, very clean and spacious, adequate for a family of four. The hosts were welcoming and the facilities within the cottage were more than adequate. The view is amazing from the cottage, very quiet and the property is fantastic. The highlight was being able to feed the horses, especially the new foals and pat the llamas as well as sit outside with an open fire. Overall a wonderful relaxing break.

Perfect weekend away!

If you want to get away from city life and have a perfect break then this is a place you need to visit. You will be blown away by the beauty of surrounding nature and appreciate the peace and tranquility. The cottage itself is a piece of art and we were amazed by hosts' attention to details in making it cozy and comfy . There were plenty to do through out the day and night-bush walking, off road driving, feeding the friendly farm animals(carrots), bonfires under the picturesque sky full of stars! Thanks Beata and Norbert for all the hospitality, We will be back!

Everything we could have asked for and more!

We chose to stay at Kallaroo because it was close to the snow and looked like it would be cosier than your average snowy mountain accomodation with the woodfires and log cabin styling. We ended up spending more time enjoying the property and its beautiful scenery and animals than we did at the snow, looking forward to our next visit! Definitely reccomend!

Absolutely wonderful

If you are looking for a place that's safe for kids to run around, go for fantastic walks ( you even get a map with different coloured tracks), get acquainted with friendly horses and alpacas, admire a night sky full of stars or roast mashmellows on a campfire - you've just found it. The cottage is absolutely delightful and clean, kitchen is equiped with everything you may need ie. around 20 different type of spices, various teas, enough pots and pans etc), and the place is surprisingly warm during winter ( as long as you take good care of the fireplaces). The owners are very friendly and helpful ie. upon our arrival the fire was already lighted in the fireplaces which made the cottage nice and cozy. Also, Beata is a great photographer that makes you feel comfortable during the photo shoot and her creativity is amazing. The pictures taken by her are just beautiful and are a great reminder of a wonderful time spent in Kallarroo. One last thing - when driving to the cottage for the first time pay attention at the distances provided in the map and you will be just fine. We made this mistake of trusting our 'gut feeling' where to go and took as a 'bit' or turning and reversing before we found the gate :)
