Perfect for families

We have stayed in many rental homes and were so impressed with this one. It was thoughtfully put together and had all of the essentials and many conveniences- beds galore, stain remover, clothing steamer, high chair, children’s books, first aid kits, etc. My family was comfortable and happy. The home is old and charming and has so many beautiful original windows and doors. I loved it. The backyard and garage are fenced and we felt safe. The only downside was the toilet paper.. just bring your own. And maybe the overcommunicativeness to rent and check in- we had to provide more information and documentation to rent this house than any other we’ve stayed in. They texted several times and allow zero visitors which was okay for us but good to know. I’m guessing they had a bad experience in the past and are being extremely thorough now which was okay, just kind of surprising. 10/10 would stay here again.

Great location and family friendly

The house was as described. Very clean and it had all the essentials. The kids loved the backyard and playground. We loved that everyone had room to spread out and everyone had a bathroom. It is a great location to the zoo, ballgames and we loved that top golf was just down the road. We would love to stay here again. Only drawback would have been that we had to park on the road since we were traveling in a conversion van and couldn’t park in the driveway or garage because of the shared driveway

Family weekend

The property was spacious, clean, and overall very charming. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor space. Getting into the garage was a little tight but we appreciated the safe, private parking area. We will absolutely use this property again for larger family gatherings.

Perfect!!!

We have a family of six with four children ranging in ages from 6 to 14. This property was absolutely amazing completely stopped and I have never been more comfortable in a VRBO! We all loved it and would love to go back again.

Sibling and cousin weekend adventure

This house was great for our needs. We had 5 adults and 5 kids. Plenty of space to run and have fun and plenty of space for all of us to eat. It was clean and easy to check in. The host was responsive when we had a bathroom without a hand towel. If you are using the crib bring your own sheets as they do not provide those (we had asked ahead of time but only bc we saw a review). The most difficult part was the reservation process (which part of that was our fault). Be prepared for a few extra steps compared to a regular non-third party booking.

Everything as stated about the property. Street Parking sometimes is tricky depending on how many vehicles, but this property has a garage for 2 vehicles which was an extra bonus.

Such a great house!

All 14 of us loved this house! It fit all of us comfortably and will most likely be back next year. My only complaint was that there weren’t enough towels for all of us, maybe more blankets too but other than that we loved it!

Had a great time staying here. The house was as described and we found it to be comfortable and spacious enough for our family of 8. It is an older house but very nicely maintained and furnished The neighborhood was very quiet and that was really nice. It was also a plus to be so close to all the attractions The communication was great until the last night when I tried to contact the owner but they never responded. We had a problem with the garage disposal…we were ok without it but I wanted the owner to know. Also one of the rugs in a 2nd floor bedroom had a terrible odor and I wanted them to know….just so they could alert the cleaning crew. I would definitely recommend this house these two issues were minor but it would have been nice to have received a response because they were excellent with the check in communication.. That is my only reason for the 4 star review. This house is very family friendly and I highly recommend it. We would definitely like to return.

Perfect for our plan

We had a three-family reunion with kids of various ages. The space and layout worked out amazingly. The location was ideal for all of the places we visitors in STL. Would definitely stay again under the same conditions.

Girl's Getaway

I'm a St. Louisan but moved out of state. This was a girls trip with friends feom my new state and i took them to all my favorite STL spots. We had a fantastic trip and this house was perfect.

The home was clean and was as the pictures and description stated. We enjoyed the toddler amenities. However three of the four codes to get into the garage and the house did not work. Which left for an inconvenient check in process. Also, the TV upstairs Remote control did not work. We found no dish cloths and the bedroom door on the third floor would not close.

Great Location

This was a last minute find for our extended family to be together and we could not be happier. It is centrally located and only requires a short drive to attractions and activities. Very kid friendly home indoors and out. Our grandkids had a blast in the 3rd floor play area. The home is roomy and beds plentiful and very comfortable. We were pleased with our stay and how quickly we received responses to messages. We had two large vehicles that fit securely in the garage. Street parking was easy to find also.

St. Louis getaway

This very large vacation home had good indoor and outdoor space. It was great for families, and situated just minutes from great attractions. We visited the City Museum, St. Louis Zoo, and the Union Station Aquarium/ attraction area. The nice kitchen was convenient and made it easy to save money on food. This place was also fabulous for children. The only issue was not being able to change the downstairs AC. We froze our bottoms off.The service did not have information on changing it. Beds were comfortable and clean. There were plenty of plates, but could use more smaller spoons. If your planning on cooking,you should definitely bring a roll of paper towels, and dish cloths. To the owner, your place is charming, but could use a quarterly deap cleaning.

Perfect for families!

I can’t say enough about all the extras they had for children! A great playroom with toys, tv and drawing area. Tons of sleeping space! In the Master they had a crib and play pen set up that worked great for our daughters! It was a great weekend away with our family of 7 to attend the Blues Game! The neighborhood felt safe, parking was convenient with the garage! If we come back we will stay here!! The home is beautiful, I loved seeing some of the original character! The fenced backyard with a playground was a huge bonus however it was snowy while there! (I am kicking myself for not bringing snow gear for the kids to play) just up the road people were sledding at the park! Close to everything and plenty of options for food delivery!
