Great property. It was perfect for our family for a long Thanksgiving weekend.

Great property and location. The house was really well stocked. Loved having an extra refrigerator, that was very helpful.

Beautiful home cery spacious. Lively lil area. Only complaint we had was the beds.

Thos was first year we as afamily did thanksgiving at the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and the home. Qould definitely come back.

Wonderful place to stat

Recently stayed with my parents, daughter and son in law. The view was perfect! The house was wonderful! My dad enjoyed napping on the outside couch every afternoon. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our family vacation!

Great family week!!

Great place to stay! Perfect anoint of space for our family. We cooked almost every night and the kitchen was stocked well with pots pans and dishes. The beach access is what made this an excellent place to stay. Location was a plus also. We enjoyed our evening walks to the pier and to get ice cream. The pool is on the small side especially if all 6 villas occupy the pool area at the same time. We made it work though! I would love to come back!!

Beautiful Home

This home was amazing. Stocked with everything you could need. Air conditioning worked great which is always a plus with me. I've stayed places where the owner controlled air conditioning remotely and it was way too warm. On the beach, one block from pier and restaurants. We had an amazing week.

Kure Beach Condo Life

Craig - wonderful to hear you enjoyed Ocean Kure! Ocean Kure is conveniently located to shops, restaurants, and the Kure Beach pier. All of these areas are within walking distance from the front door. If you drive less than 5 minutes down the road you will also find Ft. Fisher, the aquarium, and the ferry that will take you to beautiful historic Southport. We're sorry to hear that the pool was closed for inspections during your stay. So you know, the pool is managed by the HOA of this condo complex. I'm happy to see that we were able to compensate you for the pool being closed. Thank you for choosing Ocean Kure! Honest review

Great location and nicely furnished, however, the plastic mattress pads on every bed nearly ruined the trip. I understand why they use them but they are unbearably hot to sleep on, and as I discovered, we’re used to cover a dirty mattress. Additionally, the cushions on the porch furniture are not waterproof (here we could use some plastic!) and were soaking wet the entire trip due to all the rain. Overall a good place, though. Nice that all the tvs were smart tvs and had Rokus.

Clean unit for larger group

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice, close to the beach. Unit was clean. I am used to using more pillows so I wish for the pillows in the closets there would have been initial pillow cases for them. My only other disappointment was the pool did not have loungers or any chairs unless you took your own. The handicap chair lift was perfect for 2 of our handicap guests. The decks I would say needs some attention as spinters can be an issue if you dont wear your shoes. The wood has split in several spots and some nails are higher than the boards. Don't get me wrong we had a great stay but just some things we noticed.

Not a good night sleep

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful townhouse. Perfect location and extra touches like a changing table and beach cart. The only drawback is the queen bed is so uncomfortable. My husband and I never got a good night's rest. Sadly I couldn't stay again because of the bed. It's a shame because I loved everything else. Also when we arrived the code wouldn't work on the door. Didn't get much advantage of the early check in due to that. Got a whole 10 minutes. Had a issue also with someone taking the key to the pool but got that resolved. So I have to take that into account.

We will relay the information regarding the queen bed to the only, however it is very subject as to how each person likes their bed whether they like a soft or firm bed for sleeping. Our system shows that you did have a few issues with the door code, but our agent was able to assist and get you in the property to start enjoying your vacation. Great Location and Beautiful Condo!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the Kure Beach Community. The condo was exceptionally clean and the kitchen was well equipped. I chose this condo and payed the higher rental fee specifically for it's handicap lift chair, swimming pool, and game room with ping pong table. Unfortunately, I was not told the lift chair was inoperable until 6 hours before check in as we were traveling to get there with no other options available according to property management. Three of us were able to get my mother upstairs where she remained for the duration of our stay. She did enjoy the beautiful ocean/pier view from the condo. Also, construction was going on next door and it was noisy during the day (We understand that is out of management control) the pool was empty despite being told it would be open the week before and there wasn't a ping pong table as shown in the photos so the kids were disappointed. Also, I suggest replacing the king mattress because it sags in the middle and is very uncomfortable. Overall, we made the best of our vacation and enjoyed the large space of the condo to be with family.

Thanks for taking the time to let us know about your experience Donna. I'm glad there were parts of your stay that were acceptable and that you enjoyed the time spent with your family. It is always unfortunate when an amenity breaks at the last minute, as it seems there is no good time to have an equipment failure. As you know, we tried to address the problem with the lift chair but it had to be referred out to a vendor, and for that inconvenience we did provide a $100 refund from the owner. The HOA controls pool access, and we do not promise these at any time of year but most especially in the springtime as it can be difficult to get them opened and inspected. We'll certainly take your advice on the bed to heart and see if it is time to replace that item.

There was even a fully stocked spice cabinet available! Our family unit consisted of three couples and each of us had a dedicated bathroom. We only wish that we could have stayed longer!

Delightful stay!

The property was very nice. Two down sided, the bedroom behind the kitchen was the only bedroom with a queen bed. A king would have been better. The fourth bedroom off the garage was not usable for us. We had little ones (6 an 3), and they couldn’t stay their by themselves. We did however, use it for a work office.

Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall me and my guests (4 adults and 6 teens) enjoyed our stay. Location was optimal, place was clean, had lots of room, view of the ocean was awesome, and was nice to have the boardwalk right there. The kitchen was fully equipped. Prompt response from rental agency and owner for new coffee maker and to fix game table. A few negatives: parking could be an issue if more than 3 vehicles. It would have been nice to have actual bathroom mats and a rug in the entry way. We (especially the kids) were disappointed the pool closed on day 3, due to failed inspection. I did not request to be compensated, but do feel the agency/owner should have offered something. We paid a premium price that included a pool; which the kids only used once. I would still recommend this rental.

The owners do supply bath mats for their guests during each reservation. However, we will speak with the owners regarding the rugs for the foyer. So you know, the pool is ran by the complex HOA. We do not have control of the opening or closing of the pool. Thankfully the beach is only a few steps away from the front door! Thank you for allowing Ocean Kure to host your family beach retreat! Long weekend away

Kure beach is a lovely, quieter place away from the bustle of some of the more popular nearby towns. Great accommodations and walking distance to restaurants make this a nice place to unwind for a few days
